Opening Match: JIMMY" BOOGIE WOOGIE MAN" VALIANT defeats a game GEORGE SOUTH after hitting him with a elbow and then pin!
2nd Match: the POWERS OF PAIN make their USWA debut with a devastating destruction of The MULKEYS when the NARBARIAN hits a prone BILL MULKEY with a flying headbutt!
3rd Match: USWA TV TITLE MATCH
Champion: RODDY PIPER vs GINO HERNANDEZ!
GINO has the upper hand throughout most of this contest as PIPER gets frustrated and keeps leaving the ring to gather his thoughts! GINO eventually gets tired of this and follows RODDY to the floor where he beats his ass and tosses PIPER back into the ring! Unfortunantely by doing this, PIPER beats the 10 count and GINO is counted out!
PIPER grabs his TV title belt and heads back to the dressing room amid boos as GINO is arguing with the ref!
The free televised matches are now over and the rest of the card is just for the fans in attendance!
4th Match: KURT ANGLE vs DR. D DAVID SHULTZ
A clash of styles but a very close contest here until KURT eventually catches SHULTZ with some forearm uppercuts which daze the good doctor enough for ANGLE to hit SHULTZ with the Angle Slam and get the three count
5th Match:JERRY " THE KING" LAWLER vs VADER
VADER uses his size and power to his advantage until he misses a corner splash ! LALWER takes over with some solid punches that rock VADER enough for LAWLER to lay him out long enough to climb to the top turnbuckle and come off with a fist drop!
But VADER moves and after LAWLER hits the canvas VADER starts hammering him down to the mat and eventually hits a Vadersault and pins the King !!
6th Match: USWA TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH
The BRITISH BULLDOGS (c) vs The DEVIL'S DUO( SAWYER/SULLIVAN)
About as wild and crazy as you'd expect with the DUO involved but the Champs are on a roll and fight back and take over and eventually DAVET BOY hits SAWYER with a powerslam and gets the pin as DYNAMITE cuts off SULLY from breaking up the pin!
7th Match: JIMMY " SUPERFLY" SNUKA vs JESSE "THE BODY" VENTURA
A wild and wooly one here as both of these powerhouses offset each other thru the match! Some big chops to the chest of JESS put him down on the canvas as SNUKA climbs to the top turnbuckle! But before he can hit the Superfly leap, he is pushed off the turnbuckle from behind as ARN ANDERSON makes a surprise appearance!
JESSE and ARN beat down SNUKA until THE BULLDOGS run down to break it up and make the save! SNUKA has to be helped to the back by the tag team champs!
8th Match:ERIC EMBRY vs "HOT STUFF" EDDIE GILBERT
These two start off brawling from the start and it never lets up! The ref tries to restore some kinda order but has no choice but to disqualify both men!
MAIN EVENT: USWA HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
NIKITA KOLOFF (C) w/JIMMYN HART vs "STONE COLD" STVE AUSTIN
NIKITA uses his power to control the match after SCSA has a hot start which sends the champ reeling!
The crowd is solidly behind AUSTIN as he eventually breaks a bearhug and starts stomping a mud hole in the champ!
A frantic JIMMY HART interferes and gets a stunner for his trouble but when he turns around NIKITA hits him with a russian sickle which knocks AUSTIN outta the ring and SCSA is counted out as NIKITA retains his title!
NIKITA throws his title belt over on eshoulder and his manager over the other as he heads to the back!
A groggy and very angry AUSTIN argues with the ref before hitting him with a stunner...flipping him the double bird and heads to the back!
