LANCE RUSEELL:" Fans, welcome to another exciting edition of USWA wrestling and on Halloween night at the Mid- South Colesium, USWA presents HELLOWEEN and later today in this program we will be giving you the lineup and also as a big thank you toour great fans...the first three matches at HELLOWEEN will be televised live ,RIGHT HERE, ON wmc-tv 5 !!
Alot has been going on in the NWA and to start it off we here in the USWA would like to congratulate WALTER on winning that incredible WAR GAMES match and becoming the new NWA National Heavyweight Champion! And believe you me ,the line to get a shot at the new champ is a long one and you can bet that our own RAZOR RAMON is wanting a shot at the title he came so close to winning!
We also hate to report that JIMMY SNUKA ,once again, was cheated out of regaining the NWA TV Championship as it seems that CHRIS ADAMS ,along with GARY HART;S influence,has now fully embraced his so called change in tactics and will do anything to keep that belt! Let's just hope JIMMY doesn't give up on hos hope to regain that prestigious title!
And speaking of championships,at the big three bight J-CUP in Japan recently new NJPW tag team champions were crowned and lo and behold the winners and new champs are our very own USWA Tag Team Champions-DAVEY BOY SMITH...DYNAMITE KID...THE BRITISH BULLDOGS!!"
The crowd pops as the champs make their way out!!
LANCE:" DAVEY...DYNAMITE....congratulations are in order and i gotta say that was one heck of a win over in Japan!"
DAVEY:" Well LANCE, we appreciate that and you definitely got that right! it was indeed a very hard match and some of theb teams in that were just great! But by the grace of god we were able to pull out the win adn now are the proeud owners of the NJPW Tag Team Titles!"
DYNAMITE:"Thats right DAVEY! It was one helluva battle but the BULLDOGS showed everyone that we are one of if notb the best tag teams in the world ! And we arent gonna sit on these straps or the USWA tag titles as we will face anyone...anytime...anywhere for these belts!
And FREEBIRDS... we are a bit greedy and we have our eyes on you and just remember when its all said and done...our BITE is definitely worse than our BARK!"
tHE CHAMPS WALK OFF TO LOUD APPLAUSE AS THEY CARRY ALL FOURV TITLE BELTS!
1st Match: KURT ANGLE vs PAUL DIAMOND
DIAMOND and ANGLE have a very nip and tuck fight here but the olympic gold medalist pulls this win out after hitting the Angle Slam and submitting DIAMOND with the Angle Lock!
2nd Match: THE DEVIL'S DUO w/ CAPTAIN LOU ALBANO vs THE CONQUISTADORS
Just a massacre here as the DUO both seem focused on reminding everyone just how dangerous they can be!
It ends after BUZZ SAWYER hits a devastating powerslam on one of the masjed men and gets the pin!
THE DUO and ALBANO go over toLANCE!
ALBANO:" Now LANCE RUSELL...did i just here those pups out here running their mouths about how they'll face anyone. ..anywhere... anytime?? IS THE CAPTAIN CORRCT?? Well DOGS,then put your money where your mouth is and put those USWA tag titles on the line against my men on Halloween night at HELLOWEEN! We'll see you there!"
LANCE:" Well i'm sure the champs will have no problem accepting that challenge and what a heck of a match that will be!
Now I want to bring out a man who almost defied the odds and won the J-CUP in Japan and that man is ERIC EMBRY!"
EMBRY comes out to a big ovation and shakes hands with LANCE as he approaches him!
LANCE:" ERIC, i gotta say you had one darned great run over in Japan and surprised a lot of people!"
EMBRY:" Well LANCE thank you but you forgot one thing...i did NOT surprise myself! I jnow what i am capable of and i know my style may not be the flashiest or the prettiest but i can fight and once i hitb younin the mouth,all your best laid plansn gom outbthe window! So whilen many mayn have been surprised,I wasnt in the least bit surprised at how i did! I only made a few mistakes and that cost me but i'll learn from it and be better because of it!"
The crowd boos as out walks EDDIE GILBERT!
GILBERT:" Oh boo hoo hoo! Poor ERIC EMBRY! So close yet so far!! No one wants to hear your excuses or your whinning about what you ALMOST did! Now if youn wanna talk about a real travesty then let's alk about how the Japanese officials and refs were against me from the start ! Now thats a legit issue! And you should be grateful the horseshoe stayed up your ass for as long as it did!"
EMBRY attacks EDDIE and these two start brawling allm over the studio floor! The fightb is broken up by wrestlers from the back and drag both men away!
3rd Match: JESSE VENTURA vs RENE GOULAT
GOULET has no chance as VENTURAjust overpowers him at every move! JESSE eventually softens RENE up and applies an over the shoulder back breaker to get the submission win!
LANCE:" JESSE that was an impressive win but at HELLOWEEN i think you might not have such an easy time!"
VENTURA:" Listen uo banana nose! Things wont be any different at HELLOWEEN when i finally get my hands on monkey boy SNUKA! Yea,he may have a great body but he;s no JESSE VENTURA ! But he epitomizes the all brawn,no brain saying and when he gets in that ring with a man built like me and the brains i have in that sqiared circle then its gonna be another easy victory for THE BODY!"
4th Match: USWA TV Championship: RODDY PIPER (C) vs FRANKIE WILLIAMS!
PIPER is again accompanied with DR D DAVID SHULTZ as he defend sthe belt!
PIPER toys with WILLIAMS and vasically slaps him around like a dog! He even tosses hom outta the ring so SHULTZ has a little fun ! Eventually WILLIAMS is thrown back into the ring where PIPER kicks the crap outta him before pinning FRANKIE to retain the title!
Post match, SHULTZ joins in on PIPER with a beatdown on FRANKIE that is thankfully broken up by GINO HERNANDEZ and PIPER and DR D flee to the back!
5TH Match: STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN vs JESSE BARR
SCSA is opening a few cans of whip ass here as he is kicking the shit outta BARR!
During the match JIMMY HART is out to distract AUSTIN as BARR gets in some offense! But eventually SCSA gets back on offense and one stunner later it is over!
SCSA chases HART into the ring and corners him but before any anage is done NIKITA KOLOOFF attacks AUSTIN from behind and then hits he Russian Sickle on the Rattlesnake which lays AUSTIN out!
The show ends as NIKITA is standing over the prone AUSTIN as JIMMY HART is jumping around like a fn maniac!
