The show opens up and we immediately hear......







And the NWA World tag team champions, The Freebirds make their way to the ring!


Michael Hayes: "All week long all me and Bam Bam have been hearing is how the Road Warriors are here in the UWF and how they won the tournament to face us at Heat Wave! Well I got news for you Jack..... that ain't happening! And I will tell ya why! We called up our Brothers in arms..... Ken Patera and Jerry Blackwell and they couldn't get here fast enough to beat up the Road Warriors again!"      





Michael Hayes: "That's right daddy..... Patera and Blackwell are here and will face the Road Warriors tonight. And me and Bam Bam talked it over..... and in our way of saying thank you once you beat those painted up goofs tonight...... we wanna give you guys the title shot at Heat Wave! So Bill Watts..... pit that in your little bag if tricks and smoke it boy! Nobody messes with The Freebirds!"

  Match One: Tito Santana vs Koko B. Ware            

Handshake to start. Lockup into the ropes and a clean break. Santana with an arm drag, and Koko returns the favor. Santana with a waistlock takedown, but Koko escapes, and we get another handshake. Koko with a takedown, and Santana escapes. They trade wristlocks and hammerlocks, and Santana takes Koko over with a snapmare. Santana with a side headlock, followed by a shoulder block. Koko takes Santana down with a hip toss, but misses an elbow drop, and Santana takes him over with another arm drag. Trash talking and shoves, and Koko pounds away and takes Santana down with a clothesline, then tosses him out of the ring. "Tito" chant as Koko keeps Santana from returning to the ring. Santana fights back with forearms, but Koko counters a monkey flip with an atomic drop, then drops an elbow for a two count. Koko then slapping on a nerve pinch, then drops ass across the neck of Santana. Koko kicks Santana then nails him with a pair of  roundhouse right as Jim Ross says Kokos letting his frustrationget the better of him. They continue to slug it out until Koko puts Santana down with a slam. Koko to the top rope, and he misses a fist drop. Santana with rights and a pair of slams, followed by an atomic drop. Irish whip, and Santana comes off the ropes with the flying forearm for the three count! The ref raises Santanas arm in victory, then Santana offers a handshake once again to Koko who accepts as the fans cheer both men on Christy Hemme joins Tito at ringside......





Christy Hemme: "Another impressive victory for Tito Santana as you continue your undefeated streak here in the UWF. It looked a little tense in there for a while!"            




 Tito Santana: "That's the name of the game! I have no hard feelings toward Koko. He is a gladiator. A man of honor, as he shown at the end if the match....  accepting his defeat like a man. Unlike that Jimmy Garvin. A man with no class or honor. He hangs out with The Freebirds if that tells you anything. And I can't wait to get him in the ring at Heat Wave and shut his big mouth up once and for all. ARRIBA!!!!"

  Match Two: Cactus Jack vs Tim Horner                  

Tie up and Horner is immediately dumped to the floor and suplexed down hard as Jom Ross reminds the tv audience that Cactus won the battle Royale last week fir the right to challenge Chris Adams at Heat Wave for the NWA World tv title. Cactus drops his famous elbow off the apron, and rolls Horner inside. Cactus piledrives Horner for the victory.





 Jim Ross: "I know alot of people may be underestimating Cactus Jack and his chances of winning the NWA World tv title. But I must remind you, this man is crazier than a pet coon and he has no regards for his own well being and I have a feeling that at Heatwave, Chris Adams is in for the fight of his life!"

  Match Three: "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan vs Lance Archer w/Skandar Akbar in a Texas Death Match                

Duggan went after Archer as soon as Archer got into the ring. Duggan with some kendo stick shots, Archer no-sold that and Archer did a running pounce shoulder tackle. Archer hit a cannonball off the apron onto Duggan on the floor. Archer with kendo stick shots to the back. Archer charged, Duggan avoided and Hacksaw tackled Archer through the barricade. They fought into the crowd where they went up the steps near the fans. Duggan with punches and jumped off the steps onto Archer. Back in the ring, Duggan with a clothesline and Archer stopped him with a forearm to prevent a spear. Archer pulled up the mat on the floor. Archer picked up Hacksaw on the floor, Duggan slipped out of it and Duggan hit a DDT on the cement. Archer is busted open! Archer slowly got back in the ring, Duggan had a foreign object and jabbed Archer in the face with it.

Duggan jumping off the middle rope onto a chair that was on the left knee of Archer. The referee counted Archer down, but Archer got back up before the ten count. Archer punched a trash can lid into Duggan’s head. They got into a slugfest with Duggan biting the forehead, and Archer hit a clothesline. Hacksaw with a German Suplex,..... Archer no-sold that, hit a boot to the face and Archer hit a spinning Bossman Slam. Archer hit Duggan in the head with a trash can. Duggan was bleeding too. Archer picked up Duggan going for a Blackout through two chairs, but Hacksaw slipped out and hit a low blow punch. Duggan put the two chairs back to back, but Archer was back up with a Chokeslam that sent the edge of the two chairs into the lower spine of Duggan! Ross pleads for Duggan to stay down on commentary but Duggan got back up before the ten count. Archer with a boot to the face. Archer charged, Duggan hit a huge clothesline and a spear,. Archer got back up quickly. Duggan jabbed Archer in the head with the foreign object. Duggan set up two tables that were on the floor.  Archer used the chair to hit Duggan in the head repeatedly. Archer gave Duggan a Chokeslam through the tables!!!! Duggan was out of it as the referee counted to ten and Archer got the victory!

Match Four: Jim Powers & Paul Roma vs Hart Foundation w/Gary Hart                  

Powers dominates Neidhart and Bret before Bret nails a huge knee to the ribs. Illegal tag team manoeuvres from The Hart Foundation keep down Powers, choke from Bret. Tag to Neidhart, shots to the ribs by Neidhart.  Toss across the top rope, Neidhart and the referee argue. Neidhart stomps on Powers, Neidhart bites the head of Powers. Powers makes the tag to Roma, Roma unloads on The Hart Foundation. The Hart Foundation collide, dropkick to Neidhart. Roma powerslams Bret for two as Neidhart saves the match. Hart Attack behind the referee’s back and The Hart Foundation win! As the replay is being shown, Christy Hemme joins Gary Hart and his Family at ringside.......







  Christy Hemme: "Impressive win for the Hart Foundation here, one week past the beating they put on Jim Cornette and his Midnight Express.  We can now let the fans know that The Midnight Express will defend the UWF tag team titles against The Hart Foundation at Heat Wave!"      





 Gary Hart: "You call it a beatdown....beat down..... we call it a wake up call! For far too long Jimmy Cornette has said his team of the Midnight Express is the best team in all of Wrestling.  But look who stands here beside me..... The Hart Foundation! The people in and around the UWF need to take a good look at what I have done in such a short time frame. Not only do I manage the NWA World tv champion..... Chris Adams. But I have the world's best insurance policy in Abdullah the Butcher! And now, to add the icing to the cake, I have now signed the Hart Foundation to the Hart Family!"  


 Christy Hemme: "You have assembled quite a force to be reckoned with, mo doubt. But I must ask what is the mindset of the World tv champion,  knowing that in just two weeks time, he must defend against the wild and crazy, Cactus Jack?"      


 Gary Hart: "Its just another night at the office! IS Cactus Jack crazy? Yes! Is he unpredictable? Yes! But is he in the league of the world tv champion? Not even close!"

As we come back from break we see Michael Hayes and Terry Gordy joining Jom Ross at the commentary booth.







 Jim Ross: "Now what's the meaning of thos? You guys aren't supposed to be out here!"                  

 Michael Hayes: "When your the world champions..... you can do what ya want Jim Ross! Me and my Brother wanted to come out and get a closer look of the Execution of the Road Warriors!"            



   Main Event: The Road Warriors vs Ken Patera & Jerry Blackwell              


Pateta and Blackwell make their way out as Hayes talks them up on commentary.  Then we hear "Oron Man" blare over the pa system and the Road Warriors storm the ring and attack Patera and Blackwell. Hawk takes Pateta out with a big boot followed by a powerslam from Animal. Now the Warriors double team Blackwell. Animal with a huge flying shoulder tackle sends Blackwell out of the ring. Hawk climbs the turnbuckles as Animal hoists Patera up on his shoulders........ DOOMSDAY DEVICE!! HAWK COVERD PATETA, 1.......2........3!! THE WARRIORS WIN!

Hayes is in total shock and can't believe what he just witnessed as the live audience is going crazy for the Warriors!







 Jim Ross: "WE JUST WITNESSED AN EXECUTION ALRIGHT! BUT IT WAS THE ROAD WARRIORS WHO JUST EXECUTED PATERA AND BLACKWELL! HAYES AND GORDY ARE IN COMPLETE SHOCK AND THE ROAD WARRIORS HAVE A DATE WITH DESTINY IN TWO WEEKS FOR THE NWA WORLD TAG TEAM TITLES! MY GAWD..... WHAT A SLOBBERKNOCKER OF AN ASS WHUPOING THAT WAS!"
