Freddy Miller : AWA All Star Wrestling Saturday Morning . Bringing you the greatest stars from , Britain , Germany , Mexico , Canada and the United States . This is Freddy Miller and here is your host Gordon Solie .
Gordon : Thank you Freddy Miller , thank you to this crowd here at the WGN Museum of Broadcasting and most of all thank you at home for joining us . On today’s show , we have a grudge match . After the recent events at last week’s Great American Bash , Owen Hart has challenged El Santo to a match . Santo being the fighting champion he is , he has put his AWA Light Heavyweight on the line. Up first however Tommy “ Wildfire “ Rich is in action when we come back .

Tommy Rich vs Black Gordman : Rich wins with a DDT ! Eddie Guerrero and Evolution attack Rich post match . Tully comes running out to help with a chair in hand .
Guerrero stops by the podium
Eddie : Hey Vato !!! Maybe that will teach you to mind your own business Holmes .

Out of the break Tully and an irate Rich are standing at the podium .
Gordon : Welcome back . Tommy Rich and Tully Bla…..
Rich : You Buncha sissies come back here .
Tully : Tommy , this ain’t the way brother . They only understand one thing . You gotta hit these guys where it hurts .
Babydoll comes out .
Babydoll : Now , before we go any further I expect you two to conduct yourselves like gentlemen. Tully your right , the Dynasty does only understand one thing and you know better than anyone , let’s not forget where you come from . So you want to take titles away from us is that it . I’ll tell you what . You two get 2 more partners . Then next week , right here on tv . It’s 4 on 4 Survivor Series match . You win , you get those title shots . You lose though , and you two and your partners are gone from AWA .
Tully : You know what , you’re on . See you next week .

Jim Brunzell vs Jim Powers : Brunzell’s new found attitude seems to make him a better wrestler . He destroys Powers and after hitting him with a Dropkick , he ends it with a Cobra Clutch .
Brunzell joins Gordon at the podium .
Gordon : Youngman the last few weeks you seem to have had a change in attitude . What is going on with you .
Brunzell : For my entire career I’ve been known as Verne Gagne’s protege, one half of the High Flyers or one of the Killer Bees . Mostly though I’ve walked in the large shadows of the Gagnes . Well , it’s my time to shine to prove I’m much more than that and that stupid old man and my so called best friend are holding me back .
Greg was always the golden boy , while I was the good boy . Greg the QB in high school , while I was the half back . He hardly ever through the ball my way . And when coach would call for the hand half , Greg would change the play and take it himself , because he’s got the last name Gagne .
Greg the president of student council, while I was treasurer . Greg the all American in the wrestling team , but I racked up just as many wins as he did , but his last name is Gagne . I’m sick and tired of hearing the last name Gagne . Greg , I want you in a match . You and me at the Great American Bash at the Drive Inn . July 28th . I’m going to beat you with the Cobra hold .
Gordon : Ok , when we come back , we will hear from Nick Bockwinkle and Ole Anderson .

Gordon : Welcome back and joining me now are Nick Bockwinkle and Ole Anderson . On the UWF Great American Bash you gentlemen had a big opportunity against the NWA World Tag Team Champions The Fabulous Freebirds .
Bockwinkle : Mr . Solie , we gave those two hill jacks all they wanted . I’ll tell you what it seems like the love doing two things . Drinking and fighting and they are good at both. They got Ole and I out of our game . Then beat us . Congratulations gentlemen you one upped us . So what’s next for Ole and I , will go back and tag with his brother Gene ?
Ole : The answer is no to that . Gene has retired from the ring and now will mold young wrestlers or upcoming veterans who never got past prelim stages . For the other question . Me and Nick are going back to the drawing board . We are now sitting on the bottom of the tag team rung . That’s where you go when you lose to the World Champions back to the bottom . All well and good though .
Nick : That’s right , starting next week we earn our way back up . You put a tag team in front of us and we are going to beat them . We are going to climb out of this cellar and by the time it’s all said and done , Ole and I will win the AWA Tag Team Titles by the time you are at home opening Christmas Presents. Hayes , Gordy we hope you guys are still NWA World Tag Team Champions still because you are going to find out about real tag team wrestling the next time we go after those belts .
Gordon : Fair enough . We’ll be back .

Blue Demon vs Tiger Mask : Great back and forth match . Demon hits a Plauncha and rolls Tiger back in and tries to put Tiger in a Lifting Hammerlock , Tiger shifts his weight and rolls through . He gets off a Bridging German Suplex for the 3 . Post match the two men shake hands .
Gordon : Exciting action with two outstanding men giving it their all . When we come back , it’s time for our main event . El Santo vs Owen Hart . The AWA Light Heavyweight Title will be on the line .

AWA Light Heavyweight Title El Santo vs Owen Hart : Santo snaps off a couple of quick Lucha Arm Drags and then a spinning head scissors that hurls Owen from the ring . Santo with a Suicide Dive and then rolls his man back in . Santo scales to the top rope and Owen hits a step up Enzuguri, that knocks Santo down to the floor . Owen with a neck breaker on the floor and then a DDT !!! Owen goes for a Brainbuster on the floor . Blue Demon comes out and pulls Santo down !! Owen turn and runs right into a DDT from Demon . The ref calls for the bell .
Freddy Miller : Fans the winner of this match due to outside interference. El Santo .
Gordon : Well we are just about …..Excuse me gentlemen ???
Blue Demon : Excuse me Gordon . At the Great American Bash this man , my old friend who I’ve made countless movies with and our careers have mirrored one another for years , extended his hand in friendship . I was too stubborn to take it . Well mi familiar my old friend , that ends now . This is about Lucha and Laraza !
The two men shake hands .
Santo : Once again , brothers and friends reunited . My brother , I can think of no better way to celebrate this , than you to face me for this title at the Great American Bash at the Drive Inn .
Demon : It would be my honor and privilege.
