|  Bill Apter: "Hello wrestling fans..... Bill Apter here on a very special assignment from the NWA. On a day that the huge announcement of the Great American Bash tour was announced, now the NWA is pleased to announce the addition of Progress Wrestling to the Wrestling family."  Bill Apter: "And at this time, I would like to take the opportunity to introduce you to the owners of Progress Wrestling....... Martyn Best and Lee McAteer! Gentlemen welcome to the National Wrestling Alliance! Can you tell the fans what to expect from Progress Wrestling?"  Martyn Best: "Well first let me say what an honor it is to be part of the NWA! This is a dream come true for me as I have been a Wrestling fan my entire life." Lee McAteer: "And I can second that statement. We don't want to be known us owners of Progress..... our fans will own that distinction! But what you can expect from Progress...... looking around the NWA there are so many wonderful territories. But we Van tell you right now..... we aren't your Father's Wrestling company! We might be the black sheep of the NWA before it's said and done! When Martyn and I sat down and agreed to do this, we knew two things had to happen. We wanted to run in Las Vegas regularly and that we had to have the right talent to put us on the map. And we would like to introduce that person right now. The Progress Wrestling number one draft pick so to speak......... Bobby Lashley!" Bill Apter: "Wow! Talk about making a statement right out of the gates!"  Bobby Lashley: "Thank you Gentlemen! I want to say how excited I am for this opportunity. There are many great free agents right now in this great business, and for Progress Wrestling to claim me as their number one pick is a very humbling honor. And it's one that I take very seriously. And I plan on putting this company on my back and taking it straight to the top!" Bill Apter: "Very exciting stuff indeed! Now I guess the big question is when can we expect the debut of Progress Wrestling?" Martyn Best: "I'm glad you asked, because just minutes before we came on the air tonight, we was told by NWA President, David Crockett, we could have an exhibition match during the upcoming Saturday Nights Main Event on April 29th! But like we said earlier, we are fans of pro wrestling. And in our younger days, we loved getting up on Saturday morning and turning on pro wrestling! And that's exactly what your going to be able to do now as we will air live, every Saturday morning on the USA Network!" Bill Apter: "Gentleman, once again welcome to the NWA and wrestling fans, dont you dare miss out on Progress Wrestling! We will see you at the matches!" | |
