WWF # 11 : Battle of the Titans 2
Bob Costas : Hello fans Bob Costas back with you this week on WWF on Fox . Tonight we have our second battle Royal and Taz defends the WWF Television Title against Dean Malenko . Bill Apter has a new segment on our tv show. PWI The Big Interview . Tonight’s guest Bob Backlund .
The debut of Ron Simmons tonight and a new tag team here , but known all over the world , Mr Fuji and Mr . Saito and the National Heavyweight Champion our own Randy Macho Man Savage will put his title on the line this week against Dr. Tom Pritchard . We’ll have all the action when we come back .
Ron Simmons vs The Duke of Dorchester : Simmons displays his incredibly power and puts the Duke away with an Alabama Slam !
Bob Costas : Ron Simmons looked really good . Looking forward to more from him in the upcoming weeks . Right now it’s time for the WWF Television Title Match let’s go to the ring .
WWF Television Championship Taz vs Dean Malenko : Malenko isn’t playing around . He gets a firemen’s carry and then into a step over top wrist lock . Taz gets to the ropes and Malenko puts the boots to him . Malenko with a gut wrench Suplex and then a body scissors . From there he gets Taz’s back and puts him in a sleeper . Taz somehow finds the ropes and rolls to the outside . He grabs Malenko by the ankles , trips him up and pulls him out to the floor . Taz with an Over The Head Belly to Belly right into the ring post . He crawls under the ropes and scores a count out victory .
Costas : I really thought Malenko had him beat , but good champions find a way . We’ll be back .

Bill Apter : Thanks Bob , my guest this week is none other than Bob Backlund . Mr . Backlund , seems for some reason you have gotten the ire of Larry Zbysko and The Great Kabuki .
Backlund : You know and I can’t figure it out , Bill . I’m a wrestler all I want to do is compete and these two have other plans in mind obviously.
Bill : How soon are you planning to come back to in ring action.
Backlund : I’ll be back next week . Looking forward to getting back in that ring . That for me is home .
Bill : What’s next in the agenda after this ?
Bob : Either the WWF Heavyweight Title . The WWF East Coast Title or the Television title . Those are my goals .
Bill : Bob , thank you and will see you next week .
Backlund : Thank you Bill . It was an honor to be the first to debut this segment .
Bill : Fans , we’ll see you next week . Three big matches still to come . Randy Savage defends the National Heavyweight Title against Dr. Tom Pritchard , Mr Fuji and Mr . Saito make their WWF tag team debut and that big Battle of the Titans Royal that is the road to WWF Great American Bash at Yankee Stadium. Don’t go anywhere .

NWA National Heavyweight Title Randy Savage vs Dr. Tom Pritchard : Tom does a great job , but Savage is more than up to the task . He wins with the Elbow Drop .
Bob Costas : A big win this week for the National Heavyweight Champion . When we come back it’s Mr Fuji and Mr . Saito in tag team action .

Mr . Fuji & Mr . Saito vs Don Kernodle and Jim Nelson : Fuji and Saito just dissect the other team . Saito with Suplexes and Fuji’s nerve holds . In the end Fuji hits Kernodle with an over hand karate chop and gets the 3 .

Hogan and Nash tear into one another . Brody catches Simmons as he’s going for a shoulder tackle and GTS’s him right over the top rope . Brody big boots Nash over the top . Hogan with an Ace Bomber staggers Brody and then a big boot puts Brody out . Hogan celebrates in the ring .
