Jim Ross: "Hello wrestling fans and welcome to a huge night in wrestling here in the UWF as we present to you an eight team tournament,  where the winners will go onto Heatwave to challenge The Freebirds for the NWA World tag team titles. And "Cowboy" we know who six of the eight teams are in the tournament.  Can you shed some light on the other two teams?"

Bill Watts: "Certainly can Jim..... I told everyone a few weeks back that there will be some new talent debuting here in the UWF. And that stands true tonight. Your going to see the debuts of Tito Santana and "Gorgeous" Jimmy Garvin as they will team together in a unique pairing. And the team they will be facing?  I'm keeping that a secret. I'm sure it will be a huge surprise for all the fans!"

Jim Ross: "Not only that, we will have a battle royal tonight, and the man who wins that will face the NWA World tv champion,  "Gentleman " Chris Adams at Heatwave for the title! Lots of action fans, that's for damn sure! Let's not wait any longer...... let's get up to the ring for our opening contest!"

Match One: The Steiner Brothers vs The Midnight Express w/Jim Cornette

Scott and Eaton start with a lockup into the corner and Scott tossing Eaton with a hip toss. Eaton with a cheap-shot in the ropes. Crisscross and Scott sweeps Eaton off his feet before turning him over with a single-leg crab. Eaton with another cheap-shot, knocking Scott to the floor. Scott counters a suplex on the floor and sends Eaton into the post. Back inside, Scott whips him into the corner and unloads with mounted right punches. Whip across the ring, but Eaton gets the elbow up to counter a charge. Eaton straddles Scott across the top turnbuckle, but Scott escapes, holds Eaton up in the Electric Chair position, and Rick comes off the top with the flying bulldog but Condrey  pulls Eaton out of the ring for the save before the Steiners cab make the pin.

Condrey in the ring for the first time. Scott takes him over with a snap mare and hooks a chin-lock. Condrey with rights to the midsection, followed by a side-kick. Eaton tags in and runs into the arm drag. Scott with slams on both members of the Midnight Express, and Rick caps it off with a double Steiner-Line!. Condrey begs Rick off before baling to the outside. Eaton offers a handshake, but Rick lays him out with a Steiner-Line!. Rick comes off the ropes with a shoulder tackle, knocking Condrey out of the ring. Eaton with the blind tag but Rick hits him with a forearm. He goes after Condrey again, having not seen the tag, and Eaton recovers, taking him down from behind with a bulldog. Eaton with a short-arm clothesline for two. Condrey with kicks to the midsection and on the chin. Whip to the ropes and he drops Rick with an elbow. Eaton with a thumb to the throat, knocking Rick out of the ring.  Back inside, Rick surprises Eaton with a belly-to-belly suplex. Scott tags in, unloading with right hands and slams.  Match Two: Barry Windham & Dustin Rhodes  vs Terry Funk & Harley Race

The match starts with a bit of a brawl, as theres definitely no lo e loss between these four men, before it comes down to Dustin vs. Race. Harley goes up top and it backfires. Barry Windham gets tagged and wants Funk. Things stay intense as Funk tries a piledriver on the floor but it’s reversed into a back body drop. Shortly after, Funk throws Windham outside, allowing Race to toss him into the guardrail. Windham misses a big lariat and his momentum takes him over and out, where Funk gets in some cheap shots. Funk and Race continue to work over Windham. Windham uses his length to bring in Dustin and he comes in roaring. An elbow earns him two but his next pin is blocked by Funk. Windham then takes Funk out and they do battle on the floor. Inside, Harley turns Dustin inside out with a big clothesline. Now it looks like Dustin may need to make a hotter tag. Funk hits a neckbreaker and DDT, both for two. Dustin gets hit with a third big clothesline from Race. He does roll up Race but only gets 2! Dustin finally nails the hot shot and gets the hot tag. Windham comes in firing away, while Race and Dustin fight outside. Windham goes up top and connects with a flying lariat on Funk to win. Barry and Dustin advance in the tournament.

Christy Hemme: "Welcome back fans! I'm joined now by the UWF Heavyweight champion..... Kerry Von Erich! Champ, this is the first time we have seen you since the night of the vicious attack from Lex Luger. You have had some time to reflect.  Your thoughts please?"

UWF #24 GNcwrIg

Kerry Von Erich: "Quite honestly..... I think he's a coward! If he wanted a title shot like he said, or if he felt overlooked, then he should have came at me like a man! And your right, I've had a lot of time to reflect over it and all I've thought about is how bad I want to kick his ass! Luger, you want a title shot? Let's do it at UWF Heat Wave!"

Back on the ring we see the unlikely team of Jimmy Garvin and Tito Santana, who seem to be already at words when we hear........

The live crowd goes apeshit as Hawk and Animal..... The Road Warriors make their way to the ring!

UWF #24 FFypCb0

Match Three: The Road Warriors vs Tito Santana & Jimmy Garvin

Garvin is not happy to say the least and exits the ring to the ringaoron, insisting that Santana start the match. Santana knows he's in for a long night and starys out with Animal. While Santana manages to get some offense in...... it's very little! Which upsets Garvin even more, and he drops down off the ring apron and heads to the dressing room, leaving Santana by himself. It's not long from here that the Warriors hit the Doomsday Device on Santana to advance in the tournament.

Jim Ross: "THE ROAD WARRIORS ARE HERE IN THE UWF AND BUSINESS HAS BYGAWD JUST PICKED UP! YOU CAN BET THAT THIS ISNT SETTING WELL WITH HAYES AND GORDY AT ALL AS THE WARRIORS HAVE WANTED TO GET THEIR HANDS ON THE FREEBIRDS FOR QUITE SOME TIME!"

***COMMERCIAL BREAK ***

Match Four: Hacksaw Jim Duggan & Hacksaw Butch Reed vs The Killer Elite Squad w/Skandar Akbar

As soon as the Hacksaws entet the ring, The Elite Squad are all over them as Akbar exits the ring for higher ground as this one is just a damn dog fight! The four men brawl fir several minutes and then the action spills all over the arena. The ref hots the 10 count and calls for the bell....... eliminating both teams!

***COMMERCIAL BREAK ***

Semi -Finals: Barry Windham & Dustin Rhodes vs The Midnight Express w/Jim Cornette

Windham starts off with Loverboy Dennis and holds the early advantage as Jim Ross states on commentary that due to the double countout from the last match, that now puts The Road Warriors in the finals against the winner of this match. Windham throws a bunch of dropkicks on both opponents, two for each to be exact, crowd loves it  then the  Midnights are in control with Condrey holding a chinlock on Windham.

Eaton gets a bit in, tags Condrey back, and Condrey glabs the sleephold. Windham gets out, but Eaton got the tag and keeps Barry from getting to Dustin, sitting on his back with another chinlock.

Midnights cutting off the ring, keeping Windham reeling. Condrey tosses him out over by Cornette who surprisingly keeps to himself and out of the match. Every time Windham gets a breath of hope, the Midnights get right back on top of him and cut him off. He’s making no real progress as Eaton grabs another chinlock.

Windham tries to get to Dustin....... he doesn’t, and Condrey grabs the chinlock. Then after a few minutes People go absolutely off their fuckin rockers for the Dustin hot tag. Dustin hits the bulldog on Condrey but Eaton makes the save! Windham tries to enter to even the odds but the ref cuts him off and the Express hit the Double Goozle on Dustin to get the win. The Express advance to the finals.

***COMMERCIAL BREAK ***

Battle Royal: Winner will face Chris Adams at Heat Wave for the NWA World tv title

Participants include "Gorgeous " Jimmy Garvin who Bill Watts demanded be in the match from his actions earlier...... Kamala......Iceman King Parsons.......  Cactus Jack.....Koko B. Ware......Terry Taylor.......Brian Pillman......and Abdullah the Butcher.

Ross says on commentary that the only reason that Abdullah is in this match is to run interference for Chris Adams. Just your typical battle royal. But halfway through it Tito Santana comes to ringside and has words with Jimmy Garvin who gets distracted long enough to be eliminated by Iceman Parsons. The match continues until the final 4 Participants....... Abdullah the Butcher...... Terry Taylor...... Cactus Jack...... and Iceman Parsons. Taylor and Parsons know they must work as a team to exit the Wildman Cactus and Abdullah from this match. Abdullah does eliminate Taylor though. Then a mishap happens between Cactus and Abby that sends Abby over the top to the floor much to the dismay of Gary Hart. Parsons is all over Cactus now. But his high speed offense backfires and Cactus eliminates him. Cactus Jack will face Chris Adams at Heat Wave for the world tv title.

Tournament Finals: The Road Warriors vs The Midnight Express w/Jim Cornette (Winners will face the Freebirds for the world tag titles at Heat Wave)

Hawk brutalizes Condrey to start until Eaton draws in Animal and kicks Hawk in the head as Jim Ross announces that Bill Watts has just made Tito Santana vs Jimmy Garvin official for Heat Wave!  The MX freakin’ do EVERYTHING possible to control Hawk by pissing off Animal to the point the ref hardly even looks to see what is going on the ring. I mean, the Midnights blast him with Cornette’s tennis racket, throw him over the top rope, choke him out with a chain – pretty much everything but spit on his mother and kick his dad in the balls. Hawk finally gets a boot up off an Eaton charge and makes the MOLTEN hot tag to Animal! He looks to finish off Eaton with a jumping shoulderblock, but ref Randy Anderson is busy with everybody else at ringside! As all Hell breaks loose the crowd begins to buzz as Gary Hart makes his way down the isle, waving for someone in the back. Hart picks up Cornettes tennis racket and blasts Cornette with it in the back! Then out comes........

UWF #24 WvbDadT

BRET HART AND JIM NIEDHART!!!!

Bret and Anvil grab Bobby Eaton and hit their finisher, The Hart attack on him. Gary Hart leads them back to the dressing room. Animal his a huge powerslam on Condrey. Animal tags Hawk, who climbs the turnbuckles...... Animal hoists Condrey up on his shoulders....... DOOMSDAY DEVICE BY THE WARRIORS! 1.......2........3!!! THE ROAD WARRIORS WIN THE TOURNAMENT AND WILL FACE THE FREEBIRDS AT HEATWAVE!

The crowd goes crazy as Hawk and Animal celebrate their win as show goes off the air!

UWF is my favorite Fed at the moment .

MXE is legit .

This team of Rhodes and Windham can beat anyone in any night .

I love that Kerry is a fighting champion .

The Road Warriors are here !!! Well they have to turn up somewhere after getting their asses handed to them by Blackwell and Patera .

Can Cactus beat Adams ?

Gary Hart’s stable has a major upgrade.

Oh shit Birds vs Warriors again . Can Hawk and Animal finally get the monkey off their back ?

Damn good stuff
