Location: The Omni, Atlanta GA 
Jim Ross: "Hello wrestling fans.....and welcome to a historical night in wrestling..... as the NWA will crown its first National Heavyweight champion tonight. Eight men from all over the NWA with one goal..... to leave the Omni tonight as the National Heavyweight champion! And we are going to kick things off with the opening match of the tournament right now!" Match One: Kevin Von Erich vs Jake Robert's Some woman mugs Kevin in the aisle, trying to cram her tongue down his throat as he makes his way to the ring. Roberts gets a takedown, but Kevin strikes back to even it up. He gets a chinlock to start, turning it into a bodyscissors. He rolls over Roberts who kicks out at two. Jake chastises the ref for it too. Jake escapes but then in trying to escape a monkeyflip, falls over and gets put back in the same hold. Kevin rolls him over for a pin, and Jake wisely kicks out at one this time. Roberts grabs Kevin’s toes to get out of the hold. Sideheadlock by Kevin but Roberts whips him to the ropes and hits a NASTY boot to the face. Neckbreaker gets two as Roberts slows the match down, methodically taking his shots on Von Erich.
Jake drops a fist for two as he still controls. Chinlock which Kevin escapes, so Roberts clotheslines him, but Kevin comes back with a vengeance, so Roberts dumps him to the floor. Jake gets the lariat which leaves Kevin screaming in pain. Kevin falls back to the floor. Back in and they trade blows. Jake tries a suplex, but Kevin slips out and rolls up Roberts, who reverses it, grabs the tights, and rolls through...... Roberts grabs Kevin by the head..... DDT! 1.......2.......3! Jake Robert's advances to the next round.
Match Two: Randy Savage vs Bob Backlund Savage plays to the crowd big time, which seems to have Backlund off his game plan, as hes all business waiting to tie up with Savage. Backlund finally grabs Savage by the hair, rams him into the corner, right hand, pulls Savage in from escaping the right, does that again, just pounding him around the ring to start. Backlund with a big right that sends Randy reeling again.
A knee to the head from Backlund, then a kick to the chest. Running stomp. Now choking Savage over the top rope as Jim Ross states on commentary that Backlund is pulling out all the stops in his quest to advance in the tournament.
Backlund with another big right, more stomps, and Savage rolls out of the ring to buy some room. Backlund tries to roll put and follow and gets hit from behind when he tries to reenter the ring. Savage rams Backlund into the ringpost and gets back in, Backlund still down on the floor.
Savage outside with another shot at Backlund. Savage with an elbow to the top of the head, then he goes up top and hits the double axhandle to Backlund’s neck, down on the floor. Savage throws him back in, taunts a bit, and drops a standing elbow.
Savage back up to the top, hits another double axhandle. Backlund fingers Savage’s eye, then hits him in the gut. Backlund back up with Savage, kicks him coming in, rams him into the turnbuckle, kick again, and Savage is tied up in the ropes, so Backlund punches him in the face a few times. Off the ropes, big running kick from Backlund.
Backlund stays all over Savage. Knee to the head, Savage sent to the ropes, Backlund makes the cardinal mistake, and Savage catches him with a kick. Savage to the ropes, they collide and Savage falls to the floor.
Savage pulls Backlund out to the floor, elbow to the head, Backlund blocks a run into the ringpost and fires back on Savage. They fight outside, Backlund tries to climb back in, and Savage climbs the turnbuckles and hits him with the flying elbow drop! Savage gets the pinfall to advance.
Match Three: Sid Vicious vs "Hacksaw" Butch Reed Sid controls on the mat early, but Reed takes over, grabbing a top wristlock and wrenching away. Sid fights from the bottom, bridging up on his neck and finally powering up off the canvas. Sid takes him over with an armdrag, hits another when Reed bounces back, and Sid goes back to Reed’s left arm.
They get back to their feet, and Sid hits a clothesline in the corner, but Reed catches him with a high knee off the ropes. Sid falls like a sack of bricks. Reed hits a bulldog for two. Reed with a hotshot over the top rope and a swinging neckbreaker, then he sends Sid to the floor. Reed hits a vertical suplex back inside for two, then grabs a front facelock. Reed using the bottom rope for a little leverage while down in the hold, and the ref misses it. Second time, works again. After the 3rd time, the ref forces Reed to break the hold.
Four right hands from Reed, where he refuses to let Sid fall, holding on to his hair and making him absorb shots while unable to recover from the last. Down into another chinlock. Sid powers up again, Reed grabs the top wristlock to hang on, then yanks Sid back to the mat with the tights.
Once again, Sid powers up, and once again, Reed yanks him back down. Sid’s arm has dropped twice repeatedly. Now Sids firing up and elbows out, and hits a shoulderblock off the ropes. Sid with a sunset flip for one, but then they collide and both guys are down.
Reeds up first and hammering on Sid as they get back to action, but Sid creams him with a forearm off the ropes, and Reed hits the canvas. Sid’s got it rolling now. Right hand, bodyslam, and Reed is reeling. Reed firing back with forearm clubs, but Sid’s got the momentum now. Sid counters a hiptoss with a hiptoss, then mounts and pummels Reed with right hands. Reed off the ropes again, and Sid catches him in the belly-to-belly, but the ref gets clipped by Reed’s boots so there’s no pin counted.
Sid goes back to work on Reed, just beating him down in the corner. The ref pulls Sid out of the corner, and Reed pulls a foreign object out of his tights. Reed drills Sid! Reed covers for the three count, but right when the ref raises Reed’s hand, he sees the foreign object, and restarts the match. Reed is pissed! Sid makes his way up and drills a knee to Reeds midsection. Sid grabs Reed...... POWERBOMB TO REED! 1......2.......3! Sid advances.
Match Four: The Rock vs Eddie Gilbert Rock and Gilbert both exchanging punches to start and Rock gets the advantage. Rock whips Gilbert but Gilbert comes back with a flying forearm then works him over with chops and kicks. Gilbert goes for a whip and Rock reverses him into a corner. Rock charges at Gilbert and eats a boot but then nails Gilbert with an elbow and lays the boots to him. Gilbert comes back but Rock throws him over the ropes.
Gilbert back in the ring. Rock covers for a two count then hits a suplex for another two count. Rock goes for a whip but Gilbert reverses and hits a spinning heel kick. Rock rolls out to the apron when Gilbert connects with the dropkick, knocking him off to the floor. Gilbert stomps away on Rock when Rock fights back and comes off the ropes but eats a clothesline for a near fall. Gilbert connects with the Hotshot but only gets a two count. Gilbert goes for a whip and reverses it but lowers the head and Gilbert kicks the face but runs into a tilt-o-whirl slam for a near fall.
Rock and Gilbert are both down on the mat as the referee starts making the count. Then out comes Superstar Billy Graham and The Sheepherders. Graham then tries to come in the ring but that distracts the referee while The Rock hits the Rock Bottom on Gilbert! Rock manages to drape an arm over Gilbert but only gets two and Graham again hops on the apron to distract the referee while Luke Williams comes in and nails Rock with a chair!
Gilbert covers Rock but he only gets two as well and Rock comes back and plants Gilbert with a spinebuster. Gilbert's Army start climbing onto the apron but Rock tries to fight them off.
Gilbert goes for a whip but Rock counters it and hits him with a Rock Bottom. Rock covers, 1.......2....... but Graham pulls Rock out of the ring. Rock is able to fight Graham off then rolls back in the ring and plants Gilbert with a second Rock Bottom. Rock covers Gilbert but Butch Miller distracts the referee while Graham clocks Rock with the National title!. Graham then drapes Gilbert’s arm over Rock and the referee counts the three for the pin. Gilbert advances in the tournament!
Semi-Finals, Match One: Randy Savage vs Jake Robert's Jake tries to work the arm, but Savage pulls hair, and Jake pulls hair in return. Armdrag by Jake and Savage backs off to regroup. Side headlock by Jake into a snapmare, and both men start yanking again. Jake suddenly goes for the DDT and Savage bolts out of the ring. Jake chases him back in and boots him. Savage backs him in the corner and throws punches. Jake reverses an Irish whip and gets a boot to the face on the charge, and Savage gets two. He rams Jake’s face in the mat and goes for another pin.
Savage tries another pin for two. Kneedrop gets another two. Punches are exchanged and Savage drops a forearm on Jake’s head Savage keeps going for the pin and keeps getting two counts. Jake starts mounting a comeback, so Savage ties his arms in the ropes.Jake unties himself and kicks Savage in the face as soon as he returns. Jake goes back to Savage takes him down with a short clothesline for two. Gourdbuster gets two. And another two. Jake keeps throwing punches. Hard kick by Savage, but Jake punches him down. Jake goes for the DDT again and Savage gets to the ropes and dives out of the ring. Jake follows him out and Savage sneaks up behind him with a knee to the back. Top rope axehandle on the floor by Savage, and he sends Jake in the ring for another top rope axehandle for two. He up top again and Jake is ready for him with a punch. More punches and kicks are exchanged and Savage sends him out to the floor with a shot to the ribs. Fistfight on the floor and both men go back into the ring to keep it going. Both men lose their temper and shove the referee across the ring as they continue to fight. Then all of a sudden the lights go out and the arena is dark! The crowd can be heard buzzing. Then after a few seconds the lights come back on and we see Darby Allin at ringside. Jake begins jaw jacking with Darby long enough for Savage to come behind and roll Jake up for the pinfall! Randy Savage goes to the tournament finals!
Semi-Finals Match Two: Sid Vicious vs "HotStuff" Eddie Gilbert They trade blows to start with Sid going for the Chokeslam early, but Gilbert kicks him in the nuts instead and celebrates in the corner. The ref did not see the illegal move. To the floor they go, the crowd is split between Gilbert and Sid. Sid eats the ringpost before they head back inside. An abdominal stretch (because Sid is SO BIG) goes nowhere. Sid grabs a chinlock, but Gilbert drops down for a jawbreaker for two. Sid misses a legdrop. Gilbert attempts the Sharpshooter, but Sid kicks him away. Sid scores with a Big Boot and Gilbert goes flying. Sid plays to the crowd and this allows Gilbert to regain his composure in the corner. Sod moves in and Gilbert hits a double leg takedown. Gilbert's puts Sids legs across his shoulders then throws his own feet on the ropes for added leverage as the ref counts three!
Jim Ross: "Thete ya have it fans..... Gilbert uses the ropes for leverage but the ref didn't see it. And our finals is set. It will be "The Macho Man" Randy Savage facing Eddie Gilbert in the finals in just a few moments. But first, things are heating up between Roman Reigns and Yokozuna. Just who is indeed, The Head of the Table? We might just find out in our next contest!" Match Seven: The Bloodline (Roman Reigns & The Uso's vs The Tribe (Yokozuna & Samoan Swat Team) Roman is in the ring and he is demanding Yokozuna . Yoko hops off the ring apron and says something to Paul Heyman who takes the house mic .
Heyman : Mr. Reigns , The High Chief The Mighty Yokozuna does not and will not grant one who has disgraced the Tribe such as yourself a wish . He will take place in the center of the ring , but he ask you to bow before him and once again take your place at his left hand .
Yokozuna stand in the center of the ring . Roman walks halfway and then appears to bow , but no … Spear !!! Roman now just slams fist h into the face of Yoko . The Usos mix it up on the floor with the Samoan Swat Team . Yoko rakes the eyes and a side kick to Reigns . He puts him on the corner and gets off a running hip attack . He leg drops him , 1……2……. Nooooo !! Roman kicks out . He tags in Seffa . Seffa comes off the top rope , with a double stomp to Roman . He tags in Jacob . Jacob with a BME on Roman and drags him to a corner . Jacob tags in Yokozuna .
Yoko comes in and sets for the Banzi Drop , but Roman gets his knees up . He rolls to the corner and tags in Jey . Jey with a Superkick on Yoko . He tags Roman back in as Yoko staggers out of the corner , Superman Punch !! Yoko staggers a second Superman Punch !! He staggers some more , tag to Jimmy he and Jey come on and blast Yoko with a Double Superkick !!! Now all six men are in the ring . The action spills out and the ref tosses out the match .
Main Event: Randy Savage vs Eddie Gilbert to Determine the National Heavyweight champion 
The crowd is electric as Savage and Gilbert stare each other diwn as the bell rings. Savage attacks Gilbert, complete with robe on. He knocks him silly, knocking Gilbert to the floor. They exchange rights until Savage sends Gilbert back to the floor following an atomic drop and clothesline. Gilbert lures Savage into a game of cat-and-mouse and dumps him over the top rope. Back in the ring, Gilbert stomps and chokes. He comes off the second rope with an axehandle, followed by his signature fist drop for a two count. Savage teases a comeback, but gets sent to the turnbuckle. Gilbert with a big clothesline and another double axehandle for a near fall. Gilbert with a flurry of rights and piledriver for another two count. He goes high risk again, but this time takes a fist to the midsection. Savage with a series of elbows. Gilbert gets introduced to the turnbuckle 10-times. Savage hangs Gilbert across the top rope and follows with a pair of running elbows. Gilbert side-steps a third attempt, throwing Savage through the ropes. Gilbert follows, planting him with a slam. Back in the ring, Gilbert drops a pair of fists for a two count. Savage teases a comeback, but Gilbert goes to the eyes and takes him over with a suplex for two. Gilbert tries sending Savage to an exposed turnbuckle, but Savage counters. He throws an arm over for the cover, but Superstar Billy Graham is back out again tonight, for the distraction!
Savage hangs him up across the top rope and follows with a double axehandle. He goes for the big Elbow, but Graham with the distraction. We get heel miscommunication, and Savage rolls him up, 1......2.......NO! Whip to the ropes, Savage sets too soon for a back drop and takes a forearm to the back of the head. Sleeper applied by Gilbert, but Savage makes it to the ropes. Graham with a cheap shot behind the back of the referee, but Savage still manages to kick out at two. Gilbert with rights, but a slam attempt is countered with a small package by Savage, 1......2........3!!!
AND YOUR NEEEEEWWWW NWA NATIONAL CHAMPION........ THE MACHO MAN RANDY SAVAGE!!!!!
