1. X1 Block A: Kenny Omega (2 Pts) vs Uhaa Nation (0 Pts)
(Uhaa comes out with his knee heavily bandaged. He shakes the hand of Kenny before the match. Omega asks if he's knee is ok. Uhaa tells him don't hold back cause he wont. Match is pretty clean affair but Uhaa is hampered by his nee. While he still can do his power moves his agile portion of offense is non-exixtant. After a Fallig Powerslam. Uhaa tries to climb the ropes for a Moonsault but its taking him too long to get up the ropes. Omega slips uderneath him am delivers the One-Winged Angel for the victory.)
Winner: Kenny Omega +2 Pts
(After Lauren asks Uhaa if he can continue in this tournament. He says if he can stand, he will fight. The crowd give him a round of Applause. Kenny gives Lauren a wink before exiting.)
2. X1 Block B: Rich Swann (0 Pts) vs Juice Robinson (0 Pts)
(Fast paced exciting affair. Juice seems to use a bit of MMA influenced offense. Throwing a few low kicks and elbows. Swann catches him with a series of Dropkicks. He goes for a German Suplex but Robinson counters into a Juice Maker. Swann is near the ropes and gets a fortunate break. Robinson hits a Spinning Slam then goes for a Lionsault but misses. Basement Dropkick by Rich. Springboard 450 for the 3 count.)
Winner: Rich Swann +2 Pts
3. X1 Block A: Rusev w/Lana (0 Pts) vs Bad Luck Fale (2 Pts)
(Two big, strong, mean men do battle like War of the Gargantuans. Fale hits a Side Suplex then goes up for a Splash. But misses! Rusev applies the Accolade until Fale can take no more.)
Winner: Rusev +2 Pts
(After the match Lauren tries to Interview Lana.)
Lana: VNIMANIE! All you people thought it was so funny when Dolph Ziggler interfered in our last match. I want to see how much you laugh when the Bulgarian Brute, Rusev, crushes the puny American and takes his title from him.
4. Sassy Stephie vs Melissa Anderson
(Sassy is without her partner tonight and it showed as Anderson controls this most of the way. Sassy is able to catch Melissa with an enzuguiri. She tries to connecvt o Kiss My Sass (Inverted overdrive), but Anderson had the move scouted and countered into an Air Raid Crash. She hits a Gutbuster/ Dutwrench Suplex combo. Then delivers a Curb Stomp. 1.. 2.. 3!)
Winner: Melissa Anderson
5. X1 Block B: Tama Tonga (0 Pts) vs Raven (2 Pts)
(Tama is wearing his face paint and his Bullet Club Shirt to the ring. Raven who has his shoulder taped up but its not seen due to him wearing a T-Shirt himself. However Tama must have inside information because he goes right after it. Hitting tomahawk chops to it. Action spills to the floor where Tama sends Raven shoulder first into the ring steps. Raven rallies back and hits the Corner Lariat/ Bulldog combo. Tama hits a jaw breaker though. They go back and forth a bit before Raven ducks a Clothesline, hits a Neckbreaker. then finishes him with the Evenflow DDT.)
Winner: Raven +2 Pts
(After Lauren Brooke asks Raven about the shoulder but Raven gives one of his cryptic promos instead. Talking about rising above calamity.)
6. X1 Block A: Hiroshi Tanahashi (2 Pts) vs Moose (2 Pts)
(Tanahashi has a tough time trying to counter the power of Moose early on. He tries a dropkick with no effect. So Hiroshi decides to make this a mat battle. Moose is at a big disadvantage off his feet as Tanahashi is tying him up in knots. Tana has a neck crank on Moose and he just powers up ad delivers a Pop-up Clothesline. He covers for 2. He goes for the Spear but Tanahashi counters into a Triangle Choke. Moose can't escape! He taps!)
Winner: Hiroshi Taahashi +2 Pts
7. X1 Block B: Mil Muertes (2 Pts) vs Muhammad Hassan w/General Skandor Akbar (2 Pts)
(Fans hate both men but Mil possibly a little less. MM uses a straight forward high impact style. While Hassan has a more technical background but a mean streak a mile long. Neither man can gain any sustained advantage here. Hassan hits a vertical Suplex but Muertes just stands right back up and drops him with a big boot to the face. Powerbomb by Mil for a 2 count. Akbar is pacing the outside yelling in Arabic. Mil wants the Flatliner but its countered and Hassan hits the Arabic Drop (Spinning Front Facelock Elbow Drop). He covers for 2. Hassan sends Mil into the buckle and charges but is dropped by the Deadly Right Hand. Hassan is on dream street... Spear by Muertes! He hits the Flatliner! 1.. 2..
The ref is pulled out the ring by Skandor. The ref s shocked and then gets angry and calls for the bell.)
Winner by DQ: Mil Muertes +2 Pts
(Akbar is livid. Screaming at the referee. Lauren questions the referee, Paul Turner on his decision. She mentions how this has happened other places in the UWF without a DQ called. He responds that he is the official and Akbar interfered by placing his hands on him, He doesn't care about other places but in XWA that is a Disqualification.)
Main Event: reDragon vs The Usos - XWA Tag Team Championship
(Excellent match with 2 fan favorite teams. Early on Jey almost catches Fish with a Superkick but he evades it as Jey gives a smile. Match continues a While and bobby fish catches Jimmy with a Superkick. He turns to mock Jey but Jey had slipped in the ring and catches Fish with a Superkick. After that the match gets crazy with a bunch of wild spots. Jimmy looks for the Top rope splash but Kyle O'Reilly knocks him off the ropes and to the mat. Then they hit Jimmy with Chasing the Dragon. 1.. 2.. 3!)
Winners: reDRagon
(After the match O'Reilly tells Lauren they have been fighting a numbers game from day one. It's time they call in reinforcements.) | |
