The show opens up and we instantly hear bagpipes playing and the fans erupt in anticipation........








After a few moments, it's not Roddy Piper that comes out, but instead.........










The live audience peers as McIntyre takes the housemic......


Drew McIntyre: "WHAT?? You was expecting somebody else? You didn't really think that skirt wearing, drag queen..... Roddy Piper,  was going to show up here did you? Well he won't! And I will tell you why...... he fears Drew McIntyre! He knows he's only a Claymore away from losing that world tv title to me! And I plan on taking it from him in Scotland! Then I will roll into the Great American Bash and defend it on every show! But unti then...... I'm ready for a fight! Get somebody out here!"      




  Ricochet vs Drew McIntyre                  

Ricochet hit a jumping kick to knock McIntyre out of the ring. Ricochet with a jumping attack over the top rope onto McIntyre on the floor. McIntyre took over by sending Ricochet ribs first into the top rope since Ricochet had taped ribs on the right side. McIntyre with an overhead suplex on the floor followed by a chop. McIntyre with a belly to belly suplex across the ring. McIntyre decked Ricochet with a hard open hand palm strike. Ricochet fought back with strikes, McIntyre with a boot to the face and a leg drop. McIntyre slapped on an abdominal stretch, Ricochet fought out of it and McIntyre did two hip tosses. Ricochet ran the ropes, headscissors, springboard attack, but McIntyre caught him and hit a back body drop with a lot of height. McIntyre picked up Ricochet and launched him into the turnbuckle for a Buckle Bomb with Drew smiling about it. They left the ring where McIntyre sent Ricochet throat first into the barricade. Back in the ring, McIntyre charged and Ricochet got two boots up to knock him down. When Ricochet went for a move off the ropes, McIntyre hit a jumping kick to knock him down.

McIntyre remained in control with stomps to the head of Ricochet with Ricochet coming back with a sunset flip pin for two. McIntyre sent Ricochet into the turnbuckle. Ricochet avoided another Buckle Bomb with a hurricanrana counter that sent McIntyre into the turnbuckle. Ricochet with a step kick to the chest and then an enziguri kick to the head. Ricochet with a jawbreaker, kick to the face and a roll through into a dropkick. Ricochet came back with a springboard clothesline as well as a Lionsault off the middle ropes for the two. McIntyre with a running back elbow followed by a reverse Alabama Slam that led to Ricochet bumping onto his chest, which got a two count for McIntyre. There was a headbutt from McIntyre followed by a spinning lariat for a two count. McIntyre wanted a superplex, Ricochet punched him and then McIntyre threw Ricochet across the ring while Drew was upside down. McIntyre charged, but Ricochet stopped him with a jumping kick to the head. Ricochet went up top, he grabbed the ribs and missed a 450 splash out of the corner because McIntyre moved. Drew hits the Claymore and gets the victory!

Match Two: Tully Blanchard w/Baby Doll vs Verne Deaton    

Blanchard works the arm while Gorilla and Heenan discuss how winning the Gateway Tag Title with Randy Orton has impacted on Blanchard’s lifestyle. A slingshot suplex gives Blanchard the victory.



 Gene Okerlund: "Easy work for one Tully Blanchard this week. But you had to see the tag team gauntlet match last week..... where The Chosen Bros, Matt Riddle and Jeff Cobb, reigned victorious and are now the number one contenders to your titles!"                





"Tully Blanchard: "If I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times..... I've never wanted these tag team titles! And I sure don't want Randy Orton as a tag team partner! The man is riding my coat tails all the way to the bank. And there isnt......"              



Blanchard is interrupted by the appearance of.......





Paul.Roma: "Your not going to have to worry about The Chosen Bros, Tully! As a matter of fact, you won't be teaming much longer with Orton either!"        

 Tully Blanchard: "And do tell..... why is that?"                

  Paul.Roma: "Because your looking at the men who are going to take them from you!"                      

Tully Blanchard: "You know Roma, you have always been nothing more than a wannabe! When in all reality..... your a never have been! I just made short work out of my opponent..... I have more left for you! Let's do this right now!"                  



Power and Glory huddle up and have a conversation as Baby Doll leaves the ring towards the dressing room area. Herc and Roma start circling around Tully, about to attack when Baby Doll comes back to the ring with....... Randy Orton!

Orton slides into the ring. Tully looks at Orton, and Orton nods his head. Tully stares at Roma then Tully rolls out of the ring leaving Orton alone with Power & Glory! Herc and Roma attack Orton and put a beatdown on him as Tully laughs on in the entrance way. Security rushes out to break up the melee.

Gene Okerlund: "Welcome back fans! I'm being joined now by Mr. Perfect! Some weeks back, your Father, Larry the Axe, was attacked by Bobby Heenans paid henchman! Can you give us an update on his well being?"          

 Mr. Perfect: "MY Dad Is going to be just fine Gene! Alot better shape than what I'm going to do to MJF and Heenan when I get my hands on them! But I know Heenan and how he operates. I'm never going to get a fair fight! So this is how it's going to go down...... right here next week...... I challenge MJF to a match...... inside a steel cage! If he wins, I will leave Gateway forever! But..... if I win...... I get Bobby Heenan inside that cage alone..... for 5 minutes!                    

Gene Okerlund: "OHHHHHH MY! Gorilla, I know you and The Brain are at ringside and heard this challenge!"                    

 Gorilla Monsoon: "We certainly are Gene! Brain..... it looks like your are in a lot of trouble!"                

 Bobby Heenan: "NOW HOLD ON A MINUTE! I NEVER ACCEPTED THAT CHALLENGE! IM THE BRAIN! I DONT DESERVE TO BE LOCKED UP IN A CAGE LIKE SOME FILTY ANIMAL!"              

 Gorilla Monsoon: "Looks like you better take that up with MJF! Because the match has indeed been made official and it will happen right here next week!"                

 Bobby Heenan: "I don't have to stand for this! I'm outta here! Where's my lawyer????"

  Match Three: "Dr. Death" Steve Williams vs Dick Murdoch for the Gateway Tv title                

Doc looks to attack Murdoch's arm as Murdoch misses twice with bionic elbows that were targetted for Doc's arm. Murdoch finally hits his target and stomps on Doc. Williams writhes in pain and tries to take a walk. Out of desperation, he sends Capn Redneck into the post arm first and now both are left with injured arms.  The match picks up back from Capn Redneck smashes a mic stand into Doc's arm. Murdoch uses it whenever he gets into trouble. Gorilla finally moves it and Murdoch ends up getting the bell and using that. Doc fires up and nails the Oklahoma Stampede to get the win and retain his title!





After the match, Doc grabs the housemic and talks about the Great American Bash coming up. Doc says he's willing to defend his Gateway tv title against anyone!  This brings out........







The crowd erupts as Walter stands in the isle staring Dr. Death down in the ring as it looks like Dic's challenge has been answered!





***COMMERCIAL BREAK ***





We come back from break and see Roman Reigns making his way to the ring......





 Roman Reigns:  "I'm gonna be real honest with you people...... Gateway owner, Mike Smith,  wanted me to have a match here tonight. But I asked him why bother...... just so The House of Black can interfere and attack me again? Instead, I told Mike that I will do him one better! So House of Black....... here I stand boys! Come get some!"        



After a few moments the House of Black slowly make their appearance!





They slowly move towards the ring as Monsoon wonders on commentary if Reigns is crazy trying to take on all three members of The House. Then the lights go off and the arena is dark. But this time, when the lights come back on, we see.........






THE SHIELD!!!!



The House of Black can't believe their eyes as the fans nearly blow the roof off the arena as The Shield stands tall in the ring! Roman grabs the housemic and tells The House of Black to be ready at The Great American Bash as show fades to Black!
