AWA # 25 : 25th Episode Special
Gordon : Hello and welcome to Resch Center here on the campus of Greenbay University. Tonight it is our 25th episode celebration. Let’s not wait any longer . Let’s go to the ring for our first match .
James Storm vs Trevor Murdoch : This is a fight . Murdoch hits the Bulldog from up top on Storm and the masked cowboy from the Bunkhouse makes his appearance again . He hits a Death Drop ( reverse DDT ) . Now he and Storm hit Murdoch with a Spiked Piledriver . The masked man pulls off his mask revealing ……
Gordon : Wait a minute !!! That’s Wildcat Chris Harris !!! It appears that the once Americas Most Wanted is back together again. . We have not seen them together since the original days of the old NWA . This could spell bad news for the AWA . Right now let’s go back to the ring .
WGN Television Title Mr . Perfect Curt Hennig ( w/ Bobby Heenan ) vs Tommy “Wildfire “ Rich: Rich takes the fight right to Hennig , but he is outclassed by a superior wrestler . Hennig hits the Perfectplex for 3 .
Gordon : Another solid title defense for Mr . Perfect . When we come back Rosemary puts her AWA Women’s Championship on the line against Hikaru Shida

AWA Women’s Championship Rosemary vs Hikaru Shida : Shida doesn’t waist time . She lights the champion up with hard forearm shots and then a corner Kneelift . Shida hits a bridging German for 2 . She goes for the Shining Wizard , but Rosemary moves and Shida hits the corner hard . Rosemary with an Exploder and then hits the Red Wedding. She gets the 3 .
Gordon : Our Woman’s champion is turning heads . Like her or not . Right now we got a grudge match . The Giant and The Undertaker simply don’t like one another . It all comes to a head right now !
The Giant Paul Wight ( w/ Bobby Heenan ) vs The Undertaker : This picks up from where it left off last time . The ring doesn’t contain these two for long . Giant chokeslams Taker through the time keepers table . The ref waves the match off . The Giant is not finished however . He grabs up Taker and powebombs him into the steel ring post . Taker is out , but he starts to stir a bit . Heenan talks his man into getting the hell out of there .
Gordon : EMT’s are checking on the Undertaker . This might spell bad news for him . We’ll be back .

Gordon : Welcome back . While we were away , the Undertaker stood up and left the arena under his own power . The Giant and Heenan might have a receipt coming their way .
Up next we have a women’s match . The winner of this match will go on to face Trish Stratus at GFW and NJPW G1 at Madison Square Garden for the GFW Woman’s Championship. Let’s go to the ring .
Medusa vs Shayna Baszler : These two pull out all the stops . Medusa almost knocks Baszler cold with a spinning back kick . Baszler saves herself by grasping the rope . Medusa sets for a Off the top rope dropkick , which Baszler turns into a Powebomb . Baszler works a arm bar . Medusa gets to the ropes . Baszler stomps away on her until she falls to the outside . Baszler grabs a chair and closes in on Medusa . Medusa with a Superkick to the chair . It hits Baszler I’m the face !!! Baszler is out . Medusa rolls in . Baszler never makes it back in .
Gordon : Medusa is your winner and she will move on to face her friend Trish Stratus.
Right now it’s a rematch for the AWA Heavyweight Title. Let’s go to the ring .
AWA Heavyweight Title Ted Dibase vs Kerry Von Erich: These two put on an epic battle . Von Erich gets the claw on Ted . Ted is bleeding . He falls backward into the ropes . Off the break Ted staggers out of the ring , grabs his title and staggers to the back .
Gordon : The champion just baled out . Kerry Von Erich is your winner . Im sure another opportunity is soon to follow . We’ll be back with the World Television Title match .

IWA World Television Title Manny Fernandez vs Bobby Lashley ; Every Time these two meet , it’s all out war and this is no exception. Hard hitting , hard nosed action . After a Spinebuster , Lashley sets up for a spear , but Manny leapfrogs his man , side belly to belly by Manny . Lashley kicks out at two . Manny now with quick short flash kicks . He has Lashley reeling . Spinning back fist by Manny . He knocks Lashley over the top rope . He goes out and rolls him in . Manny sets for the Flying Headbutt , but Lashley turns it into a Powerslam!!! Lashley with a Spear !!! He now picks up Manny for a Dominator , Manny shifts his weight and falls across Lashley for 3 .
Freddy : Here is the time , 43 minutes and 22 seconds your winner and still World Television Champions, Manny Fernandez!!!
Gordon : One has to wonder is this the final shot for Bobby Lashley . When we come back , it’s the IWA World Heavyweight Title Match. Dusty Rhodes vs Adam Cole!! We’ll be back .

IWA World Heavyweight Title Dusty Rhodes vs Adam Cole: Dusty in the early going sets up Cole with some solid left jabs and then unloads with the Flip Flop and Fly . Cole falls out to the floor . Dusty goes out after him , low blow by Cole and then a jumping enzuguri. He rolls Dusty in and now his a firemen’s carry neck breaker . He covers 1……2……. Nooooo ! Dusty kicks out . Cole pulls his man up ….. tornado DDT!!! He covers again , but Dusty’s foot is on the ropes .
Cole now works a chinlock to wear Dusty down . The crowd gets behind and he works to his feet , Dusty gets to the ropes for the break and Cole tries a cheap shot , but Dusty blocks it and returns a forearm and then shakes his finger at Cole . Cole begs Dusty off , but Dusty hits a bodyslam and then locks in. Figure Four . Cole tries to reverse it , but can’t . So he reaches the ropes .
Cole rolls out to the floor and Dusty gets out on the ring apron . Cole jumps up and nails an apron DDT !!! Dusty falls to the floor . Cole waits as Dusty staggers up and get off a Panama Sunset on the floor !!! Cole rolls Dusty back in the ring . Cole waits for Dusty to stagger up and unloads with a Superkick attempt , but Dusty catches the leg and gets off an Atomic Knee Drop !! Cole favoring his knee gets to his feet ….. BELLY TO BELLY !!!! Dusty covers 1………2…….3!!!

Not sure what that is all about because imo anything before the IWA does not exist here.Harris/Storm must of been a team in the independents before IWA started.
