IWGP # 3 Rise of The Dark Dynasty
A vtr shows the opening segment of Inoki announcing the Road Warriors will be in the Royal Rumble .
From there a highlight real is shown from the weekend action . Yokozuna and Paul Orndorfff winning battle royals . Moving them onto the Royal Rumble . Tiger Mask winning the ladder match qualifier over Ultimo Dragon .
Bob Costas : Aloha and welcome to another exciting Friday night of action . This is International Wrestling Grand Prix and Bobby Heenan we are going to see Randy “ Macho Man “ Savage in a warm up match taking on Chris Benoit in our main event as he prepares to fly to Atlanta and go for the National Heavyweight Title taking on Bob Backlund in the opening round of the tourney .
Heenan : Great , the fans get to watch a crazy man in action Costas . Oh boy . What is this rumor I hear about Inoki selling the company ?
Costas : I haven’t heard that , what are your sources ?
Heenan : My sources are none of your business . That’s who my sources are and boy are you in trouble . The network loves me , I’m a ratings machine , you on the other hand …..
Costas : When we come back it’s , Bruiser Brody in action .
Heenan : Hide women , children and small dogs .

Bruiser Brody vs Chris Williams : Um yeah … Brody comes out with Gary Hart leading the way . He is just destroying this young man . He beats him like he owes him money and then after a running Stampede , Brody hits the GTS .
Gary Hart takes the mic . Hart is now surrounded by Brody , Abdullah , Muta and Orndorff .

Fox Sports TV Title Taz vs Jacob Fatu : A crazy match , that has the fans on their feet . It goes to a 20 minute time limit draw .
Heenan : We need a rematch Costas . Maybe Inoki will give us one after he sells this place and fires you .
Costas : I’m sure this is not the case . At any rate , Master Inoki is on the ring .
Inoki : Thank you one and all . It is with a heavy heart that I make this announcement. My partners and I can simply not keep up with IWGP . The cost is too great . As a result I have gotten together with Fox Sports , Toots Mondt and Jess McMahon . They have agreed to purchase IWGP . They will be moving the promotion to the East Coast and renaming the World Wrestling Federation. All champions will remain the same . I ask that the Road Warriors join me now .
Hawk and Animal come to the ring . Inoki bows and surprisingly They bow back . Inoki grabs a briefcase by ringside .
Inoki : Gentlemen, it is with great pleasure that you have served as my tag team champions . I present to you the WWF Tag Team Titles . Congratulations.
The Road Warriors bow and take their leave .
Inoki : And now joining Mr . Toots Mondt , the Vice President and spokesperson for the World Wrestling Federation .
Mondt : Thank you Master Inoki . Fans we here at the WWF are excited to bring you a special brand of professional wrestling. Tonight , until after the Royal Rumble is our last tv broadcast . Then on Friday , Feb . 3 we will be coming to you with a special live show from Madison Square Garden where we will crown the first WWF Heavyweight Champion . A one night 6 man tourney . The finals will be in a 3 man elimination match . Also on that same show The Road Warriors will defend the WWF Tag Team Titles against The Natural Disasters. Taz on a rematch will be defending against Jacob Fatu . Thank you and enjoy the rest of the show .

Costas : Well it looks like I’m staying .

Main Event Randy Savage vs Chris Benoit : Benoit starts off very quickly with a series of Suplexes . Then goes for the Crippler Crossface. Savage gets to the ropes for the break . The action spills to the outside and Savage hits a double axe handle on the outside . He rolls Benoit back in and comes off with a Flying Elbow for the 3 .
Costas : If Randy Savage hits that move it’s all over for Bob Backlund in the opening round Sunday night .
Heenan : Backlund will win because he’ll bore Savage into submission . Watching paint dry is better than watching Backlund . Costas , I have it on good at authority you won’t be here in Feb . Nice working with you . Not really .
