Bob Costas : After a two week delay by by network television , we have finally made it . This is your Great American Bash Grand Finale . I’m Bob Costas and joining me tonight is none other than Progress’ own Joey Styles !
Styles : Bob you can feel the excitement in the air . What a night we have in-stored . We will dip first into the main event . I’m just moments we will have the first stage in Undertaker’s Stages of Hell Challenge. Bobby Lashley and Seth Rollins drew the long straws and they will be squaring off in a Falls Count Anywhere Match . The winner moves on to face The Undertaker in a Tables , Ladders and Coffins match later in the show . The winner of that match goes on to face Randy Savage the National Heavyweights Champion whose title is not on the line tonight in a Hell In A Cell Match ! My money is on the invincible Bobby Lashley to walk out as the new NWA World Heavyweight Champion .
Bob : Joey , you just can’t count on the undefeated Undertaker . I think the resilient World Heavyweight Champion walks out with yet another win . What about the Progress match for the Heavyweight Title tonight ?
Joey : Who doesn’t like a good Steel Cage Match . Samoa Joe and champion Shinsuke Nakumura have been on a collision course for some time now . This will be a war ! Bob , the WWF Heavyweight Title is up for grabs as well .
Costas : That’s right , Hulk Hogan who has been put through the wringer by Bobby Heenan and Mr . Wonderful Paul Orndorff finally gets his shot tonight !
Joey : Well let’s not wait any longer this is Saturday Night’s Main Event , this is the Great American Bash Finale and we are about to start stage 1 !
Falls Count Anywhere Seth Rollins vs Bobby Lashley : There is a stare down in the ring . Some trash talking , then Rollins pie faces Lashley . Lashley fires back with a clothesline that turns Rollins inside out ! Lashley presses Rollins above his head and hurls him to the outside . Rollins lands in the first row knocking down some fans who seem to love it . This causes Styles to give out an early “ OH MY GOD !!!!”! Lashley goes out after him . Seth picks up a chair and jams it into the ribs and then Superkicks Lashley back over the railing . Seth pulls Lashley up for a Pedigree , but Bobby back drops out of it !!! Lashley now with a Bridging German Suplex on the MetLife turf for only two . The two men get to their feet and exchange chops across the chest . Seth is in a losing battle as his chest is welling up faster than Lashley’s, so he rakes the eyes and snaps off a DDT . He covers and gets two .
The two men start exchanging punches and end up fighting all the way up the ramp . Lashley with a Powerslam for a two count on the unforgiving metal . Lashley signals for the Hurt Lock , but Seth hits a low blow and then a Bulldog on the steel busting open Lashley ! Seth now goes for a rear naked choke !!! He puts Lashley down to one knee and then two . He lets off the hold . Seth backs up and waits . Lashley is in his hands and knees when Rollins goes for the curb stomp , but Lashley has it scouted and snatches up Rollins and hurls him further up the ramp with an over the head belly to belly !!! Lashley pulls Seth up and Seth gets off a rana that sends Lashley into the back through the curtain . The two men are now in the gorilla position exchanging punches . You can see Nakumura warming up for his match .
The exchange of punches continues until Lashley spears Seth into a steel door that spills out into the parking garage . Bobby crawls to his man and covers 1…….2……. Noooooo !!! Rollins kicks out ! Bobby grabs up Rollins and puts him in the top hood of a Volkswagen Beetle. He is going for a Superplex up there , but Rollins with a knee to the gut hits a facebuster . Lashley falls to the cement !! Rollins dives off the top of the VW ….. FROG SPLASH!!!! He covers 1……..2……..LASHLEY KICKS OUT !!!! The two men get back to their feet and start exchanging punches like it’s a Rocky movie . They fight back through the door , through the curtain back to the ramp way . Rollins hits a Slingblade!! He waits and as Lashley stands goes for the Pedigree yet again! Lashley stops it though and Soears Rollins !! They go flying off the side of a the ramp and land on a big tool box !!! They are both laying there not moving . EMTs rush to their aid . A doctor looks up to at the ref and shakes his head . The ref waves off the match and talks to Jimmy Lennon Jr .
JLJ : Fans referee Nick Patrick via doctor’s orders has rules that neither man can continue . This stage is ruled as a no contest !!!
Joey : What the hell ????
Costas : Both men are hurt ! Joey , what’s going to happen the rest of the way ?
Joey : Well I know NWA Vice President David Crockett is in the building , I guess we wait and get a ruling from him ?
Costas : That’s sound advice. Fans when we come back it’s a steel cage match for the Progress Atlas Title!

Samoa Joe vs Shinsuke Nakamura for the Atlas title (Steel Cage Match)
Both men start the match trying to get the other on the ground, a lot of grappling as they get pinned against the ropes. Joe tries to send Nakamura into the steal but Nakamura blocks it. He then ducks a clothesline and taunts Joe. Joe ends up in the corner and it’s Good Vibrations. Joe gets up and picks up Nakamura in a bodyslam and slams his back into the steel. Nakamura pinned against the cage now and after a series of right hands, Joe splashes Nakamura into the steel.
Nakamura hitting Joe with a knee and then a left kick. Now he drives his knees into the top of Joe’s head as he’s on his knees. Nakamura goes for the inverted Exploder Suplex, but Joe blocks it. He cannot block the German suplex though. Nakamura sets up for Kinshasa, but Joe counters it into a snap powerslam. Nakamura manges to kick out. Both men start trading blows now and Nakamura ends up turning right into the Coquina Clutch! Joe has a standing version of it locked it, Nakamura does the Bret Hart sleeper counter to get Joe off him though. Nakamura with a scissors kick to Joe and then a knee strike to the side of Joe’s head. Joe kicks out at two. Nakamura now goes to escape the cage for the first time, but Joe is behind him and catches him. Joe is going for the Muscle Buster off the second rope, but Nakamura blocks it and sunset flip powerbomb by Nakamura! Nakamura now goes back to the top rope and walks to the middle of the ropes and comes off with a springboard KINSHASA!! Nakamura is too exhausted to make a cover though and crawls towards the door instead. He reaches it, but then looks back at Joe, decides to close the door and comes at Joe with a second KINSHASA!! Nakamura doesn’t look like that’s it though and somehow Joe is still up, so here comes a third KINSHASA!!! Nakamura with the cover, 1......2.......3!!!
AND STILL....... PROGRESS WRESTLING ATLAS CHAMPION....... SHINSUKE NAKAMURA!
Joey : Oh My God !!! What a match !!!
Bob : There was no quit in either man . Right now we got a treat for you . The FCW Tag Team Titles are on the line . This feud got ugly in a hurry . Let’s go to the ring .
FCW Tag Team Titles The British Bulldogs (C) vs The Zambuii Express ( w/ Sir Oliver Humperdinck : In the early going the Bulldogs have their way , getting Kareem in their corner and working over the left arm . Dynamite puts on a Crippler Crossface and Kareem fights to the ropes . When they go to stand up SOH out of the ref’s sight , trips up Dynamite. Kareem drops an elbow and tags in Elijah . Elijah with a chokeslam on Dynamite !!!! He covers , but Davey breaks it up . Kareem tosses Davey out of the ring and SOH kicks him in the ribs !! Dynamite takes a headbutt from Elijah and then Kareem gets the tag .
Kareem comes back in and takes Dynamite’s head off with a clothesline . From there he gets the off a sidewalk slam ! He covers 1…….2……Dynamite gets a foot on the ropes . Kareem tags Elijah back in . Elijah hurls Dynamite into the turnbuckles . He goes for a big splash in the corner and Dynamite moves . Dynamite with a Snap Suplex . He crawls to the corner and makes the tag to Davey . Kareem tackles Davey from behind and rolls out of the ring . Elijah hits a Powerslam !!! 1……2…..Noooooo !!! Dynamite breaks it up . Now Dynamite and Kareem are mixing it up . SOH sneaks in the ring to toss powder in Davey’s eyes , but hits Elijah instead . The ref turns around as SOH rolls out of the ring . Daveyboy with a Bulldog Stampede !!! He covers 1……2….3 !!!!
Bob : And the Bulldogs retain !!!
Joey : Something tells me that the champions haven’t seen the last of SOH or the Zambuii Express !!! When we come back the UWF Heavyweight Title is on the line also we will hear from NWA Vice President David Crockett on what’s going to happen with the NWA World Heavyweight Title tonight . We’ll be back .

Joey Styles : Welcome back fans . I’m here with the NWA Vice President, David Crockett . Sir , I’m told you have a ruling on tonight’s NWA World Heavyweight Title Match .
David : My brother Jim called me immediately after the match with Seth Rollins and Bobby Lashley . We debated back and forth and we decided that we will not deny the fans a chance to see the NWA World Heavyweight Title defended on television and also , 88,000 fans packed MetLife Stadium to see a World Heavyweight Title Match. Jim and I decided that the Tables Ladders and Coffins match between the Undertaker and Randy “ Macho Man “ Randy Savage will be for the NWA World Heavyweight Title!!!
Joey : WOW !!! This is big , now up to Bob Costas .
Costas : Joey , huge news . Fans we have 3 more matches to go and this next match can headline any arena in the country ! It’s the UWF Heavyweight Champion Kerry Von Erich defending his title against the savage Kamala !!!
Kerry Von Erich vs Kamala w/Skandar Akbar fir the UWF Heavyweight title
The bell rings and Kamala walks around the ring patting his belly and letting out an occasional war cry. Kerry dropkicked Kamala who took a powder outside the ring to regroup with Akbar.
Kamala slowly re-entets the ring and when Kerry threatened to apply the claw, Kamala hightailed it out of the ring again.
Back onside again and as they set up for a test-of-strength, Kerry dropkicked Kamala again. He then delivered a discus punch, hit an elbow drop, and followed with a knee drop for 2.
Kamala chops Von Erich and as Kamala applied a double pectoral claw, he got 2. Kerry escaped and nailed Kamala.
While Kerry bounced off the ropes, Akbar tripped him. The ref calls for the bell and Kamala attacks Kerry from behind. Akbar hands Kamala the hammer for the ring bell. Kamala jabs Kerry in the throat area with it. Kamala slams Kerry to the mat. Kamala climbs the turnbuckles! But before Kamala can leap off, in runs Lex Luger with a chair to save Kerry! Akbar pulls Kamala away as Luger holds guard with the steel chair!
Joey Styles: "WE HAVENT SEEN LEX LUGER IN MONTHS! LUCKILY FOR VON ERICH, LUGER IS HERE TONIGHT AND STOPS KAMALA BEFORE ANY DAMAGE CAN BE DONE!"
Inside the ring, Luger calls for the housemic.....
Lex Luger: "While Ive been gone the past couple of months, I've noticed some of you fans talking on social media about how I took my ball and went home! Or perhaps how I think I'm better than the sport of professional wrestling! You got it all wrong! I'm not a bitter man at all. I'm just real proud of the career I've had and the man I am! If you can't understand that..... it's on you. C'mon Kerry, let's get out of here!"
Luger helps Kerry up off the mat and leads him to the ropes but then turns and nails Von Erich with a devastating clothesline! The fans begin booing Luger, who puts the boots to Kerry. Luger nails Von Erich with the steel chair! Luger hoists Kerry up and puts him in the Torture Rack. After a few moments Luger drops Kerry and looks down at him on the mat, smirking, then leaves the ring.
Bob Costas: "What in the world is gotten into Lex Luger? I don't understand!"
Joey Styles: "Irs real simple Bob...... Luger is a disgusting, narcissistic, son of a bitch! He showed us all his true colors here tonight!"
Bob : Fans when we come back it’s time for the WWF Heavyweight Title Match !!!

WWF Heavyweight Title Mr . Wonderful Paul Orndorff ( w/ Bobby Heenan & Andre The Giant ) vs Hulk Hogan : Hogan looks around and realizes the cards are stacked against him . He goes at Orndorff anyway . A double Axe Handle hits it’s mark and knocks Orndorff out of the ring , right on top of Heenan . The fans go crazy . Orndorff slides under the bottom rope and Hogan blast him with a big right hand that sends Orndorff into the turnbuckles . Hogan goes for a vertical Suplex, Andre out of the ref’s line of sight , trips Hogan up . Orndorff lands on top of him and gets 1……..2……..Noooooooo ! Hogan kicks out . Orndorff now lays in an elbow drop to Hogan’s chest and then hits a Powerslam !!!! He gets 1…….2…….Nooooo !!! Hogan kicks our again . Orndorff is now working a sleeper !!! Little by little Hogan begins to fade . The ref checks Hogan’s arm , it falls once . He checks again , it falls twice . He checks a third time and Hogan holds up one finger and waves it . He starts to Hulk Up !!!
Heenan is back up and is now up in the ring apron yelling at the ref . Hogan in the mean time behind the ref’s back gets off a big boot and then the leg drop !!! Hogan covers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 !!! The ref is still distracted by Heenan . Andre is now in the ring . Chokeslam on Hogan !!!! Andre puts Orndorff on top of Hogan . Orndorff has the pin as Heenan jumps down and Andre rolls out of the ring !!! The ref drops and counts 1………2………Noooooo !!!! Hogan kicks out !!! The fans go crazy !!! Hogan feeds off the energy!!! Orndorff kicks Hogan in the gut , bounces his head off the turnbuckle and then goes for a Piledriver !!!! He nails it !!! Hogan’s foot however hits the ref on the jaw and he’s down !!! Orndorff covers you can count to 20 , but the ref is down . Heenan , Andre and Orndorff are now putting the boots to Hogan . Bob Backlund runs down with a chair . He cracks Heenan on the back !!
Andre punches the chair into Backlund’s face and then tosses him over the top rope down to the floor . Orndorff orders Andre outside . He yells to Heenan to “ wake up the damn ref “ !!! Heenan is reviving the ref while Orndorff goes for a Piledriver on the chair , but Hogan backdrops out it ! Hogan with a chokeslam on the chair and then kicks it out of the ring !!! Hogan waits as Orndorff gets to his feet !!! Ace Bomber by Hogan !!!! Heenan waves off Orndorff and he and Andre leave him !!! Hogan covers 1……2……3 !!!!!!!
Costas : And just like that we have a new WWF Heavyweight Champion !!!
Joey : Heenan and Andre just waled out on Mr. Wonderful !! I’m sure they will have hell to pay !!
Costas : I’m sure but Joey this is Hulk Hogan’s moment .
Joey : Yes , taking nothing away from the new champion . He earned this one tonight . Congratulations Hulkster !!!
Costas : When we come back it’s the NWA World Heavyweight Title in a Tables , Ladders and Coffins Match we will explain right after this . We’ll back !!!

Bob Costas : Welcome back . Joey Styles has been with us all night . Joey , Tables Ladders and coffins ?
Joey : Bob toss all that crap out the window here . The ring just happens to be surrounded by tables and ladders which you can just use for the hell of it , if you wish . The real focus is in the coffin at ringside . You have to incapacitate your opponent bad enough to put them in the coffin , slam the lid shut and then push it up the ramp way into the funeral area .
Bob : Well we have the two men who are indeed crazy enough to do this . The National Heavyweight Champion Randy Savage and of course the man whose title is on the line , the NWA World Heavyweight Champion the Undertaker !!! Let’s go to the ring !!! It’s main event time , here on Saturday Night’s Main Event .
Taker and Savage stand in the middle of the ring . Savage takes a shot at Taker with a left jab , but Taker blocks and counters with a hard right upper cut that sends Savage to the mat . Taker stomps away on Savage and then tosses him outside the ring . When Taker goes out after Savage , Randy grabs up a ladder and hurls it at Taker’s face . From there Savage rubs Taker’s face on the ladder . Joey informs us that Taker is wearing a crimson mask . Savage lays Taker out on a table and then comes off top with a double axe handle . Both men lay there for a minute . Savage puts Taker in the coffin .
Taker reaches up and grabs Savage up by the neck . He hits a makeshift chokeslam , driving Savage into the ringpost. He rolls Savage in the ring . Taker sets up a table on the ring and puts Savage on it . Flying leg drop off the top rope by Taker . He pulls Savage up and hits a Tombstone. He grabs up Savage and puts him in the coffin . He slams the lid shut and now starts pushing the coffin up the ramp . Savage gets the coffin lid open and then rakes the eyes !!! The two men battle down the ramp way , exchanging blows , while officials put the coffin back by ringside .
They fight into the ring Taker sets up a table in the corner and big boots Savage through it . Taker now grabs up a ladder . He starts dragging Savage to the top , banging his head on every rung . Savage is now busted open . The two men are at the very top of the ladder . Taker is about to Chokeslam Savage off the ladder , Savage rakes the eyes and then goes elbow smashes Taker in the forehead . Taker falls off the ladder into the coffin . Savage stands on top of the ladder …. Joey yells out , “ OH MY GOD RANDY DON’T DO IT !!!!! ………….FLYING ELBOW DROP OFF THE LADDER INTO THE COFFIN !!!!!! The lid slams shut on both men . The ref stands there looking dumb and confused as nothing is happening . The lid slowly opens ….
Bob Costas : It’s Randy Savage !!!!
Savage slams the lid shut . Every bone and muscle in his body is hurting . Somehow he finds the will to move the coffin inch by inch up the ramp . Savage gets to the top of the ramp and rolls the coffin into the Funeral Area . The ref calls for the bell !!!
Jimmy Lennon Jr : Fans the winner of this match ANNNNNNNDDDDDDDD NEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWW NWA HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WOOOORLD …… RANDY MACHO MAN SAVAGE !!!!!!!
Joey : It’s the end of an era ! The era of Macho Madness begins tonight Bob !!
Costas : Take nothing away from the Undertaker . Who was a great champion .
Joey : Absolutely Bob !
