Board of Governors Meeting (6/26/20)

Okay Welcome to the first official BOG. AS talked about in the Chat Pike1302 has volunteered to host the Parade of Champions. Now we have to decide how we will crown our first World Champions. So let's hear some ideas. I might add that if we are trying to get some time to build guys up we could push the POC a little farther back.

Not sure that I would move the date back. That's 1 month away. IMO that's ample time to get the ball moving

For the world title, should we do a tournament? Start it now and do the rounds weekly. With the final two names meeting at POC?

I would think a Battle Royal for the tag titles. 2 teams per member....20 teams. Random draw wins.

Maybe a guantlet match to determine the women?


If we decide we need multiple tournaments, I would volunteer to host and write one. I have some spare time to do so. Might help with not having so much congestion during POC

I think we should just keep it to Heavyweight and Tag Team at POC. Women and Junior can be done after. I'm OK with the Tag Team Battle Royal idea.

will the heavyweight tourney be a random draw for match ups and winners?

i'm also down for a tag team battle royal and agree with Supes on just doing the heavyweight and tag champs first

Okay So I'm going to make a Sign up Sheet for World & Tag Titles

I really like the idea of having the matchups and winner drawn at random to determine the world champion. I would like the tournament to be done in one night .... We can make it happen .... that way no one but me and the guy that draws the names will know what is going on, which in turn increases the reading enjoyment for everyone else. Just my opinion.

I’m good with Tag and Heavy for the first part . Then add Women and Junior in a month or two to actually build those . I’m so down with random draw . And I like Chair’s idea of a tourney .
