Bill Apter: "Hello wrestling fans! Bill Apter here, coming to you live from beautiful Coors Field! I will be running solo tonight as my ysual broadcast partner, Brooke Hogan, will be accompaning Jungle Jack Perry during his match against Ricky Starks! And what a main event we have as the IWA World title is on the line as Dusty Rhodes defends against Jimmy Snuka! And to kick things off..... we have Okada against Kenny Omega in w out of 3 falls! Match One: Okada vs Kenny Omega for the GFW Gen-Next title (2 out of 3 falls) They fought to ringside where Okada whipped Omega into the barricade and then kicked him over it. Okada ran and dove over the barricade, but Omega was waiting with a V-Trigger knee. Omega slammed Okada onto a piece of the barricade, then rolled him back inside the ring and covered him for a two count.
Omega kicked the back of Okada, who motioned for him to bring it. Omega obliged and then delivered a running kick and got another two count. Okada came back and went for a Cobra Clutch, but Omega was able to dump him to ringside. Omega went for a dive, but Okada moved. Okada performed a dive over the top and took out Omega. Back in the ring, Omega performed a huracanrana that sent Okada to the floor. Omega performed a slide kick that sent Okada over the guardrail then Omega performed a springboard dive over the guardrail and onto Okada on the floor.
Back in the ring, Omega was on the offensive and went for a V-Trigger. Okada ducked it and went for a German suplex, but Omega landed on his feet. Omega connected with a V-Trigger. Okada came right back with a suplex into a bridge for a two count. They fought near the ropes. Okada ended up hitting a Tombstone piledriver on the apron. When Omega got back to his feet, Okada dropkicked him off the apron and into the barricade at ringside. Back in the ring, Okada performed a great missile dropkick to the face of a kneeling Omega and got another two count. Okada signaled for the Rainmaker, but Omega sent him to ringside and then performed a flip dive onto Okada on the floor. Omega held his side
Omega rolled Okada back inside the ring and then hit a missile dropkick to the back of his head and covered him for a near fall. Omega connected with a V-Trigger and then performed a German suplex into a bridge for another good near fall. Omega performed another V-Trigger, but Okada came right back with a dropkick to the back of Omega’s head. Okada followed up with a dropkick and then let out a primal scream. Omega ducked a Rainmaker clothesline and connected with a V-Trigger for yet another near fall. Okada rebounded with a Tombstone piledriver and let out a primal scream. Okada went for a Rainmaker. Omega ducked it and wrapped behind to go for a pin, but then Okada sat down on him and hooked the legs for the pin.
Winner of the first fall...... OKADA!
There was a 30 second rest period. Apter noted on commentary that Omega now had the daunting task of trying to beat Okada twice. Okada smiled as the referee kept them apart before the bell rang to start the next fall. They went to ringside. Omega leapt onto the guardrail only to have Okada shove him off into another guardrail. Okada performed a draping DDT onto the floor. Back in the ring, Okada stood and took chops from Omega, who then ran the ropes and ran into a big boot from Okada.
Omega bounced back and tossed a table onto Okada on the floor. Omega went to the apron and performed a double stomp. Okada whipped Omega into the post and then held his ribs. Both men rolled back inside the ring. Okada went for a senton only to have Omega put his knees up. Okada responded with a suplex. Omega performed a superplex moments later. Okada recovered and pointed to a table at ringside. He went for a backdrop, but Omega avoided it. They ended up on the apron and this time it was Omega nodding at the table on the floor. Omega went for a German suplex from the apron twice, but Okada held on both times. Omega pounded his back and set up for a dragon suplex, but Okada fought him off. They ended up on the floor where Omega performed a reverse huracanrana.
Okada returned to the ring and caught him with a V-Trigger and set up for his finisher, but Okada countered into a Tombstone piledriver. Okada went for a Rainmaker, but Omega performed a uranage. Both men traded blows in the middle of the ring and then Omega performed a wicked suplex. Okada no-sold it and dropkicked Omega, who responded with a dropkick of his own. Omega performed a powerbomb and then a V-Trigger. Moments later, Okada had Omega pinned the same way he won the first fall, but Omega escaped. Omega performed a V-Trigger and a piledriver for an excellent near fall. Omega performed another V-Trigger and a One Winged Angel and got the pin!

After the 30 Second break, Okada was still down. Omega hit a V-Trigger to the back of the head as soon as the bell rang. Omega set up for his finisher. Okada avoided it and hit a Rainmaker clothesline. Both men stayed down. Okada crawled over and draped his arm over Omega, 1......2.......Omega kicked out at the last moment!
Omega performed a Styles Clash for another dramatic near fall that had the crowd rocking. Okada was leaning with his face in the corner. Omega caught him with a V-Trigger. Omega went to pick him up in electric chair position, but he collapsed. Omega hoisted him up, then they jockeyed for position with both going for Tombstone piledrivers. Omega won that battle and hit a spike version for another near fall.
Omega went up top and went for a Phoenix Splash. Omega went for the move, but Okada rolled out of the way. Okada caught Omega with a dropkick to the back. Omega came back with a V-Trigger. Omega delivered another V-Trigger. He set up for another, but Okada blocked it. Okada went for a Tombstone, but Omega blocked it. Okada caught him with a dropkick. Okada went for the Rainmaker, but he collapsed before he could connect. Both men were down as The ref counted, but both men got to their knees and traded forearms.
Omega caught Okada with a hard slap. Okada returned the favor. Omega headbutted Okada, who got up slowly and connected with a Rainmaker. Okada stood up Omega and blasted him with another Rainmaker. Okada fell down and then crawled over to Omega and picked him up off the mat and went for another Rainmaker, but Omega ducked it and performed a German suplex. Omega held onto the waistlock and then performed a German suplex and once again held on. They got to their feet and this time Okada countered into a suplex of his own. Okada held onto the waistlock and went for another Rainmaker, but Omega once again ducked it and performed a German suplex. Omega followed up with a reverse huracanrana. Omega got up and ran the ropes and took a dropkick.
Okada went for another Rainmaker, but Omega countered into a One Winged Angel that resulted in both men being down by the ropes. Omega got up and connected with a V-Trigger and then hit another Rainmaker and scored the clean pin!
Winner of the 3rd fall......AND STILL YOOUR GFW NEX- GEN CHAMPION........ KENNY OMEGA!!!!!
The fans chant "MATCH OF THE YEAR" as Omega takes his title and heads to the dressing room.
Match Two: Eddie Kingston vs Lance Archer Eddie fired off a crazy amount of machine gun chops in the corner that brightened up the chest of Archer. Kingston was caught with a stalling exploder suplex that sent Eddie outside and Archer hit a massive tope to the floor. Back inside, both men traded chops and forearms before Archer sat down on the chest of Kingston for two. Archer & Kingston both missed corner splashes, but Eddie hit a running STO for the double down. Both men started slapping each other while on their knees and it changed to forearms and chops on their feet. Kingston hit an enzugiri, big boot, ran into a Black Hole Slam for a two count for Archer who followed with a corner cannonball. Archer hit a wild lariat for two and couldn’t believe it. Both men no sold exploder suplexes, but Kingston’s second one connected. Archer screamed he was going to break Kingston’s neck, but Eddie hit two spinning back fists for the victory.
Match Three: The Steiners vs FTR w/Dan Lambert for the GFW Tag titles Scott rams Wheeler from turnbuckle to turnbuckle. Hardwood tries to help and gets a series of right hands from Rick for it. Rick tags in proper. Shoulderblocks for everyone! Steiner applies a side headlock and Hardwood turns it into a suplex. Scott tags in and bodypresses him for two. Referee gets distracted and Scott takes a crazy bump, as Hardwood gives Steiner a gourdbuster in the ring but sending him straight to the floor with nothing to break his fall. Wheeler meets him out there and attacks with the stairs.
Back in, Hardwood gets maximum impact with a dropkick square in Scott’s face. Dax goes for another dropkick but Scott ducks and makes the tag. Rick fights the world. All four men end up in the ring, and Dan Lambert slides a chair in the ring too, so Wheeler gives Scott a double underhook right on the chair, aggravating the already injured back, and gets the three-count! FTR ARE YOUR NEWWWW GFW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS!
Match Four: Jungle Jack Perry w/Brooke Hogan vs Ricky Starks Starks instantly starts talking trash to Jungle then turns his attention to Brooke and Jungle immediately rolls him up for a quick one count and hen caftches him with a dropkick.
Jungle hits a triple springboard into a Lucha Armdrag but Starks quickly takes him down and goes for the Boston crab. Jungle counters into a Hurricanrana for a nearfall but then eats a Forearm Smash. Starks hits a Snake Eyes onto the top rope and starts to take control in the corner. Starks hits a Snapmare Takeover and kicks him in the back. Starks taunts Jungle as he lays in some knees and forearms. Starks hits the Codebreaker but doesn’t even go for a pinfall. Starks steps on Jungle and hits a second Codebreaker. Starks covers Jungle but pulls him up before the three count.
Starks slaps him repeatedly and then tosses him to the floor. Jungle surprises Starks with a School Boy for a nearfall, which pisses Starks off as he puts the boots to him. Starks whips Jungle into the ropes but eats a kick. Starks backdrops Jungle over the top but Jungle lands on the apron. Starks goes for a Springboard Dropkick but Jungle ducks and Starks crashes to the floor. Jungle hits a series of Tope Suicida’s followed by a Somersault Plancha on the floor! Back in the ring, Jungle hits a Diving DDT! 1…2…NO Starks kicks out!
Jungle hits a Floatover into a Backstabber for another nearfall. Jungle hits the ropes but runs right into a back elbow. Starks attempts a Lionsault but Jungle moves and hits one of his own! 1…2…NO!!!
Jungle hits the ropes but gets flipped by a Lariat from Starks. Ricky covers but Jungle kicks out again. Starls taunts Jungle again and then catapults Jungle across the bottom rope. Starks stands on Jungles throat. Jungle fights back with a series of forearms and then goes for a backdrop but Starks Powerbombs him and goes for The Buster Keaton (Double Underhook Facebuster) but Jungle transitions into a Boston Crab!
Starks fights and claws his way to the ropes but Jungle pulls him back to the center sits back. Brooke climbs up on the ringapron...... and sprays something in Jungle Jack's eyes!!!! Jungle releases the hold, rubbing his eyes in pain. Starks gets up and hits Jungle with the Rashambo!! 1......2.......3!!! Starks celebrates his win as Brooke enters the ring. She stares at Starks......then they embrace in a hug as the crowd boos!
Match Five: Kota Ibushi vs Jeff Cobb w/Dan Lambert for the GFW Heavyweight title Ibushi threw a running knee and missed before dodging a lariat and hitting a dropkick on Cobb. Cobb was put to the ropes, but stayed on his feet. They’d trade forearm blows in the ring, before Cobb got a quick double leg on Ibushi before some ground and pound. Ibushi rolled to the outside, and Cobb followed to pick Ibushi up and drive him into the ring post. Rolling Ibushi back into the ring, Cobb looked to keep the pressure on and he’d counter the standing moonsault. Cobb drove Ibushi into the corners hard before getting a two count off just this.
Ibushi hung onto the ropes to stay safe, and Cobb just stomped him down to get him free. He’d slow the pace with a chinlock before hitting a quick uppercut to the back, before just walking across the back of Ibushi.
Ibushi countered a standing moonsault before dodging a charge in the corner before hitting a quick strike combo to drop Cobb and getting the standing moonsault. Cobb dodged the next kick and got a back suplex before a Cobbsault landed for a two count. Ibushi put the brakes on to avoid Tour of The Island and sent Cobb outside.
Cobb caught Ibushi as he dove outside and nearly got the powerbomb to the floor, but Ibushi got the top apron and hit a beautiful springboard moonsault from the top rope onto Cobb. This nearly got a count out, but Cobb made it to the apron and Ibushi looked top deadlift 280lbs into a German Suplex.
Cobb counterered and looked for the suplex to the floor. Instead, Ibushi picked him off the top rope with a hurricanrana, and Ibushi used the Boma-Ye and got a two count. Ibushi set up the Kamigoye, but Cobb countered into an underhook Belly to Belly Suplex. Cobb hit a running back suplex for a two count.
Ibushi would be pulled out of the corner into the Sidewinder suplex, before being tossed into the sky instead with a release F-5 for a two count. Cobb nailed Tour of The Islands and gets the pinfall to retain his title.
Main Event: Dusty Rhodes vs Jimmy Snuka w/Jimmy Hart for the IWA World title After some early Rhodes gyrations Snuka works a variety of clubbing blows before settling into a reverse chinlock. A mini comeback by Rhodes is stopped short by an eye rake. Snuka goes for a top rope splash but the Dream moves out of the way. An atomic drop followed by a running crossbody by Rhodes, 1.....2.......NO!! Jimmy Hart climbs on the apron.....only to get caught by Dusty. Hart pleads for mercy as Dusty asks the fans what they want. While this goes on, Ravishing Rick Rude hits the ring. Rude and Snuka attack Rhodes. The ref calls for the bell but that doesn't stop Rude and Snuka. Rude suplexes Dusty to the mat as Snuka climbs the turnbuckles....... SUPERFLY SPLASH TO RHODES!!! Rude then grabs Dusty.......RUDE AWAKENING!!! Rude stands over Dusty gyrating his hip as show fades to black just days before the pay per view showdown between Rude and Dusty for the IWA World title!
