ESTRADA uses his usual array of underhanded tactics but OWEN overcomes that and hits an enziguri follwed by a pin to get things started!
2nd Match:WWF TV Champion: PAUL ORNDORFF w/ The GRAND WIZARD vs DAVEY BOY SMITH in a non title match
This match is a great battle between tow really strong and powerful guys and when it's all said and done,the match is ruled a 15 minute draw!
3RD mATCH: WWF TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH
The ZAMBUII EXPRESS (C) vs ROCKY JOHNSON/TONY ATLAS
These four really are almost evenly matched in the strength department with the ZX having a slight edge!
Bit ATLAS and RJ have the speed advantage and everyone kinda cancels each other out !
But the champs prevailn as RJ gets counted out of the ring!
4th Match:KING KONG BUNDY w/CAPTAIN LOU ALBANO vs BIG JOHN STUDD
Plenty tests of strength are done here along with quite a few instances of interference by the good captain!
But in the end,BUNDY misses an avalanche,STUDD hits a big elbow and gets the pin!
5th Match:BAD NEW BROWN vs BUTCH REED
In their first meeting since the break up,it's about what we expected....brawling and just beating the hell outta each other!
After the ref gets shoved down by each man as he tries to enforce the rules,he has no choice but to issue a double DQ !
This doesnt keep these two from brawling all the way to the back!
6th Match:SUPERSTAR BILLY GRAHAM w/LORD ALFRED HAYES vs HULK HOGAN
Tests of strength and power vs power is the name of the game here but this actually turns into a bloody brawl and after HAYES distracts HOGAN,SBG takes advantage and lays out HOGAN with a foreign object to get a very unpopular and tainted win!
MAIN EVENT WWF HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
MAGNIFICENT MURACO (C) vs BRUNO SAMMARTINO
A great battle as BRUNO'S new found of aggressiveness is on full display!
But in the end MURACO takes advantage of a BRUNO mishap and hots a tombstone on SAMMARTINO and gets a pinfall as the crowd goes wild!!
