Live from the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan . . . this is . . .
SHOOTING . . .STARS . . . WRESTLING!!!! The opening SSW promo airs to ‘MILLIONAIRE’ by Queens of the Stone AgeThe screen is blank for a moment as we can here the fans chanting ‘S . . . S . . . W!!!! . . . S . . . S . . . W!!!!’ The screen comes up on a rowdy arena full of fans pumping their fists as strobe lights go off through the venue and the camera zooms in and out. Mike Goldberg and Joe Rogan are at ringside. They welcome the crowd to the show, and put over that tonight Bryan Danielson puts the Pure title on the line against Lance Storm, Team Domination will be in 6 man action, and Owen Hart has promised to defend the SSW Genesis title against an opponent of his choosing! Who will it be????
They are interrupted as ‘MISERIA CANTERE: THE BEGINNING by AFI’ hits and out comes CM Punk! Punk comes out and cuts a promo saying that he is tired of all the games. He is tired of coming out here every week and fighting with John Cena over nothing. He is tired of wasting his time with John Cena. He wants something else, and that is the SSW Genesis title! Punk talks about the upcoming Great American Bash, and that SSW will host the live national broadcast on July 4th. On that show, he wants Owen Hart and he wants the title!!!!
This brings out John Cena. Cena cuts a promo on Punk, saying that the only way he is going to get his hands on Owen Hart is by going through him first. Punk says that he has done that already. Cena talks about how Punk beat him by DQ, but he never pinned him. He bets him that he couldn’t make him submit or pin him. Punk will not take the bait. Out comes Owen Hart, who says that they should just fight and get it over with.
Mike – ‘What is Owen Hart doing out here? He’s supposed to defend the Genesis title tonight against an unnamed opponent.’Joe – ‘Oh, you know how the Hart Foundation loves to stir the pot. As long as Cena and Punk are fighting each other, Owen doesn’t have to worry about them coming after him.’He says that he doesn’t care which one of them wants a shot, they could not beat the longest reigning singles champion in the NWA right now. They have not shown that they deserve a title shot. Cena invites Owen in the ring and says he will show him that he deserves it. This leads to a shoving match between Punk and Cena, but Owen tries to cheap shot them with the SSW title. They dodge and then take Owen out, then they start fighting. Punk catches Cena in a urinage and locks on the Anaconda Vice, and Owen comes in and locks Cena in the Sharpshooter at the same time!!!! Punk finally lets go and nails Owen, picking him up and hitting him with the GO TO SLEEP!!!!
Punk leaves the ring and points at Owen and Cena, telling them ‘You . . . got . . . Punk’d!!!!’

Hot Commodity (EZ Money, Julio Dinero, Chris Hamrick)Team Domination put on a clinic in this one. They make quick tags in and out of the ring, isolating Hamrick on their side of the ring. EZ Money comes in and gets a little bit of offense, and they try to work over Haas, but he quickly tags in Angle. Angle plants everyone with suplexes, but Dinero comes in to break up the pin attempt. All 6 men are going at it now, and Hamrick goes up top but Angle runs up the ropes and hits the top rope Olympic Slam. Money gets sent outside, and Haas and Benjamin hit the ‘Dominant Force’ (fireman carry flapjack to leaping flatliner) on Dinero while Angle makes Hamrick tap out to the ankle lock at the same time.

In the back, we get promos from each of the men in tonight’s main event for the SSW Pure title
Danielson – ‘Lance Storm, you seem to be under the misunderstanding that you actually earned this shot tonight. You see’ you took something from me that I wanted, and that was a clean victory over Kurt Angle. So tonight I am gonna take a little of that back. You come out and talk about Canadians being superior to Americans? Well, you won’t be saying that after I make you beg for mercy in the middle of the ring. Tonight, I am going to show you why I am the ‘Best in the World’!’
Storm – ‘If I could be serious for a minute. Bryan Danielson, you want to act like a hot shot and offer me a shot at the Pure title. Well, you just made the biggest mistake of your career. You’re good, but are you great? Not hardly. You see, you haven’t paid your dues in the wrestling capital of the world: Calgary . . . Alberta, Canada! And you still have American blood in your viens and that makes me better than you already. But then again, when you are no longer the Pure champion after tonight don’t blame Canada . . . blame yourself! Trailer Park Trash (Kid Kash & Jamie Noble)
vs.
Gods of Gravity (Paul London & Brian Kendrick)Throughout the match, Mike and Joe talk about how bog of an upset it was for Noble & Kash to win the 4 way match last week. London and Kendrick are booed heavily in this one because of their actions of last week, and the fact that they were the ones that attacked the Motor City Machine Guns a few months back. There is a lot of back and forth action in this one, but Mickie tries to get involved. Kash grabs her by the hair and pulls her in the ring and is about to hit her, but London stops him. The Guns set Kash up for the Doomsday Sliced Bread, but the Motor City Machine Guns hit the ring. They grab Mickie and toss her outside on top of London, and then hit their double team kicking combo on him. Kendrick is distracted in the ring, and he gets caught by Noble in a Tiger Bomb and Kash hits the 5 star frog splash for the pinfall. Trailer Park Trash pulls out another one.
Here are your winners . . . Kid Kash and Jamie Noble . . . Trailer Park Trash
Kash and Noble go over to the ring announcer and argue with him about calling them Trailer Park Trash (not their official team name)

Joel Gertner tries to get a word with Victoria in the back. Beth Phoenix interrupts and the two ladies argue and Gertner gets in between them and loves it. It is not long before Idol is there to pull Beth away, and he asks her what she is doing. She needs to be focused because he could be the picked opponent for Owen Hart tonight. That is more important than her little catfight. Beth says that she and Victoria have unfinished business and she is going to do something for herself for once and walks off. Owen comes out and talks about the title picture. You’ve got John Cena, CM Punk, Taz, and others that want to get their hands on him. Well, Taz is no longer a problem, and Cena and Punk are going to have to prove something to him. But he still needs to showcase his talents because he is the longest reigning singles champion in the NWA. So tonight he has chosen an opponent to put the title on the line. Out comes ‘Sugar’ Shane Helms!
For the SSW Genesis title
Owen Hart
vs.
‘Sugar’ Shane HelmsThis one does not turn out to be the cakewalk that Owen intended, as Helms takes the fight to him from the opening bell. Owen finally grounds Helms by working on the knee, setting him up for the Sharpshooter. Helms fights back, hitting an enziguri and then soaring off the top rope with a huge flying bodypress. Helms nails the ‘Sugar Smack’ (super kick) to get a close 2 count, then follows it up with the Codebreaker for another. Owen continues to kick out, and then nails an enziguri of his own that nearly takes Helms head off. He goes up top for a leg drop, but Helms meets him there and hits a swinging neckbreaker off the top rope!!!! He lays an arm over, but Owen kicks out at 2!!!! Helms goes for the ‘Nightmare on Helms Street’, but Owen turns into it and hits a backdrop driver! Owen goes for the Sharpshooter, but Helms rolls him up and gets a quick 2 count again!!!! Owen is back on his heels, and Helms goes up top one more time, but he misses a missile dropkick. Owen catches both his legs on the way down and locks on the Sharpshooter!!!! Helms fights it, dragging his way to the ropes. Just as he is about to reach them, Owen pulls him back to the center of the ring and Helms has no choice but to tap out!
Here is your winner . . . and STILL SSW genesis champion . . . Owen Hart!
Owen slowly makes his way from the ring with the title, but it is obvious that Helms took him to the limit. The fans applaud Helms as he makes his way to the back.
It is announced that next week it will be CM Punk taking on John Cena. Also next week Victoria is going to put the North American Women’s title on the line against Beth Phoenix. Commercial Break
Pure title match
Bryan Danielson
vs.
Lance StormBoth men exchange various holds to start out, but Danielson is surprisingly the more aggressive of the two. He punishes Storm with forearms and totally outwrestles him at the onset, but Storm settles in and regains the advantage after hitting a super kick. He manages to catch Dragon coming off the ropes and rolls through to lock on the Canadian Maple Leaf! This forces Dragon to use a rope break early on. Dragon turns on the heat, working over the shoulder of Storm. Danielson goes up top and hits a missile drop kick right to the shoulder of Storm. He goes for the crossface chicken wing, but Storm fights out of it and hits the cradle piledriver for a close 2 count! Storm goes for a springboard missile dropkick, but Danielson catches him in mid-air with a dropkick. Danielson hits a Regal-plex for a 2 count, then hits the diving headbutt. Out of the back comes the Hart Foundation, and they watch from ringside. Meanwhile, Danielson goes for a roaring forearm on Storm, but he pulls the ref in the way and Danielson connects with the ref instead!!!! With the ref down, the Hart Foundation get involved but out of the back comes Team Domination to make the save. They brawl outside, and Angle grabs Storm and hits the Olympic slam through the ringside table!!!! Danielson rolls back in the ring, but Storm gets counted out when the ref gets back up.
Here is your winner . . . via countout . . . ‘American Dragon’ Bryan Danielson!!!!
Team Domination backs away smiling as Teddy and Harry check on Storm, who is still down. Danielson is in the ring and doesn’t look happy about the countout victory.
