Simply put, this spotlight is too bright for you sweetheart and what I am gonna do tonight is drag your 6 ft ass out to deep waters. And when it’s all over with and I prove once and for all that you can’t swim, I’ll have what I rightfully deserve and that is the MLW Women’s title! |

We start out with SAMOA JOE coming out and reiterating his open challenge again …. Backstage, it shows Roderick Strong watching on a monitor and he is preparing to come out to accept the challenge but before he can …. ‘PERSONAL JESUS’ by Marilyn Manson hits and instead AUSTIN ARIES debuts to accept the challenge of Joe!!!!  Samoa Joe vs. Austin Aries ----- Openweight title match
Aries starts off hot and attacks Joe right away …. Joe catches Aries coming in and plants him with the S-T-JOE and we are back to square one …. We get some trading holds on the mat, but Joe uses his power to get the advantage …. Joe mauls Aries with strikes and his signature combos …. Aries comes back with a dropkick to the knee …. Aries zeroes in on the knee, but Joe hits an enziguiri …. Joe hits the Face Wash in the corner, but Aries hits Joe with the rolling 5 arm as Joe goes for the Elbow Suicida! Joe falls to the outside, allowing Aries to wipe him out with the Heat Seeking Missile …. Back in the ring, Aries runs right into a snap powerslam and both men are down …. Aries reverses a powerbomb into a rana, then hits two IED’s in a row(running corner dropkick) …. BRAINBUSTER! Instead of covering, Aries goes to the top and tries the 450 splash! JOE MOVES OUT OF THE WAY! Joe hits a series of strikes that rock Aries, then he sits him on the top rope …. MUSCLE BUSTER! 1 … 2 … Noooo! Aries kicks out! Joe goes for the Coquina Clutch, but Aries escapes by rolling back into a pinning position! JOE BARELY KICKS OUT! Aries rolls to his feet and hits a soccer kick to the head of Joe! Joe snaps and no sells it, flying into a rage and just lighting Aries up with HARD strikes! Aries appears to get KO’d during the attack and he goes limp, but Joe scoops him up and drills him with the Island Driver to finally put him away to go 4-0-1 in title defenses …. VIDEO PACKAGE –
We get a video recap of the Johnny Gargano & Tomasso Ciampa vs. Southern Fried Homicide feud to hype their rematch for the UWF tag titles at MLW #42
• Gargano & Ciampa win the tag team battle royal at the HIPPO to earn the tag title shot at GLORY ….
• Southern Fried Homicide confront Gargano & Ciampa, with Johnny taking exception to the fact that James Storm ignores him and offers a beer to only Ciampa … (MLW #37)
• Gargano follows Storm & Grimes to a liquor store and attacks them while Candice films the altercation on her cell phone (MLW #39)
• Ciampa saves Gargano from an attack from SFH, leading to Gargano def. Grimes in the main event …. Gargano & Ciampa would lay out the champions and stand tall with the UWF tag belts to end the show (MLW #39)
• Southern Fried Homicide sows dissension between Gargano & Ciampa by saying Ciampa privately apologized for the attack, leading to Johnny attacking Ciampa (MLW #40)
• After somewhat making amends, Johnny & Ciampa would defend the MLW tag titles against Redragon, only to have Southern Fried Homicide attack them during the match, leading to them losing the tag belts …. Storm would then bust a beer bottle over the head of Gargano post-match(MLW #40)
• At GLORY, Ciampa & Gargano appeared to win the UWF tag titles, but Mickie James would put Grimes’ foot on the ropes AFTER the pin, confusing the ref and leading him to restart the match …. Storm & Grimes would retain the tag titles after Storm hit Ciampa with one of the UWF tag title belts ….
• Donald Trump booked a rematch for the titles to take place at MLW #42, urging the team to put their differences aside and bring the world titles to MLW ….Tegan Nox vs. Xia Li w/ Boa & Mei Ying
The feud began with Li and Dakota Kai during the Queen of the Ring, then continued with Li injuring the leg of Kai in their match …. Tegan came to the defense of her best friend, leading to this match:
Li goes after Nox at the start, but Tegan fires back with some arm drags and a dropkick …. Li cuts her off with a knee strike to the ribs …. Tegan cuts Xia off with a jawbreaker, then fires up with some clotheslines …. Tegan goes up top and hits a high cross body for a 2 count …. Xia with a hiptoss that sends Tegan into the buckles, then she is going to stomp on Tegan’s leg like she did with Dakota Kai, but here is Dakota Kai on crutches and she smashes Xia Li across the back with the crutch! The ref calls for the bell! POST MATCH: Tegan and Dakota double team Xia, but Mei Ying sends Boa to the ring to make the save for his sister …. Dakota hits Boa with the crutch, and Tegan follows up by hitting the Shiniest Wizard on Boa!!!! This allows Xia to KO Tegan with the Black Mass kick! Xia and Dakota brawl up the ramp to where Mei Ying is seated on her throne, with Dakota getting the better of the fight …. Dakota comes face to face with Mei Ying, and she talks some shit to Ying, WHO BLOWS SMOKE IN HER FACE! This disorients Dakota Kai enough for Xia to nail her with the kamigoye and lay her out! Boa joins Xia Li as they stand with Mei Ying on the stage …. IN RING SEGMENT Donald Trump comes out and it is time for the reveal of the HIGH STAKES briefcases …. He starts to introduce the case winners, when … ‘SHOCK … THE SYSTEM!’ Out comes the Undisputed Era led by MLW Champion Adam Cole … Who cares about Trump’s stupid briefcases when there is a madman on the loose in MLW …. He is talking about Killer Kross …. Kross keeps attacking the UE, and he attacked Cole after his match with Rex Steiner at MLW #41 …. He demands that Trump do something about that lunatic and says he should be locked in a cage or something …. Trump agrees, saying that is a great idea …. He is going to lock Kross in a cage, but Adam Cole is going to be in there too when he defends the MLW title against Kross in a cage match!!!! Cole is FURIOUS! Trump tells him to get out of his ring and never to interrupt him again …. The UE leave as we go to a video package …. We get a highlight package of the HIGH STAKES 2021 match …. Shane Taylor, who wasn’t even in the match originally, attacked Luchasaurus and stole his spot in the match, pulling down the first case …. The other winners were Josh Alexander, Will Ospreay and Davey Boy Smith Jr. ….• Back to the ring, Trump now brings out the winners for the briefcase reveal ….
• Davey Boy Smith Jr. opens his case, and it is an Openweight title contract ….
• Josh Alexander opens his, and it is the contract for the MLW tag team title shot …. Alexander, Ethan Page and Bobby Roode celebrate and leave …. Now it is down to Will Ospreay and Shane Taylor …. The tension is high as Ospreay doesn’t want to wait anymore and opens his case …. OSPREAY HAS THE CONTRACT FOR THE MLW TITLE SHOT! Reality slowly sets in for Taylor, who forced his way in and was the first man to grab a briefcase …. NOW IT IS CLEAR THAT TAYLOR HAS THE BRIEFCASE WITH THE PINK SLIP IN IT! Taylor refuses to open the case, and says no one can make him open it …. He throws it down, but Trump picks it up and opens the case for him …. Trump uses his old ‘YOU’RE FIRED! line from the Apprentice …. Taylor goes on a rant, running down Trump as a racist and running down the concept of the High Stakes match in general …. He says that he wasn’t even supposed to be in the match to begin with, so it’s invalid. Trump tells him again he’s fired, and Taylor says that it is all because of ‘systemic racism’ and says something about George Floyd …. Security tries to escort Taylor to the back, but Taylor starts fighting them …. Here is Luchasaurus! He’s the man that Taylor took out and claimed his spot in the match! Luchasaurus nails Taylor with a spin kick, knocking him out and allowing security to take him away …. VIDEO PACKAGE –
We get a video recap of the Deonna Purazzo/ Alexa Bliss feud that started back during the summer
• Purazzo forces UWF Womens champion Alexa Bliss to tap out in a match where UWF Women’s tag team champions Valifornia (Chelsea Green & Deonna Purazzo def. UWF Womens champion Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross …. As a result of the win, Deonna Purazzo earned a future UWF Women’s world title shot …. (UWF Great American Bash All-Stars)
• Due to an arm injury suffered at the hands of Purazzo in that match, Alexa Bliss loses the UWF Women’s title to Asuka …. Bliss blames Purazzo for costing her the title, while Purazzo takes credit for the loss ….
• Bliss attacks Purazzo, causing her to lose to UWF Women’s champion Asuka (MLW Great American Bash)
• As a result of the interference, Bliss & Nikki Cross are added to the UWF Women’s tag team title match later in the night, and Purazzo’s obsession with Blliss leads to Valifornia losing the UWF Women’s tag titles to THEE WICKED …. (MLW Great American Bash)
• Purazzo enters the Elimination Chamber Match, eliminating former Women’s Champion Beth Phoenix and Alexa Bliss via submission …. After being eliminated, Bliss would return and attack Purazzo, leading to her being pinned by Chamber winner, Indi Hartwell ….. (UWF HIPPOPOTAMUS)
• With her arm in a sling (again), Alexa Bliss confronts Purazzo on MLW TV …. Bliss swerves Purazzo, producing a lead pipe hidden in her arm sling and hitting Purazzo in the face with it! Purazzo would suffer a broken nose and fractured orbital bone, forcing her to relinquish the MLW Women’s title …. (MLW #36)
• Now wearing a phantom of the opera-style protective mask, Purazzo attacks Bliss during an interview and challenges her to a singles match at GLORY (NOW! Wolf’s Den #15)
• Alexa Bliss def. Deonna Purazzo via submission when Bliss rips the protective mask off and targets the facial injuries of Purazzo, injuring her once again …. (UWF GLORY)Up next, MIRO comes out on the ramp and is interviewed by Michael Cole …. MIRO – “Matthew, I told you last week that you would be ‘redeemed’, and now you have been. Redemption comes only after agony. I want this world to understand a few things about me. To remember who I am. I told Donald Trump when I signed my MLW contract that I wasn’t going to wait. This is the word of the Redeemer.”Out of nowhere appears Matt Riddle!!!! Riddle attacks Miro and they brawl but are separated …. Riddle gets in the ring and says Miro beat him last week, and that’s cool bro, but this fight aint over …. Miro is held back by officials, but he accepts Riddle’s challenge for a rematch ….  Raquel Gonzalez w/ SoCal Val vs. Becky Lynch ----- MLW Women’s title match
Bianca BelAir comes out prior to the match and adds guest commentary to the match …. BelAir makes it clear she wants to challenge the winner for the title ….
Gonzalez with the power and she dominates early in the match …. Boot to the face sends Becky down, but she fires back with a missile dropkick and then runs wild with a series of legdrops …. They brawl to the floor and Becky jumps off the apron onto Gonzalez but she catches her in a bearhug and then rams her back-first into the ring post …. Becky dodges the Clothesline from Hell and Gonzalez smacks the ring post instead, so now Becky has a hurt back and Gonzalez has a hurt arm …. Becky works the arm, but Raquel stops all of it with a big boot …. Gonzalez drops repeated elbows but can only get a 2 count …. Becky fires back with forearms but Gonzalez hits an alley-oop powerbomb dropping Becky throat-first onto the top rope …. Tequila Shot (TKO) attempt by Gonzalez but Becky elbows out of it and goes for the disarm-HER but Gonzalez fights it off …. Gonzalez goes for the Chingona Bomb but she can’t lift Becky due to the injured arm …. Disarm-HER locked in but Gonzalez has to grab the ropes to break! …. Becky refuses to let go, forcing the ref to pull her off! Gonzalez goes for a big boot but Becky ducks and she takes out the ref instead! Becky with the Finish-HER (Curb Stomp) on Gonzalez and has the pin but there is no ref! BelAir leaves the announce table and tries to get the ref back in the ring, but when Becky sees this she gets pissed and shoves BelAir away! Gonzalez grabs Becky from behind and throws her into BelAir, sending BelAir crashing into the ring steps! …. Gonzalez with the powerbomb on Becky onto the ring apron! She tosses Becky back in, then grabs the ref and tosses her back in as well …. the Chingona bomb finishes Becky to retain the title ….  | |
