MLW Fightland #43

FROM DAW: Relentless (Top Secret):

Jey Uso keeps up the pressure on Moxley in the crowd. Eventually though Kanyon catches up to him and the 2-on-1 assault is too much for him to deal with. They drag Jey Uso over to the area of the DAW Arena that houses the Raven's Nest (The balcony where The Conspiracy hang out). Moxley says they're going to throw his ass off there. They set up two tables, but then Solo Sikoa comes out of the crowd and hits Moxley with a Samoan Spike! Kanyon tries to attack Solo, but gets a Samoan Spike as well! Solo rolls both men onto the tables and gets Jey Uso back on his feet. Solo Sikoa pulls out duct table and begins taping Kanyon and Moxley to the tables so they can't move! He then tells Jey Uso to go up to the Raven's Nest. Jey Uso ascends the balcony and then dives off with a Uso Splash to put both Kanyon and Moxley through the tables!

As the camera comes up on shots of the crowd, we start the show with the music of the Bloodline hitting and here comes Roman Reigns, the Usos and Solo Sikoa accompanied by Paul Heyman …. The USOs are showing the signs of the war they just went through with Jon Moxley and Kanyon in a tables match at DAW …. Reigns is walking with a purpose ….


Heyman has the mic ….

HEYMAN - “Ladies and gentlemen …. (*fans chant along*) My name ….  Is PAUL … HEYMAN!  And I serve as the wiseman, the special council to …. “

Reigns cuts him off as he holds out his hand, demanding the microphone ….

REIGNS: “You know how this works.  You know when The Bloodline comes to FIGHTLAND it’s a big deal.  When the High Chief is in the house, business picks up.  So … ACKNOWLEDGE ME!”


Reigns soaks it up as the crowd throws up their 1’s to the sky in acknowledgment of Reigns ….

REIGNS: “Now, over the last 2 years your High Chief has faced a lot of adversity.  My family has suffered a lot of turmoil.  We’ve been at war with the Undisputed Era, we’ve been at war with the Tongan Uprising, and now The Conspiracy.  But I’ve risen above it all!  You understand, that when your Bloodline sits atop the entire industry, everyone is going to come for you.  Everyone is going to try to knock you off the mountain.  BUT WE ARE THE MOUNTAIN!”

“Raven …. You should be proud.  I usually don’t sweat people like you, because you are beneath me.  But you’ve done something no one else has been able to do and that is knock the High Chief down.  Yeah, I’m a man and I can admit that you’ve knocked me down lower than I’ve ever been.  But the High Chief doesn’t stay down.  Being a victim isn’t in my DNA.  I told you I was going to take back all the things you’ve taken from me, a piece at a time if I had to.  It started with your scalp, it will continue with my brother next week, and then it ends with the world title at Wrestlemania.  Because IT’S MINE!  It’s always been mine!  And you’ve been walking around with it since GLORY, but it’s time to correct that mistake ….”


“You see, what you don’t understand is that I didn’t just feed my kids with that title …. I fed our entire family with that title …. The High Chief IS the main event.  It’s where I belong because the UWF knows that I’m the one that moves the needle.  You say maybe we are destined to fight forever.  Well, understand this:  when we get to Wrestlemania, I am going to end this.  Because when the lights shine the brightest, the High Chief rises to another level …. I’m already levels above, but on the biggest stage I’m in GOD mode!!!!  And you will ACKNOWLEDGE ME!!!!….”

All this time, Paul Heyman is standing over in the corner looking concerned …. Reigns looks over to see him standing there and seems surprised ….

HEYMAN: “My High Chief, if I may …”

REIGNS: “Speak your mind, wise man.”


HEYMAN: “My High Chief, there is no doubt you are everything you say you are, but I have known Scott Levy for 20+ years and he doesn’t respect that.  He doesn’t respect ANYTHING.  If you are going to beat him, you are going to have to be MORE.  You can’t just be Roman Reigns, the High Chief.  You are going to have to be the most savage, most violent High Chief than you ever have been.  Even more violent than you were LAST YEAR at Wrestlemania when you defeated Andre the Giant and were the Last Man Standing!  Even more savage than you were in Tribal Combat!  You are going to have to show up and be a Roman Reigns like never before.  A dangerous, diabolical, conquering, victimizing Samoan savage so that, at the end of the night they have no choice but to stand there and say “Your Winner, and NEW undisputed heavyweight champion of the world!  The ultimate needle mover, the Head of the Table, YOUR High Chief … in GOD mode himself …. Rooooommmaaaaannn Reeeeiiiiggnnnnssss!!!!”


Reigns’ music hits and Reigns stares down the camera, fired up by Heyman’s speech, as his music hits ….

We cut to ringside with the voices of the FIGHTLAND commentary team of JOE ROGAN, DANIEL CORMIER and JON ANIK ….


They discuss the show opening and the intense words from Reigns …. They reference the USOs beating Moxley &amp; Kanyon in a tables match on the recent episode of DAW plus Solo Sikoa battling Matt Anoa’i on MLW #88 …. It was announced this past week at the Wrestlemania Kickoff special in Dallas, Texas that the main event of the show will be the rematch between Roman Reigns and Raven for the UWF world heavyweight title …. But before that, Reigns will fight his own brother, Matt Anoa’i this week at MLW #89 ….

Quinn McKay is with Matt Riddle …. Riddle is not all ‘Broooo’ like he normally is, and instead shows frustration about his recent losses …. The Bro-serweights got their reunion, but now ‘Stallion Pete’ (Pete Dunne) is on the shelf again with an injury ….

Ricochet comes in and interrupts the interview, but Riddle says now is not the time  …. Ricochet says he is frustrated too, because he signed his MLW contract and hasn’t been on TV …. He hypes up Riddles accomplishments including the UFC and puts him over as a legit fighter and he suggests they have a match and go out and tear the house down tonight …. Show everyone how good they are ….Riddle is down with it and accepts …. </p></center>





Quinn McKay comes out to meet Mercedes as she makes her way to the back, and asks her if she wants to comment on attacking Charlotte Flair last week …. Mercedes says “Not Yet” and walks past Quinn to the back ….

Tessa Blanchard is shown watching on a monitor in the back …. Charly Caruso says she just recently signed her MLW contract, when can we expect her to step into an MLW ring for the first time …. Tessa says she is looking forward to testing herself against MLW and SHINE’s best competition, and she name drops Deonna Purazzo, Mandy Rose and Mercedes Mone while also talking about young talent like Lyra Valkyria, Roxanne Perez and Willow Knightengale …. She has been world champion, and she’s looking to get back there but her immediate goal is the MLW women’s ….

Someone clears their throat off-camera, and Tessa looks over to see ….



JADE CARGILL!  Tessa comes face to face with Jade, who just smiles at her …. Tessa asks if Jade has something to say, but Jade just rolls her eyes and walks off …. </p></center>


Up next, we get the arrival of Bomaye Fight Club (Drew Gulak, Julius &amp; Brutus Creed) …. Gulak calls out Trick &amp; Melo and say they are worried about singles matches when they SHOULD be worried about the Creeds …. He starts to go over their accomplishments, but he gets cut off as Trick &amp; Melos music hits …. The champs come out and we get a confrontation, and Trick says they ain’t scared of any team out there …. THE LIGHTS GO OUT!  We then see Julia Hart come out on the stage ….


The House of Black is here!  Malakai Black talks about how dominant they have been and says they are undefeated …. They have built a resume 2nd to no other team and the MLW tag team titles belong to them!  Gulak says the Creeds are undefeated too … Trick &amp; Melo start jawing with the House of Black, which pisses Julius off and he grabs the mic from Gulak …. If the House of Black thinks they deserve the shot more than them, then prove it in the ring!  They challenge to the House of Black to a match in the main event tonight!!!! ….
