IWA B.O.G. Meeting 5/23/2022

Time to do the doughnuts fellas! We are a little over one week away from the start of the Summer Sizzler tour and the Path to Greatness #1 contender tournament. Its gonna be a busy month so lets get ready for it.

We crowned yet another new world champion last week, so be sure to try and catch up on feedback and book accordingly for your upcoming shows.

Speaking of the Sizzler tour.....we still have two world title matches open for the June 25th pay per view. Lets get those spots filled this week.

Now its time to do nominees. Please send me your top 3 talents per caregory. This is only open for 48 hours and im not going to be sending out reminders to get them in, so hop on them asap.

One thought i forgot to touch on..... since we started up a womens tag division and we dont have world titles for that division. Should we start incorporating womens tag rankings?

i'm gonna say no because we don't have an Official IWA Womens Tag Division.I don't really have any plans of competing in that division right now either,i have a hard enough time with the Womens Singles Division....

I’m going to say yes , because it doesn’t seem like a legit division otherwise .

So I got to thinking about this last night , after I dropped the challenge to Chair . MJF hasn’t been pinned in over a year and has held a world title longer than anyone . Manny Fernandez is red freaking hot , they can’t go any further however . I think if a promoter has one of those two titles , they should be allowed to enter in the rankings and be eligible for the World Heavyweight Title. Now of course if they win , they should have to forfeit their belt and then we have a tourney or something . I mean I’m sure it’s not going to happen often , but I think it would be a great opportunity. What do you guys think ?

I have no problem with a tv or x division champ being listed in the world rabks if their promotor sees fit to do so. I felt on the old board not doing this only held talent back. If your push is good enough to win another title why hold him back?

i like this idea.never knew you couldn't do this.

i didn't know there was a rule here preventing that and i almost listed MANNY this month in my heavyweight rankings tbh

how about increasing the number of managers/valets from 6 to 10 because there are some managers/valets out there i would like use but don't have room for them since we are allowed 6.
