WWF # 5 : Decisions
Bob Costas : Hello fans , Bob Costas here with you this week . Bobby Heenan is actually shooting a movie in Beverly Hills and will not be with us the next 2 weeks . So I’m going to try and do this by myself . Well the first round of March Madness is in the books and we will hear more about that in the Apter report .
On today’s show however , Hulk Hogan will be in action .

Chris Benoit gets in the ring .
Benoit : I hate talking . I let my wrestling speak for itself . I hate politics and I hate proving myself . I have a copy of the the Pro Wrestling Illustrated rankings . Bill Apter I know you are up in that loft here in the studio looking down on us from your little nest . Well poke your little bald head out .
Let’s get one thing straight , I don’t give a damn about March Madness or the World Heavyweight Title instead my focus is on some wannabe rock star who happens to wrestle stinking up the Super Junior Division. He’s holding the World Super Junior Title and is disgracing every time he steps foot in the ring .
Then we have some lard ass , who is going around with a fake scale and doing a comedy skit making fun of a title that means everything to me . Then there is some kind glorified stunt man who couldn’t make it into the X Games as a skate boarder and stepped into the world if pro wrestling and thinks the Super juniors is an easy way to make money .
The list goes on and on . The one , the absolute one that bothers me the most though is Tiger Mask . Tiger Mask who wrestles here in the WWF . Tiger Mask a great wrestler . A high Flyer a Japanese comic book super hero based wrestler . The kids love him . Hell , I kind of like the guy too , but I beat him . I beat him and Ultimo Dragon on the same night . I am the WWF Cruiserweight Champion and Tiger Mask , Lard Ass and Stunt Boy are all ahead of me in the rankings . Chris gets to wrestle these guys while I gotta wait .
There is nothing that I can do about lard ass and nothing I can do about stunt boy , but Tiger Mask , there is something I can do about him . Sunday night we are headed to the Manhattan Center . Tiger Mask you have a decision to make , before the end of the show . You vs me for this belt . The WWF Cruiserweight Title . I expect to hear a yes from you if you are the type of man you say you are .
Benoit takes his leave .
Costas : Well that was an interesting way to begin . When we come back Hulk Hogan is in action .

Hulk Hogan vs Chris Markoff : The Russian does ok , but Hogan , too big , too strong , too fast and too good . A big boot then an Ace Bomber ends it .
Hogan grabs the house mic .
Hogan : Let me tell you something brother . I was looking at the PWI rankings I gotta admit I got a little excited , dude . There I was in the World Television Title rankings . Well brother …….
Paul Heyman comes out .
Heyman : Excuse me Mr . Hogan , I’m sorry to interrupt you , but you sir should not be happy with only being ranked . You should want that number one spot . I can help you get there . I can get you that title shot with Jimmy Snuka . Here is my card , think it over and I’ll be back before the end of the show for your decision , sir .
Costas : Looks like Paul Heyman is trying to build an Alliance of some type . Fans when we come back it is a very busy Apter Report .

Bill Apter : Hello fans , Bill Apter and this is the Apter report . Lots to get to this week . March madness kicked off this past weekend . It was a clean sweep by the WWF as Bruiser Brody won a tough fought battle against Eddie Guerrero. Taz surprised Lex Luger and Paul Orndorff in what many are saying was controversial, won against Rick Rude .
Nikita Koloff moved on with the help of a chain and Jimmy Hart over David Von Erich .
Steve Williams and Bob Backlund put on a clinic in which Dr . Death won in a great match .
Buddy Rose in an unusual contest beat Adrain Street .
Barry Windham clotheslined his way to victory over Steve Austin but there seemed to be an issue there .
And The Undertaker beat Superstar Billy Graham when Rock balanced out the numbers game . Eddie Gilbert can’t be happy about that .
Other news this week ….. The Freebirds are the World Tag Team Champions and also on UWF it seems we are headed for a rematch for the UWF Television Title . Doc vs Bundy !
AWA the Great Lakes Champion was crowned when Shawn Michaels won a 13 man Battle Riot over the weekend .
In CCW Roddy Piper and Dr . D continue to torment Steve Austin .
In FCW the Zambuii express are back and they have caused quite a stir in the tag team division over there .
And now WWF fans it’s time for these words from Gary Hart .
Hart : I have sold off my assets brotha . I want no part of being hunted man . As of today the contract of Mr . Wonderful belongs to Paul Heyman . Kabuki and Butcha are given there out right release . That’s it for me brotha .

Hawk and Animal come out and as Jimmy and Jey are making their way to the exit , Hawk clotheslines Jimmy while Animal press slams Jey .
Heyman : Looks like o got my answer . Now this Sunday at the Manhattan Center , we are challenging Randy Savage to put his National Heavyweight’s Title on the line against either Hulk Hogan or the mighty Yokozuna .
Warriors come down an stand beside Heyman
Heyman : Gentlemen . Great job on the Uso problem . There will be a little extra in your contract like we discussed . Now onto …..
Hawk : Let’s get one thing straight . We only beat up the Usos because we like doing they kind of stuff .
Animal : And now we are going to beat you up ! Because we don’t like you , but we like to beat people up . So …..
They drag Heyman to the ring . He’s kicking and screaming frantically . Animal goes up on his shoulders . Hawk goes up top ……
Hulk Hogan comes out and rips Heyman down . He’s now mixing it up with Hawk and Animal when you hear the sound of a semi horn and Big Daddy Cool makes his way out . Now the Warriors , Hogan and Nash fight up the aisle to the back .

Out of the break there is a lot of confusion until Toots Mondt takes the ring .
Toots : So there is a lot to get to . Most of it starts with Paul Heyman . I am not going to allow anymore gang warfare around here . I got problems with the Samoans . I got problems with the Hand and now Hogan and Nash and Orndorff are in some kind of an alliance . I saw contracts that Heyman has drawn up . Well , all well and good , but I do the talking around here and Jess McMahon does the hiring and firing .
We are ending this Samoan War once and for all . Heyman you’re not going to have the Samoan Dynasty and your alliance . We will not allow it . So here is what we are going to do . This Sunday at the Manhattan Center. Its War Games meet Survivor Series . One one team . Roman Reigns , Jimmy and Jey Uso and a partner of their choosing vs Yokozuna , The Samoan Swat Team and Umaga . Pinfalls or submissions can occur at any time . When a pinfall or submission. occurs you leave the cage , you leave War Games and you leave the WWF .

Toots : Randy ?
Savage : What about me brother ? I hear Heyman out here running his big ugly mouth about challenging the Macho Man . Hulk Hogan , we were brothers , The Mega Powers and now you wanna toss it all away ? Here is the National Heavyweight Title let’s see what you got . Dig It !!!
Toots : Ok Randy you’re on . Finally fans I heard back from Tiger Mask , he will indeed challenge Chris Benoit for the WWF Cruiserweight Title.
The fans are going crazy .
Toots : Now about March Madness . It was a huge success for the first round . We are very proud of what the WWF has accomplished . All 3 of our entries are still going strong . Unfortunately that’s also an issue . Until our entires are eliminated they won’t be here in studio . However this Sunday at the Manhattan Center you can see
Mr . Wonderful Paul Orndorff vs John Cena
Bruiser Brody and John Nord vs Abdullah The Butcher and The Great Kabuki
And Taz in a rematch vs Dean Malenko .
Costas : WOW !! What a night . Fans when we come back we still have a tv main event to get to Larry Zbysko taking on Bruno Sammartino the winner gets a TV title shot in the future . We’ll be back .

Larry Zbysko vs Bruno Sammartino : Larry uses a lot of stall tactics . Bruno catches up with him and punishes him . He has Larry in. Bearhug . Kabuki comes down to ringside and walks toward the ring . The ref is trying to send Kabuki away . Abudullah comes out and attacks Bruno from behind . He rolls out of the ring after Larry is looking at him confused . Larry hirs a belly to belly on Bruno . Kabuki bows to the ref and walks away . The ref puts the 3 on Bruno .
