[Prince Devitt vs Kota Ibushi]
Pound for pound two of the best juniors on the planet today … If anyone was hoping for the breakneck pace to die down … They would have been left wanting … Devitt gave it his all but it simply would not be good enough … Ibushi kept on striking away and eventually the bolts on the door would unhinge … Ibushi would move on ending Devitt with his signature Phoenix Splash from the gods …

[John Cena vs 'The Aerial Assassin' Will Ospreay]
Cena has been poster boy and the focal point of all the GWA promotion leading up to this point … Ospreay shows a more than a few glimpses of his dynamic offense … Cena begins to press and press but misses a lariat in the corner and winds up crotched between the second and top buckle … Firing back with a flurry of elbows, finally perching himself on the second rope … Ospreay with a zips in … CHEEKY NANDOS KICK!!! … Ospreay signals for the Storm Breaker but Cena manages to evade it and his dreaded side-walk slam into the 5 Knuckle Shuffle much to the adoring crowd … Cena wills Ospreay up for the Attitude Ajustment … Ospreay flips out and lands on his feet … He comes off the ropes looking to the land the OZ CUTTER … CENA SNATCHES HIM INTO POSITION … Attitude Ajustment … 1 … 2 … 3

[Lord Regal vs Adrian Neville]
Regal outwrestled Neville on every occasion but the speed of Neville always promised to be a problem for Regal … Instead of softening his foe up for the Regal Stretch instead he works over the left leg of Neville … Taking a wheel from the Ferrari so to speak … Neville had his fair share and managed to drop Regal in the air setting up the Red Arrow … The damage is done though and he can't zip up there like he is usually accustomed to … Regal meets him from the second rope with a couple of stiff shots … He teases an unthinkable Piledriver from the second rope … Neville manages to outfox him dropping down into flash jack-knife pin to steal this one! … After the match Regal is beside himself … Knocking down the official and ultimately trapping Neville in the Regal Stretch … Adrian Neville may have one the battle but the war just seems to be starting between these two …

[CM PUNK vs SANADA]
The most vocal about his unrest towards the favoritism of Cena has been CM Punk … He looked like a man on a mission here tonight … If only SANADA's offense would have been brighter than his ring attire … Punk isn't getting payed by the hour and ends this one just over the 8 minute mark … Annihilating SANADA with the GTS …

[Samoa Joe vs Tyler Bate]
Bate would grind and grind … This one was all 'JOE JOE JOE' however … The fans chanting his name in unison would be a sight to behold … Bate almost scored the shock with a 'Bop & Bang' instantly into an inside cradle … Many in attendance thought he got it over the line with murmuring 'That was 3' chants … Bate falls foul to the Coquina Clutch … He looks like his about to attempt pushing back off the buckles but just doesn't have it in the tank and slowly beginning to fade …

[Vader vs vs Eddie Guerrero]
A complete mismatch in terms of size and weight but it would be a shitload closer than the last encounter … Eddie brought his Latino Heat but to his detriment the clubbing blows and gargantuan suplexes are enough to take their toll on any man … Vader caught an exposed buckle which Guerrero had unattached earlier on in the contest … Frog Splash attempt however would fail to land with Vader just managing to avoid danger … Vader grabs Guerrero by the scruff of the neck and kills him with a vicious POWERBOMB … Dragging him into the corner and emerging victorious following a VADER BOMB!!! …

['The Heartbreak Kid' Shawn Michaels vs 'The Whole Fuckin Show' Rob Van Dam]
It promised to be everything on the tin and wouldn't disappoint in the slightest … Duelling chants of 'Sexy Boy/One of a Kind' sound as the fans try to play off both mens theme tunes … Van Dam takes a second to remind everyone that he is 'Rob … Van … Dam' pointing to his back … Michaels demands his full attention waking Van dam up with a slap then a bit of cat and mouse to follow around the ring … Michael instantly plays heel here with the crowd fully invested in Van Dam …

Pretty much an even split here with things going right down the and also right to the wire … Van Dam seemed to have this one sewn up but Michaels rolls out the ring just as he was about to receive some 5 star accommodation … Michaels lands a backbody drop to Van Dam on the outside who lands hard on the exposed concrete Guerrero had exposed in the earlier match … He rolls Van Dam back inside … Scrambling to the top … Flying Elbow!!! … Van Dam flounders back to a vertical base as Michaels tunes up the band … Van Dam ducks some Sweet Chin Music … Roll-Up of Death with the ropes for leverage! … Michaels is irate bemoaning anyone who will listen … Van Dam is the one left shrugging his shoulders in a nonchalant fashion as the show goes off air …

Loved the Devitt vs Ibushi match from WK8. Glad to see it happen here.

I could see Joe being really big here

HBK vs RVD is a Dream Match. Great Choice for the Main Event. I thought for sure Michaels had that one.
