The show starts off with LANCE RUSSELL showing tape of the NWA World Tga Team champs- The MEGAPOWERS attacking the current National Tag Team Champs-The TEXAS OUTLAWS!
LANCE runds down the show including the main event which is match # 2 of the best of 7 series for the USWA TV title!
1st Match:USWA Tag Team Champions= The MIDNIGHT EXPRESS w/ JIM CORNETTE vs PAT ROSE/TONY FALK
ROSE and FALK really try here but the MX are one of the greatest tag teams in the world and they show it here as they dominate the match! The ending comes as DENNIS CONDRET hits a russian leg sweep opn ROSE, tags in EATON who hits the Alabama Jam and gets the pin!'''
After the match LANCE is interviewing CORNETTE and the MX when they are interuppted by former NWA World Tag Team champipons- The BRITISH BULLDOGS who throw out a challenge to the MX! CORNETTE doesnt agree to this and starts to in sult the BULLDOGS when DUNAMITE KID slaps the taste outta his mouth and the BULLDOGS leave! The MX trend to their manager as the studio audience cheers!
Up next is an interview wiyh JERRY " THE KING" LAWLER who at furst lets everyone know that EDDIE GILBERT is still at home recovering from neck injuries sustained byu the piledriver given to him by PAUL ORNDORFF! LAWLER then challenges ORNDORFF to a pile driver match where the only way to win is to hit your opponent with that hold !
2nd Match: BUZZ SAWYER vs DON BASS
SAWYER just brutalizes BASS as he kicks,punches, and hits several vicious slams on him ! Eventually BUZZ suplexes him and then hits a frog splash on BASS to get the pin!
BUZZ talks to LANCE and says he is tired of SULLY being a thorn in his side and challenges him to a dog collar match!''
LANCE then announces that USWA'S HALLOWEEN HAVOC will be Halloween Night at the Mid South Coliseum and he'll have the line up at the end of the show!
3rd Match: BRET " The Hitman" HART vs GEORGE SOUTH
A competitive match for a few minutes until BRET shows SOUTH why he is called the excellence of execution! BRET reverses a whip into the corner and back body drops SOUTH as he bounces outta the corner ! BRET then applies the sharpshooter and gets the submission win!
LANCE then interviews and welcomes BRET to the USWA!
BRET says he is happy to be here and looking forwrad to testing his skills here!
4th Match: The BOLSHEVICS w/ JIMMYN HART and IVAN KOLOFF vs DENNY BROWN/ TODD MORTON
The RUSSIANS use their size and strength to overcome the speed advantage of their opponents! VOLKOFF over powers BROWN by clubbing forearms and some vicious kicks before tagging in BORIS who ends things by pinfall after hitting BROWN in the head with a headbutt!
Up next LANCE brings out former NWA TV champ-RODDY PIPER ! PIPER says that since all he does is cause havoc then what better place to cause some more for a certain big, muscleheaded russian tonight at Halloween Havoc!
JIMMY HART comes out and denies PIPER the match saying PIPER is a has been! IVAN KOLOFF then comes out to interrupt and tells HART to shut up and says NIKTA is afraid of no man, especially one who weras a damned skirt! HART and IVAN exchange words as PIPER laughs at the situation ! However USWA Heavyweight champion-NIKITA KOLOFF makes his way out, grabs HART away from IVAN, gives UVAN an icy stare,grabs the mic from LANCE and says he will accept! NIKITA leaves with HART in tow trying to reason with him! IVAN then follows as PIPER warns the russians that hes coming for that title!
5th Match: " Gentleman" CHRIS ADAMS w/ BUDDY ROGERS/JIMMY SNUKA vs RANDY MULKEY
Just a massacre here as ADAMS just plays with his food before hitting a superkick on MULKEY and getting the pin!
And once again post match, SNUKA and ROGERS enter the ring and it looks like MULKEY is gonna get spalshed by the Superfly but before it can happen STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN runs in and kncoks SNUKA off the top rope, runs in and grabs ROGERS and lays him out with a stunner ! SNUKA groggily gets up off the canvas and his ass gets stunned too! He goes to get ADAMS but CHRIS hauls ass outta the ring and runs back to the safety of the dressing room! As ROGERS and SNUKA slowly recover and head to the back AUSTIN grabs the mic from LANCE and issues a big warning to ADAMS and his crew! AUSTIN is gonna make all three of them pay for hurting him and ADAMS is getting a special can of whoop ass opened on him!
MAIN EVENT
Match # 2 in the best of 7 series which TV champ- BARRY WINDHAM leads 1-0
BARRY WINDHAM (c) vs HHH
This match is another tightly contested one as both men have their ups and downs! The ending comes as BARRY again hits a running bulldog out of the corner but fails to notice HHH draping his leg over the bottom tope right before the three count! BARRY argues with the ref as HH dropkicks him from behind ! HHH the hits the pedigree and gets the pin and we are all tied up at one win apiece!
LANCE RUSSELL then runs down the Halloween Havoc card!
