No , today there was this ….. ( pulls out a contract packet) . Inside this here brown envelope was a contact. I looked it over and the contract said the American Dream Dusty Rhodes is requested in Las Vegas . That’s right , sin city , daddy . I am to defend the World Heavyweight Title against a big bad man named Mike Awesome ! Mike Awesome, I’ve seen you around daddy and it ain’t know joke . 6’8 , 295 pounds ! Big , strong , powerful man that has true heavyweight power baby , and moves like a junior heavyweight.
Now I don’t face too many men like you . You have earned an opportunity at the American Dream to go after the greatest prize in all of sports . Not the O’ Brien Trophy , not the Lombardi Trophy, Not the NBA Finals Trophy . There are no World Series to win and no ugly green jackets to wear . No ! There is this …. ( holds up the world heavyweight title ) . Ten pounds of beautiful gold and look at those diamonds and rubies . The IWA World Heavyweight Title . If you look deep in the engraving , you can see the names of legends .
Hulk Hogan, The Nature Bot Ric Flair and right next to that name , The American Dream Dusty Rhodes. Now we have men who want their name on this title next . Rick Rude , Jimmy Snuka , CM Punk , Jeff Cobb , Ted Dibaise have all tried and all haven’t got the job done . Now Mike Awesome, you want to put your name on here ? Do you have what it takes daddy ? Are you willing to put your whole heart in it ? Are willing to lay it all in the line ? Are you ready to leave it all in the ring ? Are you willing to bleed for it ? Well if you answer yes , to any of these questions, you might , just might become the new World Heavyweight Champion .
Dusty pulls out a duffel bag and puts the belt in it . He stands up , tips his cowboy hat back a little . He grabs up the duffel bag his wife comes into the dining room and gives him a thermos and then puts a lip lock from hell on him .
Dusty hugs her for a long moment .
Dusty : Ain’t she a pretty tiny thing . I love her too pieces . I gotta leave her, I gotta plane to catch . You see she depends on me too . Mike Awesome , it’s time to pay the bills baby !

Earthquake John Tenta vs Magic Dragon : Kabuki comes out to ringside with MD . He looks on as MD uses a series of strikes And nerve holds to wear Tenta down . Tenta though gets off a belly to belly and then a running Powerslam on MD . He hits the Earthquake Splash for 3 . Kabuki walks away .

Sam : Earthquake John Tenta . You have an opportunity of a lifetime coming up at the Elimination Chamber Bunkhouse Finale .
Tenta : Sam , not only will I win the Bunkhouse Trophy and $1,000,000 , but I’ll also maybe catch on to a roster . I’ve been waiting a long time for this and Sept . 3rd at the MGM Grand , the fans here in Vegas are going to feel an Earthquake!

Brad : That’s right , Sam . Me and Daddy have wrestled all over the place and now we are the IWGP Tag Team Champions . A few months ago people laughed at the idea , now we are ranked number 2 in the world and we were number 1 the month before .
Bob : Things are going good for us and our family . Me and Brad though , the end is in sight . We got the semi finals of the Open coming up and brother , I’ll tell you what . We plan to win the whole thing . Chris Adams and Terry Taylor , let’s have a match for the ages guys and Gino , you stick your big ugly nose in our business at the Open , we might improve your looks by breaking it , baby .

RVD vs Jimmy Garvin : The fans explode when RVD comes out . He uses his speed and highflying to keep Garvin off balance. Garvin rakes the eyes and slows the match down by using a headlock. Garvin punishes RVD , but RVD fights back and gets off a spinning heel kick , followed by a split legged Moonsault. RVD goes up top , but Garvin falls into the ropes upon standing and RVD crashes and burns . Garvin with a Brainbuster and the 3 count .
