AEW Press Conference

      We see a room full of journalists and media representatives then out comes the brand new owner of AEW..... Tony Khan!





Tony Khan: "Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,  and thank you for joining me today. For those of you who may not know me.... I'm Tony Khan! And as of last week, I'm proud to say that I'm your new owner of AEW! And if you have ever been a fan of professional wrestling,  which I'm sure everyone in attendance is, I'm sure at some point in your life you wondered what it would be like to own your own pro wrestling company! And im no exception to the rule. It's been a dream of mine for many years to what I can now call reality. And I have a few announcements to make today. The first of which was let out if the bag last week during WCW's Year 1 Anniversary show, where I announced that AEW's first signed or draft pick, if you will would be....... Adam Cole!"      





 Tony Khan: "A move that has since created alot of controversy. Coles reputation proceeds him as he has been a champion in every company he has competed for and I'm looking forward to seeing how he fares in AEW!  Another guy I'm excited about signing is a daredevil. And that's Darby Allin!"  





Tony Khan: "Darby is well known around the wrestling world, but be it for his size or maybe even his look, he has never been granted a shot at the higher level. That all changes now! I've been asked several times the past few days if AEW will participate in the women's division and I gladly answer..... absolutely yes! And how could I start any Womens division without one if the best in my opinion..... Kris Statlander!"        





 Tony Khan: "Those are just a few of our signers this far! Keep your eyes open for the entire roster announcements coming soon. But moving on, I would like to discuss the AEW Heavyweight title."          





  Tony Khan: "I can now announce that the first AEW Heavyweight champion will be crowned during the June 12th Summer Sizzler tour in Fayetteville, Arkansas! In what I like to call AEW's Buy In into the IWA! And we will crown that champion in a 21 man Casino Battle Royale match!"  





Tony Khan: "If your not familiar with how that match works, here is the information on that!"            





 Tony Khan: "I believe it's a very exciting time to be a pro wrestling fan and nobody is more excited than me! Fans, we hope to see everyone on June 12th as the AEW Era begins!"
