We get the new TERMINUS intro that plays to ‘THE OTHER SIDE’ by Alter Bridge …. HUGE pyro explodes from the stage as the camera pans the capacity crowd of 19,000 strong inside the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California …. Welcome to Terminus!!!


RECAP:

The show starts off with a furious recap of the events that have happened since the last AEW show, including the events at Survivor Series as well as MANNY FERNANDEZ beating BRYAN DANIELSON to win the IWA Television title on WWF RAW #25 ….

We then go right into a hype video detailing the matches that we are going to see tonight:

MATCH 1: AUSTIN THEORY vs. DAMIEN PRIEST vs. ALEXANDER HAMMERSTONE ———— 3 Way Dance:HAMMERSTONE gets an impressive win of Terminus’ newest signees after pinning PRIEST following hitting a Valkyrie Missile (claymore) while PRIEST has THEORY set up for the Reckoning ….


VIGNETTE -

Following this match we get a vignette for another new member of the Terminus roster, SHINSUKE NAKAMURA ….


Up next, former IWA world Television champion BRYAN DANIELSON comes out to the ring for his first comments since Survivor Series and losing the title to MANNY FERNANDEZ ….

QUINN asks him first about Survivor Series, and DANIELSON shakes his head and visibly becomes angry …. QUINN tries to move on and asks him about losing the TV title, and DANIELSON gets even MORE angry and he starts shaking his head ‘no’ …. DANIELSON is so pissed off that he walks out without saying anything and goes to the back ….


MATCH 2: KENNY OMEGA issues an open challenge for the GFW NextGen Title:Omega wants an opponent, and out comes  ….

These two engage in a hard hitting matchup that Omega wins with the One Winged Angel …

POST MATCH: Cult of Personality hits and out comes CM Punk …. Punk gets nose to nose with Omega and then just smiles and turns around and walks out ….


MATCH 3: THE ROCK vs. JaCOB FATU w/ Roman Reigns ———— Singles Match:FATU dominates the ROCK for a good part of the match, but ROCK rallies …. He hits the Roxk Bottom but FATU kicks out!  ROCK goes for the People’s Elbow next, but as he comes off the ropes he gets cut off with a Superman punch from REIGNS!  The ref calls for the bell ….

POST MATCH: FATU and REIGNS double team the ROCK, with FATU hitting the triple jump moonsault …. They take ROCK to the floor and REIGNS puts him through the announce table with a powerbomb!!!!  REIGNS tells ROCK that he’s not part of the family anymore and now HE is the black sheep!



MATCH 3: SASHA BANKS vs. CARMELLA w/ Awesome Kong ———— Women’s Match:Sasha is leery of Kong stalking the outside of the ring, and for good reason as she eventually gets involved as Sasha has the Banks Statement locked on Carmella …. Kong gets on the apron, causing Sasha to break the hold, but Sasha hits a dropkick …. It doesn’t even knock Kong off the apron, but Carmella tries to cheap shot Sasha off the distraction with the Princess kick but Sasha avoids it and she hits Kong instead, knocking her to the floor … Sasha hits the backstabber into the Banks Statement for the tap out on Carmella ….

POST MATCH: Carmella yells at Kong, but Kong grabs her by the throat!  Choke slam to Carmella!  Kong walks off leaving Carmella a heap in the ring ….


RECAP:

We get a video package of RHEA RIPLEY’s impressive performance for her team at Survivor Series, eliminating both CHARLOTTE and TESSA …. The announcers speculate that could land RHEA in the #1 contender spot for the Terminus womens title ….


MATCH 4: (Champions) RICK & SCOTT STEINER vs. GOOD BROTHERS (Gallows & Anderson) ———— GFW Tag Team Title Match:big boss fight between all these guys …. STEINERS win with the Doomsaday DDT ….

After the match SCOTT gets on the mic and declares that the GFW tag belts are more important than the Terminus tag belts because they are always defending them and FTR is always running …. Out come DAN LAMBERT and FTR …. LAMBERT says that doesn’t make the GFW belts more important, that just means the STEINERS are dumber than FTR because FTR only fights when the money is right …. THE STEINERS are trying to prove something but FTR has nothing to prove because they are already the best tag team on this planet ….

‘Reach for the Sky Boys!’ and out come THE BRISCOES …. JAY says they both like to talk a lot but THE BRISCOES would rather fight than talk …. He says they should settle things in a triple threat match next week! ….


MAIN EVENT: (Champion) ‘Heartbreak Kid’ SHAWN MICHAELS vs. ‘Hangman’ ADAM PAGE ———— Terminus Elite title match:This is an epic showdown that has been building since last summer when PAGE broke out as part of the Inner Circles ‘Rager at Sea’ …. HBK was able to fend off PAGE’s challenge, but PAGE has learned from that as well as his feud with HOUSE OF BLACK …. There are a lot of callbacks to their first match, including HBK trying to hit Sweet Chin Music as a counter to the Buckshot lariat …. This time PAGE is ready and catches his foot, pulling him into the Dead Eye for a 2.99999!!!!  PAGE presses the advantage, finally hitting the Buckshot to score the win and become the new Terminus Elite Champion!!!!   ….

POST MATCH: PAGE celebrates his victory, but his music is cut off as KURT ANGLE’s music hits!!!!  We haven’t seen ANGLE in awhile and he comes out on the stage to stare down PAGE to end the show ….

Hammerstone has been passed around a bit in the fed......will Terminus finally be the place he breaks through
