Big Time Wrestling # 1 . Redemption of a Champion .
From Clash of Champions :
Buddy Rose has been eliminated. We are down to our last two men in the ladder match . Verne Gagne and Booker T .
As the belt is getting hung , however Fred Blassie runs out and puts a Mandible Claw on Verne . Booker bales out and grabs a chair and blast Blassie with it . Booker tosses the chair to the side . Verne is out cold . Booker begs the ref to give Verne time , but the ref tells him , “ this is the Clash , it’s tv time , so no . “
A dejected Booker T climbs the ladder , grabs the belt , but doesn’t celebrate. He walks to the back , but not happy about the way things went down .
Sam Menekar : Hello fans and welcome to Studio 13 from Detroit. I’m Sam Menekar . Jimmy Lennon, what’s going on in the ring right now ?
Jimmy : Sam , I’m joined by the Michigan Heavyweight Champion , Booker T .
Booker : Wally Karbo , unless you want this belt tossed in the trash , get your ass out here , now , sucka .
Karbo comes to the ring .
Karbo : Let’s get one thing straight young man , you don’t run things around here , I do . And the way I see it , life has been treating you good . Look at that belt .
Booker : That’s the problem . I don’t like the way it went down . Some kind of bs about IWA , Clash and TV time . I didn’t earn it . Verne was hurt .
Karbo : Is that what you’re upset about . Mr . Gagne , please join us .
The fans pop as Verne comes to ringside .
Karbo : Thank you Verne ….
Verne : Let me stop you for a minute Wally . Booker T , young man you are a great athlete and a great wrestler . There is no shame in winning that belt , you earned it .
Booker : Mr . Gagne , not that way . It should have been the two of us on top of that ladder , fighting for all it was worth .
Verne : Booker T , what do you want from me ?
Booker : Redemption, tonight , you and me one on one for this belt . If you win , your the new Michigan Heavyweight Champion. If I win , I can look at myself in the mirror .
Verne : You want a match . Ok , young man , you’re on , but I’m coming for that belt .
Booker : That’s all I want . Let’s do this right .
Karbo : Gentlemen, then we have an agreement . Verne Gagne vs Booker T for the Michigan Heavyweight Title tonight .
Jimmy Lennon: Fans there you have it . Sam back to you .
Sam : Fans , what a way to kick off our first show . We will have our first match after these messages .

Our main event will be for the Great Lakes Tag Team Titles. A tourney final determined by a tourney tonight . Four teams with the last two advancing tonight and we start now with Jimmy Lennon .
Jimmy Lennon: Fans this is a Great Lakes Tag Team Tourney match first team number one being led to the ring by their manager . At an awesome total combined weight of 872 pounds Jerry Blackwell and Moose Cholack .
Their opponents. From Mexico Tito Santana and from San Juan Puerto Rico Pedro Morales They are the Latino Express!!!
The Express look good on the early going . They have the heavier team gasping for air . Pedro works over Moose’s ribs , but Percy distracts him by tripping him up . Blackwell comes in and clubs him from behind . Tito tries to get in , but the ref holds him back .
Moose and Blackwell pound Pedro in the corner . But Pedro gets off a dropkick and makes the tag to Tito . Tito a dropkick on Moose and then a flying double forearm to Jerry . He goes for the pin on Blackwell , but Percy puts his foot on the ropes showing the ref . Moose comes in with a elbow across the back of Tito’s head and then the two hit a double splash on Tito . Blackwell covers while Percy holds on to the leg Pedro as the ref counts 3 .
Jimmy Lennon: Your winners Jerry Blackwell and Moose !!!
Sam : Fans we have another big team match now . Let’s go the ring .
Dick The Bruiser and The Crusher vs The Vachons : The ring can’t contain the two teams . The ref tosses out the match .
Sam : Wait a minute fans , we have to have a decision here by Wally Karbo . Only one team is left . I’m guessing Blackwell and Moose are Great Lakes Tag Team Champions ? We will be back and have a decision.

Jimmy Lennon fans , welcome back here is Wally Karbo .
Karbo : Well I guess Jerry Blackwell and Moose Cholak are the Great Lakes Tag Team Champions . Percy congratulations.
Percy is celebrating with his team .
Karbo : But tomorrow night they have to defend those belts against competition to hold onto them . That team will be against a team that just signed contracts . The Ultimate Warrior and The Gladiator Mike Awesome. The Pain Makers .
Percy : No !! No way !!!
Karbo : Either defend or forfeit .
Percy : Karbo , you will hear from our lawyer !!!
Karbo : I know , Percy . Now tomorrow night , the Vachons and Bruiser and Crusher will meet in a No DQ match . On with the show .
Sam : Fans more action when we come back .

Sam : Fans welcome back , we have a women’s match . Jimmy Lennon take it away .
Jimmy Lennon: Fans this is a one fall with a ten minute time limit . From Columbia South Carolina, The Fabulous Moolah . Her opponent from Tijuana , Mexico Thunder Rosa .
Rosa controls the early going , but Moolah gets dirty . She chokes Rosa in the ropes and then puts a knee in her back . Rosa falls to the outside of the ring . Moolah slams her on the floor .
She rolls Rosa in and goes for another bodyslam , but Rosa gets out the back door and lights Moolah up with strikes . Rosa hits a Powerbomb . She goes for a Fire Thunder Driver when the bell rings signaling a time limit draw . The crowd begs for five more minutes , but it’s not granted .
Sam : Fans, what a great match when we come back , we will have our main event and then Jimmy Lennon will run down tomorrow nights card one last time . There are changes added .

Sam : It’s main event time . Jimmy Lennon take it away .
Jimmy Lennon: Fans this match is one fall with a 20 minute time limit , it is for the Michigan Heavyweight Title. First the challenger from Mound , Minnesota, Verne Gagne. His opponent is the Michigan Heavyweight Champion , from Texas , Booker T .
Verne gives Booker a wrestling lesson out of the gate . He trips him up with a drop toe hold and then grapevines the legs Booker gets to the ropes . Booker gets to his feet and Verne hits a flying head scissors. Then a dropkick . Verne with a couple of solid hip-tosses and then a body scissors.
Booker works to his feet and gets off a buckle bomb . He covers for two . Verne is in the ropes . Booker hits a Spine Buster and then an arm wringer , hook kick combo . He goes up for the Harlem Hangover , but Verne moves !!! Verne with a dropkick !! Booker staggers up into the Sleeper . Booker falls into the ropes .
Verne breaks clean . They lock up and Verne goes for a German Suplex, but Booker lands on his feet . Verne spins around and runs right into the Book End !! Booker covers 1….2…..3 !!
After the match the two men embrace abs shake hands . They never see Blassie sneak in with a chair and he lays out both of them . Then sinks the Mandible Claw on Booker .
Monte Brown comes down and chases off Blassie . He then checks on both men .
Sam : Fans a great first night of action . Here is Jimmy Lennon one last time to run down tomorrow nights card in Niles at the 55 inside the Grand LV hotel .

And your new main event . Verne Gagne will go up against Fred Blassie in a no holds barred match .
