As the show opens up we see closing moments of the NWA World tv title match from the Great American Bash.......


DDT is countered as Anderson is elevated over the top rope and down to the floor. Adams is in the corner again...... he wants the Superkick! Gary Hart climbs up on the apron. Adams hesitates and looks Hart over then.......smiles at Hart????? ADAMS THEN NAILS SNUKA WITH THE SUPERKICK!!!! 1.......2........3!!!! AND YOUR NEWWWWW UWF WORLD TV CHAMPION........ CHRIS ADAMS!!!!














 Jim Ross: "Hello wrestling fans and welcome to the UWF! I'm your host Jim Ross and what a show we have for you. I'm joined by the owner of the UWF...... "Cowboy" Bill Watts. And Bill the scenery has changed so to speak here in the UWF as we have a brand new UWF TV Champion in Stan Hansen...... a new UWF Heavyweight champion in Kerry Von Erich...... and we seen at the top of the hour, a brand new NWA World tv champion in Chris Adams!"      


 Bill Watts: "We certainly do Jim, and we are going to see some more new faces here in the UWF..... starting tonight! I have signed some if the best names possible to contracts here in the UWF to bring the UWF viewers the best possible action we can! And when they see who some of these guys coming in are..... I think their really gonna be pleased!"          

 Jim Ross: "We will certainly be keeping our eyes out for that. But I can see one person standing in the ring who is new here to the UWF. Our new ringside correspondent. Young lady...... take it away!:








 Christy Hemme: "Thanks guys! It's an honor to be part of the team! But right now I would like to bring out the brand new NWA World tv champion...... "Gentleman" Chris Adams!"          


The fans boo as Adams makes ot about halfway to the ring then stops and looks behind him, waving for someone......and out comes Gary Hart!







 Christy Hemme: "Chris..... congratulations are in order! But what alot of people don't get..... is your new association with this man..... Gary Hart!?"


Chris Adams: "Whats not to get? The man's a winner! I'm a winner! Together, we can't be stopped. Before entering the Bash, I was challenged to stop playing checkers..... and start playing chess! With his brains and my ability..... we plan on having this NWA World tv title for a very long time!"        







The fans pop HUGE as Shelton Benjamin makes his way to the ring carrying his Gold Rush briefcase!





  Shelton Benjamin: "Look at you! Standing out here on cloud nine! Got you a brand new manager and a shiny new belt! Things are going good for you! But there's only one little problem....... I own this Gold Rush contract! Which means I can cash it in any time I see fit! And while your currently living on cloud 9 I know for a fact that the challengers are lining up for you. And here's something I want you to think about...... if Superstar Billy Graham gets you in his bearhug and hurts your back...... I can cash in right there! If Taz locks in that Tazmission..... I can cash in right there...... if Roddy Piper beats you up with a steel chair..... I can cash in right there! So please Adams..... becareful out on that road defending that your title. Because you can bet one thing for sure...... I will be watching! Good luck..... champ!"        


Adams clutches his NWA World tv title and looks at Hart, concerned, as Benjamin takes his leave!

Match One: Iceman King Parsons vs Rip Oliver              

The Iceman slams Oliver and follows with a Japanese armdrag. Chops and headbutts by Parsons, and a clothesline off the second rope gives Parsons the win in his UWF debut!  







The cameras pan backstage where we see Michael Hayes watching footage of Ken Patera and Jerry Blackwell facing the Road Warriors at the WWF Great American Bash show.......







 Michael Hayes: "Hey Bam Bam..... watch this man..... you gotta see this!! Watch right here...... BAM!!! Look at Buddy nailing that Muscle bound freak in the head! I'm so damn proud of Jerry and Patera! Those cats are showing what living on Badstreet is all about!"              


Then we hear a loud knock on the Freebirds dressing room door!



 Michael Hayes: "Get that door would ya? But becareful..... you never know who is on the other side!"                  


  Terry Gordy: "Dammit Michael! Ya gotta stop watching those criminal documentaries! You get the door..... I'm pouring us another round of Jack Daniels!"            


Hayes reluctantly goes to the door and slowly opens it up, where we see.......






Michael Hayes: "JIMMY JAM!!!! HOT DAMN! Look who it is Bam Bam! Garvin is here! What the hell man? What are you doing here?"              


 Jimmy Garvin: "Hey..... it ain't my fault that Bill Watts knows he needs to Amp up the competition around here! If he wants to throw out the big bucks...... I will take his money all day long!"    

 Michael Hayes: "Hot damn it's good to see you! This calls for a celebration! Terry..... we are gonna need more Jack Daniels! You guys get those cameras out of here!!!"

Match Two: Mr. Perfect vs Mortis w/ Sinister Minister                

Perfect works this one trying to one-up Mortis and plays up to the crowd until getting distracted by the The Sinister Minister which allows Mortis to cut him off and work some heat. Hennig sells that well of course, but does get some offence of his own in as well. Eventually Hennig is able to weather the storm and puts Mortis away with The PerfecrPlex! As the replay is shown, Christy Hemme joins Perfect at ringside.......



Christy Hemme: "Impressive victory for Mr. Perfect, who has finally seemed to get the monkey off his back known as Big Bubba Rogers and Jim Cornette! That being said, what's next for Mr. Perfect?"        


Before Perfect can answer out comes.......




Brian Pillman: "Christy Hemme..... your new here! So I'm going to help you out just this once! I'm the it factor in the UWF! I'm what everyone wants to talk about! Not some has been who is far from Perfect! So now that we got that out if the way..... go ahead..... ask me anything you want!"              

Christy Hemme: "Well Brian..... I was actually hoping to get a word with Mr. Perfect!"            

 Mr. Perfect: "I'm going to make this real short and sweet! Ms. Hemme..... NO offense to you at all darlin..... but Brian Pillman, the next time you interrupt my interview time..... we are going to find out just how crazy you really are!"            



Perfect spits his gum in the air then swats it in Pillmans face and walks away!

 Match Three: Brian Adidas & DJ Peterson vs The Midnight Express w/Jim Cornette for the UWF tag team titles            

The Midnight Express start out slow in this one, allowing Brian Adidas to have a decent showing against both Condrey and Eaton. Eaton finally lands a knee to Adidas’ gut and the Midnight take over. Adidas manages to make the comeback before making the hot tag to Peterson.As soon as he steps through the ropes, though, the Midnight smother him. Soon enough he Midnight land a pair of double-team maneuvers to score the pinfall at 4:30. Cornette hands his team their tag titles and takes the housemic.......






 Jim Cornette: "LADIES AND GENTLEMEN....... YET ANOTHER VICTORY FOR MY MOMMAS FAVORITE TAG TEAM...... BEAUTIFUL BOBBY AND LOVER BOY DENNIS...... THE MIDNIGHT EXPRESS! And I'm just gonna get right to the point here because for far too long, my team has sat in that number one Contender spot in the rankings while The Freebirds try to stay drunk and overlook the fact! The Freebirds are so stupid that if it was raining soup.... they would be outside with a fork! Bill Watts..... don't make my Momma call you! Give the world the match they wanna see..... The Mudnight Express vs The Freebirds for the NWA World tag team titles!"

 Christy Hemme: "Ladies and Gentlemen!! I give to you the brand new UWF Heavyweight champion...... Kerry Von Erich!"        




Kerry Von Erich: "Thank you ma'am! You know it's an honor to wear this championship and be referred to as the best the UWF has to offer! But my Father once told me..... a champion is only as good as his challengers! And that's why your going to see my defend thos title against anyone who wants to try and take it away from me! And with all these great fans behind me..... I just can't see anyone doing that!"        



The cameras pan backstage where we see Hacksaw Jim Duggan and Hacksaw Butch Reed fighting all over with The Killer Elite Squad, Lance Archer and DH Smith! Akbar yells out instructions but makes sure to not get too close to the action as security rushes in to try and stop the carnage.

Main Event: Barry Windham & Dustin Rhodes  vs Terry Funk & Harley Race            

Rhode and Windham make it clear how prepared they are for the match, they keep a solid focus on Funk’s left arm to control the action. Windham and Rhodes also both use their speed to avoid Race sneak attacking them as well as use their speed to allow Funk any chance of getting control. When Race is in, he don’t fair much better. He’s still outsmarted several times by both Windham and Rhodes, and can’t get much of any offense going.

Race and Funk on offense  incorporate more brawling and power into the mix. There is some work on the mat in the form of Funk’s STF and Race’s abdominal stretch, but neither of them is held on for any great length of time. Race going up top only to be met by Windham for the superplex. Funk knocks Rhodes off the apron, But Rhodes sneaking in the bulldog behind the refs back, to get the win.
