The show opens up with closing moments of the Crockett Cup Finaks between The Road Warriors and The Freebirds........





Gordy press slams Animal this time to the outside of the ring . Animal crashes through the time keepers table !! Gordy now makes the tag to Hayes . Hawk is up to his feet , limping badly . Hayes with a clothesline and then a Bulldog . Hayes tags in Gordy ! In the meantime on the outside , an angry pissed off Animal is slowly getting to his feet . Hayes hits him in the head with a chair . The ref is focus is where it should be , in the ring . Gordy with a Piledriver in a weakened Hawk . Gordy covers , there is no one to come rescue Hawk this time . The ref drops and counts 1……2……3 !!!











  Jim Ross: "Hello wrestling fans and welcome to another exciting edition of the UWF! You seen at the top of the show that we have brand new NWA World tag team champions in the Fabulous Freebirds! They defeated the Road Warriors in the Crockett Cup finale to win those titles! And that's not all..... it seems like you might need a score card for all the happenings around the NWA, but nonetheless we also have new AWA Tag Team champions as The Midnight Express defeated the Rock n Roll Express in a title vs title match at Saturday Nights Main Event! And last but certainly not least, "Dr. Death" Steve Williams won the Elimination Chamber to become the UWF TV Champion!

And now all eyes are set on March Madness starting this weekend where the tournament begins to crown the NWA World champion.  And right here today, you will see all of the competitors representing the UWF in that tournament in action! And we're going to start it off with the Yellow Rose of Texas in action!"


     




   Match One: David Von Erich vs Masked Avenger                

DVE controls the early going with some headlocks and armdrag take-downs. After some rope-bouncing, DVE lands three reverse knee-drops from the corner and Avenger stumbles out right onto the clawhold from Von Erich to get the 3 count. After the match, David grabs the housemic.......





 David Von Erich: "The entire world's talking about this coming weekend and March Madness. As they very well should be! 16 men stepping into that tournament for a chance to become the NWA World champion! And what an honor it would be to win the entire thing. But before I can do that, I have something personal to settle in that first round. And that's the commie Russian, Nikita Koloff! Nikita, you wanna jump me from behind and nearly take my head off with that Russian Sickle? We're gonna find out what kind d of man you are this weekend once I out that iron claw on you son! I'm gonna do that one for America! And then I'm taking g home that NWA World title for me....  and all these great people!"

  Jim Ross: "Wrestling fans at this time, we are going to hold the official weigh in for the match between "Exotic" Adrian Street and "Playboy" Buddy Rose this weekend at March Madness! We have flipped a coin, and Buddy Rose will weigh in first!"            





 Buddy Rose: "As we all know, I do nothing without my personal fitness guru, Crash Holly and the only scales I trust! Crash, I assume you have everything in prestige working order. Let's show these people what a body of a Greek God looks like!"                



Buddy takes a deep breathe and exhales as he steps onto the scales. Crash slides the scale in place and it sets in place at...... 217lbs!!!!!


  Buddy Rose: "That's what working out 10 hours a day will get you people! I should be an inspiration  to you all. While you sit on your couches stuffing your faces with cookies and soda. I'm in the gum, putting in the work! And after I beat this freak and move on to win March Madness, I will be a world champion you can be proud of!"          



Rose steps off the scales and invites Street to take his turn in the weigh in! Miss Linda takes off Streets jacket, then sprays the Exotic One with perfume as he takes his place on the scales. Rose steps up close to the scales to get a closer look! It's shows Street weighing in at 231lbs!



 Buddy Rose: "Wow! 231lbs! You must be ashamed of yourself! Do you even workout? But hey..... it is what it is! This is the biggest tournament of my life and I can't let something like your obesity get me down! I will gladly wrestle your fatass anyway!"                




Adrian Street: "Dear boy..... speaking of fat fannies...... just wait until this weekend and see what I do to yours!"              



Street blows Rose a kiss then leaves the ringside area as Buddy looks nervous, watching on.

   Match Two: "The Total Package " Lex Luger vs Rocky King                

Lex just toys with King, showing off his power numerous times doing moves such as military press slams and a running clothesline. Then Luger  hits a powerslam and calls for the rack! King submits and Luger picks up a win.


 Jim Ross: "Well we know one thing...... The Total Package doesn't work by the hour! And now, you move on to March Madness facing a man who has been making a name for himself, getting victory after victory......the man called Taz!"                





 Lex Luger: "Make no mistake about it Jim Ross, that Taz is as tough as they come! The man may know more suplexes than anyone in the sport. But Taz,  I'm telling you right now..... The Total Package is coming for that NWA World title! And once I put you up in that Torture Rack, there isn't a suplex in the world that can help you!"                





***COMMERCIAL BREAK ***





 Main Event: "Dr. Death" Steve Williams  vs Wendell Cooley for the UWF TV Title                

Clothesline and boots by Williams, and a backbreaker gets two. Dr. Death goes for a corner charge but crashes in the corner. Cooley gets a little bit of offense while he has the opening, but he comes off the second rope, gets caught in mid-air, and Williams turns it into a stampede for three.




 Jim Ross: "I'm not sure that there is anyone any hotter in the UWF right now than the Good Doctor! And Doc, this weekend you face someone who knows a thing about amateur wrestling himself, in Bob Backlund!"              





  Dr. Death: "Backlund is no slouch in that ring! I have a lot of respect for the man. But winning this UWF TV title was just the beginning for me! And I'm going to...... now what do you guys want?"                


Doc is interrupted bybthe appearance of Skandar Akbar and King Kong Bundy!





 Skandar Akbar: "The fact that you come out here calling yourself the UWF TV Champion is absurd and you know it Williams! Your just like all these lazy Americans,  who will cut any corners to get what they want!"              


 Dr. Death: "There wasn't any shortcuts about it Akbar! I planted Bundys shoulders to the mat with the Oklahoma Stampede! End of story!"              

 Skandar Akbar: "You may have pinned Bundy to the mat......but that was AFTER Bundy had already pinned you! Look at the footage! Bundy pinned you for a three count! Bundy is the uncrowned champion!"              



This brings out Bill Watts!


 Bill Watts: "I'm not sure what your angle is here Akbar! But it clearly shows in the record books that Steve Williams is the first ever UWF TV Champion!"              

 Skandar Akbar: "All on a technicality Watts! Your official referee made the three count! Bundy is the uncrowned champion!"        

Bill Watts: "Now hold on! I see where this is going! But it was your man Bundy.... who demanded the ref count to five! And the referee complied..... and Doc kicked out at the count of 4! That's on your man!"                


  Dr. Death: "Hold in a minute Bill Watts! Maybe just this once..... Akbar is right! When I won this title, I said I would be a champion to be proud of. And Bundy did get an official three count! BUTTTTT...... I also kicked out before his 5 count he wanted. So if I'm a man of my word..... we are going to settle it the right way. Here..... take this UWF TV Title! I want you to keep it until next week! Akbar.....you have Bundy here next week! And we will have the match......and there will be no doubt at the end of it who the rightful TV champion is!"            



  Jim Ross: "Now how about that? There's something you don't see everyday! I'm here to tell ya..... Steve Williams us a man's man! And Bygawd he's all man! And next week he's gonna put that tv title up against King Kong Bundy!!! Fans, we will see you then!"
