12 Days of Christmas Tour: Night Four

     



Location: MCI Center, Washington DC











Dawn Marie: "Hello wrestling fans..... Dawn Marie here! And once I got the call from Girilla Monsoon saying that he needed someone who could spice things up as a special host for the rest of the tour, I couldn't wait to hop on the first plane out to Washington D.C!! And just to show you how I roll, say hello to this man!"          






The fans pop huge as Kurt Angle makes his way to the ring!





 Kurt Angle: "Washington freakin DC!! How the heck are ya? You guys didn't think you could hold a show in our nation's capital without the only Olympic Gold medalist on it did ya? I can't tell you how great it is to be here with you ......."            


Angle gets distracted when he sees......






The lights go off for a few seconds and you can feel the buzz from the live audience,  then when the lights come back on, we see......





Angle sizes Killer Kross up then yanks his strap down off his singlet and calls for a referee to do this thing right now!

 Match One: Kurt Angle vs Killer Kross w/Scarlett      

We have a nice stare-down with the ref laying down the rules, as the live audience is going nuts by this impromptu matchup. Lock-up, Kross shoves back Angle. Angle takes the back of Kross then Kross has Angle in a hammerlock,. Angle counters for a side headlock. Lock-up, Angle trips Kross and we have another stand-off. Lock-up and Kross shoves down Angle.... another lock-up with the same result. Angle shoves Kross into the corner by the back of his head, arm drags by Angle. Kross powders. Angle decks Kross and right hands by Angle but Kross clubs his way back into the match.

Angle goes for the leg bit knees by Kross. Belly to belly suplex by Angle for two. Kross just stands up and military presses Angle to the floor. Kross sends Angle into the steel steps. Kross back drops Angle for two. Angle counters a military press for an O Connor roll, two for Angle and Kross regains control with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker for two. Rear-naked choke by Kross, trying to get the Kross Jacket but Angle fires up but Kross cuts off Angle with a knee to the ribs. Backbreakers by Kross.... stomps and foot choke by Kross as Scarlett likes what she sees. Angle battles back with right hands and a schoolboy for two, clothesline by Kross. Muscle Buster by Kross for two, shoulder thrusts by the big man. Angle dodges a spear as Kross hits the ringpost. Shoulder blocks by Angle and a dropkick to the hamstring. Right hands by Angle, flying clothesline and a German suplex, make it three. Angle gets a two count! Kross belly to belly suplexes Angle. Then Angle eats a massive spinebuster, 1.....2.....NO!! Saito suplex is countered for a DDT by Angle, cover, 1.....2.....NO!! Angle measures for an Angle Slam, it connects. 1....2.... KROSS KICKS OUT OF THE ANGLE SLAM!! Ankle Lock.....Kross escapes and Angle is pushed into the referee. Angle has a sleeper on Kross using his legs, Angle transitions into an Ankle Lock. Kross reachs the ropes but the referee is down!

Angle pulls Kross off the ropes and back to the center of the ring. The ref begins to stir. Kross does a pushup into a tuck and rolls out of the ankle lock. SAITO SUOLEX BY KROSS! THEN ANOTHER! KROSS PUTS ANGLE IN THE STRAIGHT JACKET! Angle fights the best he can but he's beginning to fade. The ref checks Angles arm. It falls once..... it falls twice......it falls three times!!! Killer Kross is your winner. But Kross doesn't release the hold. After a few seconds Sting charges the ring.




Kross releases the hold and just stares at Sting before smirking and hopping out if the ring. Kross and Scarlett take their leave as Sting watches on. 





  Match Two: Io Shirai vs Rhea Ripley           

IO attacks out of the gate with a shotgun dropkick …. RIPLEY fires back but misses a corner charge and is sent to the floor …. IO with an asai moonsault that takes out RIPLEY! RIPLEY catches IO and slams her on the ring apron, and now she is in control RIPLEY grounds IO with a leg scissors but IO fights out …. In the meantime, ASUKA has come out to the ring to watch …. RIPLEY stops IO with a standing dropkick, then a sliding clothesline and a backbreaker …. RIPLEY works the ribs of IO, but she fights out with an enziguri …. RIPLEY goes for a super-plex, but IO fights her off and knocks her to the mat, then hits a missile dropkick for 2 …. IO back up top, but RIPLEY shoves her off the top and she goes flying to the outside ON TOP OF ASUKA AT RINGSIDE! RIPLEY goes outside, grabbing IO and tossing her back in, BUT ASUKA IS UP AND HITS RIPLEY WITH A SPINNING BACKFIST!!!! The ref calls for the bell!

Winner (By DQ): Rhea Ripley

RIPLEY and ASUKA brawl at ringside, BUT IO SHIRAI WIPES BOTH OF THEM OUT WITH A DIVE TO THE OUTSIDE!!!! The 3 women end up being separated, but IO is the one standing tall at the end of this one.







Match Three: Kamala vs Cactus Jack w/Daffney          

To say these two guys live in a different universe is an understatement. But.... just when you think it can't get anymore bizarre,  when the bell rings, it seems all Kamala is focused on is Daffney! Kamala stares out to the arena floor at her.... then he slaps his belly a few times and stares some more.




This doesn't sit well with Cactus,  who charges and hits his clothesline to Kamala that sends both men over the top and to the floor! The two fight around ringside as Cactus let's out chilling squeals of "MOMMY!! MOMMY!!" Kamala sends Cactus into the cornerpost then charges in with a splash. Kamala rolls Cactus inside. Kamala then climbs the turnbuckles!! Kamala leaps off with a splash but Cactus is laying on his stomach! Kamala again gets distracted by Daffney.....he's mesmerized! He gets up and reaches out and just gently touches Daffneys hair. This gives Cactus time to attack from behind! It's a slugfest now. Cactus whips Kamala into the ropes, and Kamala bounces off with a leapfrog over Cactus and bounces off the ropes with a cross body, 1.....2......3!!!





  Dawn Marie: "I thought this was a Christmas tour? Those three people are straight out of a Halloween movie! That was so..... Bizarre!"       




  Match Four: Bill Dundee vs Eric Embry w/Sir Oliver Humperdink                

DUNDEE and EMBRY continue their feud from the USWA!

These guys don't like each other and it really shows here! They basically throw the rulebook out the damn window as they tear into each other! They take the fight to the arena floor as well and the ref is losing control fast!

Unfortunately ,EMBRY is now associated with SIR OLIVER HUMPERDINK and SOH interferes in this match which causes EMBRY to roll DUNDEE up from behind and SOH actually holds down one of DUNDEE'S leg which prevents him from kickingn out!


Winner by pinfal....ERIC EMBRY!




  Dawn Marie: "Eric Embry has found new life since aligning himself with Sir Oliver Humperdink! I predict that 2022 will be a huge year for him."        




  Match Five: Hangman Page vs Big Van Vader w/Teddy Long           

They lock up, Vader shoves him to the corner and just smacks the hell out of him, right in the face. “COME ON BOY!! THIS AINT NO COWBOY SHIT! THIS IS WAR!"

They lock up again. Vader again shoves him to the corner. He throws a body shot and then a left hook to the face. “Come on, boy!” He repeats the tea party line. Vader barks and spits in Hangmans face. Absolutely no respect for Hangman here by Vader.

Vader challenges Hangman to come at him, and Hangman tackles him down! Page unloading with right hands! He slams his knees into Vader’s body and swipes at his face with slaps from both hands! Vader’s mask is off and Hangman has the crowd rocking! Vader reverses a whip, Hangman ducks a clothesline, ducks another, and hits a crossbody for two! Hangman clotheslines Vader, and the big man falls over the top to the floor. Hangman follows out and keeps up the assault, then nails Teddy Long!

Page into the ring, Vader slow to follow, and Hangman jumps right on top of him. Hangman pounding Vader down in the corner with right hands and a kick to the chest. The big man looks stunned by this onslaught from Page. Hangman hits a vertical suplex!

Vader to the floor again, but referee doesn’t let Hangman follow. That allows Vader a moment to recover, and when Page charges at him again in the ring, Vader just plows into and through him. Back into the corner and Vader unloads with his trademark rights and lefts. Vader with an overhand forearm in the corner, just pounding Hangman down to the mat.

Right hand to the jaw from Vader, then a corner-to-corner whip. Vader’s charge misses, Page rolls him up and gets two. But Hangman walks right into a left-arm lariat from Vader, taking an inside out bump on the impact. Right hands from Vader in the corner again. Vader charges the corner again and HANGMAN CATCHES HIM WITH A POWERSLAM!! Page can’t cover, but he gets up and goes for a sunset flip. Vader drops down, Hangman moves and hits a basement lariat. Again, doesn’t cover, and just mounts Vader, pounding away. He swipes the ref away in the middle of it.

Hangman calls for the bulldog, but Vader catches him mid-move and just hurls him over the top to the floor!!

Page struggles back into the ring, Vader sends him off the ropes and cleans his clock with another lariat. Vader whistles and points to the sky, then goes to the middle rope. VADER BOMB! He covers, 1......2......but Page gets a foot on the rope.

Vader back to the second rope — VADER BOMB! Cover, 1....2...... and Hangman kicks out again. Page refusing to die no matter how badly he’s being beaten here. Vader stands him up in the corner again, clubs him with another forearm, and another. Left to the body, right up top, repeat that in combination until Page just falls apart and drops to the mat.

Vader gives space, and Page tries to rally the crowd behind his effort. Vader picks him up and just dumps him with a slam. Back to the second rope, this time facing the ring, and he flies off but gets caught and slammed down by Page. Hangman blocks a right, fires back with right hands of his own and a big elbow to the top of the head! Vader staying up as Hangman hits him with running right hands and another elbow. A clothesline and Vader falls into the ropes. Hangman going up top now, and flies off with a clothesline, finally putting Vader down! Hangman puts Vader on the middle turnbuckle and looks for a superplex .....no it’s a DDT from the second rope! One, two, Vader gets a shoulder up!!!

Hangman calls for the bulldog again. He hits it! Page goes out on the ringapron. Teddy Long knows he has to do something and tries to stop Page, who kicks Long down to the floor. BUCKSHOT BY PAGE TO VADER!!! 1......2......3!!!



Page rolls out of the ring celebrating with the fans as the capacity audience is shocked at his victory! Page takes his leave as Vader starts to rise to his feet. Vader rolls out of the ring and HE IS PISSED!!! Vader grabs Teddy Long, yelling at him. Vader begins throwing chairs around ringside. Vader picks up the announce table and throws it too. As Vader continues his tirade out comes Dusty Rhodes for his match next. 





Vader now sees Dusty and takes exception to his appearance.  Vader yells out asking Dusty if he wants some? Vader walks upon Dusty and before they can fight, security rushes out to get Vader backstage. 


  Match Six: Dusty Rhodes vs Triple H           

Hunter takes advantage of Dusty being distracted by Vader. Hunter works Dusty over and hits a spinebuster on Rhodes! Cover!! Is it over already? 1......2.......NO! Dusty kicks out. But that doesn't stop Hunter from his assault. He continues to work away at Rhodes. After several minutes of this Dusty begins to bounce a little, getting the vibe of the crowd behind him. Dusty fires into Hunter with stinging jabs and lights Hunter up with the bionic elbow! Hunter is dazed. Dusty climbs the turnbuckles with a sunset flip, 1.......2......3!!!  As Dusty celebrates his win, our host Dawn Marie joins him at ringside......



  Dawn Marie: "A great victory here by "The American Dream!" But Dusty, during that match I got a text message from Gorilla Monsoon.  And he has informed me that in two nights away, in Louisville..... you will go one on one with Vader!   


The crowd pops big time!


Dusty Rhodes: "I DONT KNOW WHAT THE BIG MANS PROBLEM WAS..... BUT DADDY IF ITS A FIGHT HE WANTS AGAINST THE DREAM.... HE AINT GITTA LOOK FAR! I WILL BE THERE IN LOUISVILLE. AND WE GONNA GET FUNKY LIKE A MONKEY ON HIS BIG ASS.... IF YA WILL!!"       




  Main Event: Don Muraco vs Stan Hansen for the WWF Heavyweight title         

MURACO is a bit of a surprise challenger here but HANSEN claims he can beat everyone so he gladly took on this challenge!

These men lock up and HANSEN over powers MURACO the first few times! MURACO gets pushed into a corner and HANSEN misses woth an elbow smash and when he turns around actually monkey flips the champ,outta the corner! HANSEN has a look of shock on his face as the fans pop huge! Now MURACO takes over the next few minutes as he hits HANSEN with arm drags...drop kicks...hip tosses...armbars...etc. as he has the fans solidly behind him!


HANSEN does finally get the advantage and takes over with his usual brawling and general ass kicking! This goes on for several minutes as MURACO tries to fight back HANSEN eventually slams MURACO in the center of the ring! He goes for the flying elbow drop but MURACO moved outta the way whick stuns the champ long enough for MURACO to recover!


Now the fight is really on as both men are going after one another! HANSEN whips MURACO into the corner and connected with an elbow smash which weakens the challenger! HANSEN then whips him into the ropes...adjusts his brace and prepares to hit the lariat! However on the rebound...MURACO ducks the lariat...off the ropes MURACO hits HANSEN with a crossm body block! MURACO covers for the pin but HANSEN kicks out at two!

However HANSEN is still a bit stunned and MURACO stuns everyone by hitting a tombstone piledriver on HANSEN! MURACO covers and ...one...two.....THREE!!!!


Your winner .....and NEWWWWWWW WWF HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION-MAGNIFICENT MURACO!!!




a stunned HANSEN slowly gains hism senses as the new champion holds the belt high ,then leaves the ring  to a huge ovation An upset HANSEN attacks the ref and hits the lariat on him before he leaves the ring!






Dawn Marie: "We have a brand new WWF Champion in Don Muraco and one pissed off cowboy in Stan Hansen! I'm sure there will be fines levied to Hansen after that! Fans, what a night here in our Nation's capital! What will tomorrow night have in store? Don't you dare miss it!"
