Sam: Hello Fans and welcome to this live Selection Show at Breslin Stadium in Lansing . Home of the Michigan State Spartans . Everyone wanted to be a part of this show so we had to move it to a much larger location . Little did we know we would sell out .
Fans , this is the Survivor Series team selection show. All participants have selected their teams and you will hear them here first . I’m joined by my Survivor Series team of the top wrestling commentators and analyst in the game today .
Gordon Solie .
Gordon Solie: Sam , always a pleasure sir .

Jim Ross : We got some great action headed your way folks and what a Survivor Series this is gonna be . Sam thank you for this privilege.

Lance Russell : WOW , look at this crowd . They are chomping at the bit to hear these match ups . Sam , it’s been a long time .

Jim : What a line up . One guy sticks out for me is the Awesome One Man Gang . He is a killer . I honestly think he gives Ric Flair nightmares at night and these two are going to be on the same team .
Sam : Lance Russell?
Lance : Rick Rude is going to be tough to eliminate. I watch him every week on USWA . He thrives on competing and will do whatever it takes to win . Being USWA Champion didn’t happen on accident .
Sam : David ?
Crockett: Shawn Micheal has held the AEW title for over a year . He’s got a motor that doesn’t slow down and I don’t want to be Dusty Rhodes eating that Superkick .
Sam : Finally Gordon
Gordon: Interesting selection of Jeff Cobb . He has given Dusty all kinds of problems in AWA and GFW .
JR : Sam did you notice 4 out of the five men are champions ?
Sam : I hadn’t thought about that Jim . Your right . Ric Flair always goes after the best .
Moving onto team Dusty . He is of course the AWA and GFW Heavyweight Champion . The only man to hold a major regional title and a International touring title . His first selection

Lance : Don Muraco is a force in this group . A technical marvel , who can brawl with the best of them . He’s also had to finishing holds . His Tombstone Piledriver and the Asian Spike . Look out .
Sam : Gordon ?
Gordon : Two of the members of Dusty’s team are not only former IWA World Champions , but also fellow Wolfpack members .
David Crockett?
Crockett: On the other side . As Gordon stated . Dusty knows these men very well . Ric Flair doesn’t have one Horsemen .
Sam : JR ?
JR : Who on this team knows Ric Flair and how he thinks better than that damn Texas Rattle Snake Steve Austin . Nobody .
Sam : Fans we have a match right now . Dick The Bruiser and The Crusher taking on The Vachons .

Gordon : Again familiarity. They are good friends and team mates with the WWF Tag Team Champions the Zambuii Express

Lance : I know the Sheepherders all to well . They are a nasty team and like to hurt people . I can see these two lunatics not only going after the opposing team , but maybe their team mates .
Sam :JR ?
JR : The Road Warriors are just awesome . Big , strong , powerful . Undefeated in WCW . Somebody is gonna lose their damn head .
Sam : David ?
David : Rock N Roll Express bring quickness to this team and are true specialist . They tag more frequently than any team in IWA , an interesting choice . They don’t gel with anyone else .
Sam : Now the Freebirds . They selected first

Crockett: Now I get it . RNR are their because they know the Midnight Express all too well . Bobby and Dennis take no prisoners.
Sam : JR ?
JR : Vader and Bam Bam have been devastating since coming to WCW . They are killing machines .
Gordon ?
Gordon ; The Pain Makers are a new team , but are going counter balance Hawk and Animal. Size , speed and power .
Sam : Lance ?
Lance : FTR is probably the most sound and most technical on either team . They are going to be the work horse of the team I predict . Kind of like what Emit Smith used to be for the Cowboys in the second half on those old championship teams .
Sam : Right now we got a match . The Pain Makers are defending their Great Lakes Tag Team Titles against Naito and Ultimo Dragon :
This is a speedy team and they keep Awesome and Warrior at bay for a bit , until Warrior catches Dragon with a clothesline and then Awesome hits the frog splash for the victory .
David : Sam , just imagine if that was the Rock N Roll Express . Not only lighting quick , but the tags in and out and Ricky and Robert would never get caught like that . That’s what they will be facing .
Sam : Good point David . Before we get to the Women’s division Lance Russell is standing by with Shawn Michaels .

Lance : That’s a big statement considering the men you are sharing the ring with .

Gordon : Well we all know why Thunder Rosa was selected . She has always been a thorn in the side of Dr. Britt Baker since she became World Champion . Smart play by Toni Storm here .
Sam : We have a great match up for you . The Road Warriors taking on Big Van Vader and Bam Bam Bigelow .
This is power on power . Hawk press slams Bam Bam . Vader powebombs Animal . Bam Bam later in the match gets off a dropkick that sends Hawk out of the ring . Animal executes a Superplex on Vader . Both teams Duke it out . Then the bell .

Lance : Interesting Jushin Thunder Liger along with Tiger Mask and Okada gives this team an edge . They all came from the Inoki dojo and wrestle each other a lot . Good friends . That could spell problems for MJF .
Sam : Finally David .
David ; Brian Pillman can be a loose cannon as everyone knows . His unpredictability gives him an edge in this match up no one else has .
Sam : Before we get to our final division. Gordon Solie is standing by with Dr . Britt Baker the World Women’s Champion .
Gordon : Thanks Sam . Dr . Baker , quite a technical team you put together here .
Britt : You lead with that ? Ok yeah , of course , every good dentist or surgeon knows you have to surround yourself with good helpers to be successful.
Gordon : Helpers . These wrestlers ….
Britt : Oh Gordon , I’m not sure why the call you the Dean of Wrestling. You are obviously dumb about how wrestling works .
Yes . They are good wrestlers , I chose them for that reason , but they are here to assist like my staff at the office . I mean I’m the star here . They are just second , third and fourth best .

Hogan controls the early going . His power is in full display , but HBK’s craftiness and speed take over . HBK late in the match , misses a elbow drop . Hogan goes for the Python Clutch, but HBK gets out , takes one step back …. BAM!!! Sweet Chin Music . He covers and gets the 3 !!!
