Bruno Sammartino vs Bob Backlund : Backlund controls the early going with some Suplexes and goes for a dropkick , but Bruno backs off and Backlund hits his head with nothing to push off of . Bruno now stomps and kicks away on Backlund and knocks him on the floor .Spinebuster by Bruno . He rolls Backlund in the ring and works a Bearhug . Backlund fights through it and gets off an over the head belly to belly. Backlund closes in on Bruno and goes for the Crossface Chicken Wing! Bruno falls against the ropes and then off the break , rakes the eyes . Back breaker by Bruno and then a Bearhug . There is no escaping this time . Backlund submits and Bruno moves onto the next round .
Wardlow vs Antonio Inoki : Wardlow doesn’t come alone . MJF comes out with him . Inoki walks to the back and the crowd explodes as he comes out with the mysterious Jade Dragon . Wardlow in the early going uses his power and pounds on Inoki getting him im a Full Nelson . Inoki gets out somehow and hits a spinning back kick to knock Wardlow over the ropes . As the ref is counting , MJF tries to sneak in with a chair, but he’s cut off by a Superkick from Jade Dragon . Now all four men are fighting it out . The ref DQ’s both Wardlow and Inoki .
2nd round Bruno will get a bye .
IWGP Women’s Championship Asuka vs Thunder Rosa : The match goes nearly 39 minutes . Rose goes for the Fire Thunder Driver, but Asuka rolls it into a sunset flip and retains .
Bobby Lashley vs Hulk Hogan : This is power on power . Lashley puts Hogan in the corner and shoulders him . Lashley now with an over the head belly to belly . Clothesline by Lashley . He hits the Dominator and only gets two as Hogan gets a foot on the ropes , Lashley hits a Buckle Bomb and this time Hogan kicks out . Hogan with a dropkick on Lashley and then a running Powerslam !! Lashley stagers up ….. Ace Bomber by Hogan turns Lashley inside out !!! 1…..2……3 !!
Hogan moves on to the next round .
Tiger Mask and Jade Dragon vs Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero: These four X Division stars put on a show . For 53 minutes the thrill the crowd . The end comes when Eddie misses a Frog Splash on Tiger and he gets the hot tag to Jade Dragon . Eddie staggers up and Jade gets off a bridging German Suplex for 3 , while Tiger holds off Benoit .
Post match Wardlow comes in and mows everybody down . MJF hits the Heat Seeker on Jade Dragon . MJF stands over Dragon and challenges him and Inoki to a match on the BTW 12 days leg of the tour December 23rd !
Ted Dibiase vs Manny Fernandez : Heenan is not with Ted . Manny is hits a back fist that staggers Ted and then a dropkick knocks him from the ring . Manny surprises the crowd with a Crossbody Plauncha over the top rope . He rolls Ted in and goes up top and gets off a flying leg drop . Manny goes for the Flying Headbutt , but Ted pulls down the top rope and Manny crashes and burns through the announcers table . He’s not anywhere from moving at the 10 count . Ted picks up a very unpopular victory .

X Division Championship MJF vs Dynamite Kid : Dynamite pushes the champion to the limit . When he goes for his Flying Headbutt on the Champion , Wardlow shakes the ropes . The ref doesn’t see it . MJF then hits the Heat Seeker for 3 .
End of the night , MJF reminds the crowd , he’s better than them .
