We have some great AWA matches along with some hreat Elite Eight matchups so without firther ado,ket's go up to the ring for our first match!"
FREDDY MILLER:" Our opening contest will have JERRY BLACKWELL against GENE ANDERSON!"
Jerry Blackwell vs Gene Anderson : Anderson attacks Blackwell . He trips him up , grabs the leg and starts putting the boots to it . Patera runs out and clocks Gene from behind . He and Blackwell put the boots to Gene . Patera presses him above his head and slams him from the ring to the unforgiving floor of the United Center . Blackwell now off the ring apron with a big splash on Gene . Similar to what they did to Ole the week before . Patera tips over a merch table knocking all the Tommy Rich t shirts to the floor . He sets it up in the ring . He picks up Gene who and sets him over Blackwell’s left shoulder, who is now in the second rope !!! STAMPEDE SLAM THROUGH THE TABLE BY BLACKWELL !!!!
He takes the house mic .
Blackwell : Another member of the Minnesota Wrecking Crew in the damn hospital . Look we ain’t here to make friends . We are here because Sheik pays us a lot of damn and to win titles . We do give a damn if you are a Moondog , a rock n roller , a high Flyer , two old men past their prime or swing in Jim Cornette’s every word like two mindless twits . Me and Kenny are not only bringing those tag titles back home , we are keeping the damn things and we don’t care who we have to go through .
Blackwell and Patera take their leave .
GORDON:" WOW is all i can say ! Now that BLACKWELL and PATERA have taken out the Minnesota Wrecking Crew,just who in the world can stop this path of destruction?

JUNIOR HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP!"
FREDDY MILLER:"Our next contest is to the first AWA JUNIOR HEAVYWEIGHT Championship!
First of all the Participants....from Calgary,Alberta Canada...OWEN HART...his opponent is the American Dragon...BRYAN DANIELSON!"
AWA Junior Heavyweight Title Owen Hart vs Bryan Danielson : The two men lock up collar and elbow . Owen with a go behind and then a belly to back Suplex . Danielson staggers up to his feet and Owen hits him with a front dropkick , kips up and as Danielson is getting to his feet , Owen puts him in a side headlock !!! Danielson works to his feet , backs Owen into the ropes and knees him in the gut . From there he chokes him on the top rope , breaking on the ref’s count . Danielson tells the ref he has until 5 . Danielson ties up Owen’s arm and beats on it , again breaking just before five . Danielson picks up Owen in a vertical Suplex position and then just hangs him on the top rope and then knees him on the face , knocking him to the floor .
Danielson goes out and stomps on Owen on the outside and then rolls him back in the ring . Danielson waits as Owen staggers up , he goes for the Shining Wizard , but Owen moves and then hits a roaring clothesline in Danielson . Owen goes up top and gets off a Missile Dropkick and then covers 1……2……Nooooo !!! Danielson kicks out . Owen pulls his man up , he goes for a Piledriver , but Danielson instead gets a double leg on Owen and puts him in an STF . Owen gets the ropes , but Danielson puts the boots to him . Danielson now sets Owen in the top turnbuckle . Owen headbutts his way out . Shooting Star Press by Owen . 1…….2……..Nooooooo Danielson gets a foot on the ropes . Owen with the Sharpshooter !!! Danielson claws his way toward the ropes for the break . Owen with a step up Enzuguri that sends Danielson to the floor . Owen goes to pull his man up and Danielson slams Owen’s head into the ring post . Danielson rolls Owen back in . Koji Clutch on Owen . He trapped in the middle of the ring and no place to go . He has no choice to tap out . Bryan Danielson is the first AWA Junior Heavyweight Champion .
GORDON:" Now that is exactly what wrestling is all about! Two gladiators going at it tooth and nail and giving it all they got to see who the better man is...at least for this night!
Congratulations to the first AWA Junior Heavyweight Champion...BRYAN DANIELSON!
Let's keep the action going as we now have our first ELITE EIGHT match and it promises to be a damn good one!"
FREDDY MILLER:" Our next bout is the first match in the ELITE EIGHT as UWF TV Champion- DR, DEATH STEVE WILLIAMS faces from FCW BARRY WINDHAM!"
These two are wary of each other from the outset and yet both give a quick handshake at the start!
WINDHAM and WILLIAMS engage in some back and forth technical wrestling which has both men go to a stalemate!
DR DEATH changes up his strategy a bit and employs some more physical and powerful moves which cayse BARRY to take a powder on the outside and gather his thoughts!
Barry's best bet is to use his speed and agility to offset DOC'S power and windham seems to have things going his way for the next several moments!
BARRY whips DOC into the ropes followed by a back body drop...he follows it up with another whip into the ropes and follows with his flying clotjesline....but DOC ducks it and BARRY hits the ropes throat first!
This stuns BARRY long enough for WILLIAMS to scoop up NARRY and hit the Oklahoma Stampede!
Three secomds later and its all over as WINDHAM is pinned and DOC advances to the Final Four next Saturday in the SUPERDOME!
GORDON:" Thta was one helluva match won by one helluva man!
BARRY WINDHAM has nothing to be ashamed of here but it seemed like it was one mistake that proved to be costly and WILLIAMS capitalized on it!
Now let's go up to the ring in what should prove to be a barn burner!"
FREDDY MILLER:"Our next ELITE EIGHT bout will be in one corner..from Parts Unknown...The Deadman..THE UNDERTAKER!
His opponent from Santa Fe,New Mexico...BRUISER BRODY!"
These two monsters meet in the center of the ring and the staredown starts!
The crowd noise starts at a low rumble and quickly reaches a fever pitch!
TAKER just stands there staring a ho;e thru BRODY as BRODY starts his HUSS HUSS chant!
Then all hell breaks loose!!
Tooth and nail...in the ring...on the floor...in the aisle...its going all over the place!!
They finally are back in the ring just beating the hell outta each other!
Neither has a real decisive edge in this as it has gone on for over 20 minutes and neither look likethey are slowing down!
Back to the floor as the action spills out to the floor!
BRODY tosses TAKER into the ringside steps and follows it up witha runningn knee...but TAKER moves and BRODY crashes his knee into the steel steps!
TAKER tosses a limping BRODY back in the ring and goes for the Tombstone!
BRODY musters up his strength to backbody drop TAKER!
BRODY then puts TAKER across his back and hits the GTS!!
But BRODY grabs his injured leg and cant make a cover as he writhes in pain!
TAKER recovers first and picks up BRODY...and hits the Tombstone!
The ref makes the three count as BRODY kicks out a half second too late!
Your winner and advancing to face DR DEATH in the final four...THE UNDERTAKER!!
An irate BRODY goes off and betas the ref before tossing him outta the ring!
TAKER and BRODY then fight all the way back to the dressing room!
SOLIE:"That match was as wild as we expected and then some! One helluva fight and I am looking forward to the match up between DR DEATH and THE UNDERTAKER!"
FREDDY MILLER:" Up now promises to be a wild and wooly affair as its time for the SURVIVOR SEROES Match!"
Survivor Series Match HHH , Tully Blanchard, Randy Orton & Eddie Guerrero vs Tommy Rich , Wild Bill Irwin , Iron Mike Sharpe and Shawn Michaels : Tully and Tommy start things off . Rich is really taking the fight to Tully . A big bodyslam and then a second rope diving forearm . He covers and gets 1……2…..Broken up by a punt in the head from Orton . Tully tags in Eddie . Eddie hits the three amigos on Rich and goes up for the Frog Splash , but Rich moves . Rich makes the tag to Irwin . Irwin comes in and nails Eddie with a clothesline . Eddie tags in Orton .
Orton rakes the eyes of Irwin and then a neck breaker . Orton hits the RKO !!!! Orton covers 1……..2…….3 !!!!!
Freddy Miller : Fans Wild Bill Irwin is eliminated .
HBK is in . Orton with a side headlock . Shawn works his way off the mat and gets off a back Suplex . Orton staggers up , flying forearm by Shawn he kips up . He sets for Sweet Chin Music , Orton bales backward and falls right into HHH . There is some jaw jacking between the two . HHH gives the “ Suck It “ sign to Shawn and tags off to Tully .
Tully with a bodyslam on Shawn and then a hammerlock . Shawn works his way off the mat , Tully goes for an Atomic Drop , but Shawn is able to each back and tag in Tommy . Tully gets off his move , but turns around right into a Thesz Press by Rich !! Rich gets 1……2…..3 !!!
Freddy ; Fans , Tully Blanchard is eliminated!
Rich stands up and never sees the running knee by HHH . Hunter now with a shoulder breaker and then a Pedigree ! He covers and never taking his eyes off Shawn gets the 3 count .
Freddy : Fans , Tommy Rich has been eliminated.
Iron Mike Sharpe hits the ring . He spears HHH and the two go flying out of the ring . Both men are counted out .
Freddy Miller : HHH and Iron Mike Sharpe are both eliminated, we are down to Randy Orton and Shawn Michaels !
It quickly becomes a chopfest between the two . Orton tires of it , rakes the eyes and gets off a Maddog Powerslam!!! From there he hits a Hangmen’s DDT !! Now he sets . Shawn is staggering up ….. Orton goes for the RKO ……SWEET CHIN MUSIC OUT OF NOWHERE BY SHAWN !!!! 1…….2…..3 !!!
Freddy Miller : Fans your winner and sole survivor Shawn Michaels !!!!
GORDON:" Oh my word...that may have been the craziest matche s that i have ever personally witnessed ! The fallout from this is gonna change some things here in the AWA!
Now lets go up for our next Elite Eight match!"
FREDDY MILLER:"Our next ELITE EIGHT match up has the slim and trim PLAYBOY BUDDY ROSE vs the WWF TV Champion...the Human suplex machine....TAZ!"
As the bell rings,ROSE motions for TAZ to wait for a minute as he begins doing jumping jacks!
The crowd boos as he starts to do one armed push ups!
TAZ is in no mood to p;ay and starts to stomp away on the stunned ROSE!!
The crowd cheers and is in awe as TAZ hits BUDDY with about four different suplex variations!
A stunned ROSE never recovers and is easy prey as TAZ locks in the Tazmission and BUUDY taps out quickly!
TAZ easily moves onto the final four where he will face the winner of the next match!
Last ELITE EIGHT Match!
WWF HJeavyweight Champion MR. WONDERFUL PAUL ORNDORFF w/ PAUL HEYMAN vs NIKITA KOLOFF w/ JIMMMY HART
Before this match even starts NWA Senior ref MIKE SMITH knowa what could happen here and sends both managers back to the dressing room!
Their pleas are falling onn deaf ears and only the threat of dq persuades both tom comply!
finally the bell rings and this match is on!
Both are strong and each get chances to take over offense for quite a bit!
PAUL slows the pace a bit with some armlocks,leglocks etc!
He figures he has a better chance to win by keeping NIKITA grounded!
This works for several minutes until the russian's strngth prevails!
An ORNDORFF piledriver is thwarted by a back body drop and then as PAUL turns around he is jit by a devastating Russian Sickle!
However the ref doesnt see NIKITA use the ropes and a hanful of tights to help the Russian secure a dirty pin!
ORNDORFF protests the decision and piledrives ref Mike Smith as NIKITA makes a hasty retreat to the back !
GORDON SOLIE:" Fans this has been one actioned pack ELITE EIGHT and a great AWA line up as well!
Next weekends FINAL FOUR is going to be crazy as DR DEATH STEVE WILLIAMS faces ThE UNDERTAKER and the ever impressive TAZ takes on the Russian Nightmare-NIKITA KOLOFF!
