Windy City Pro Wrestling # 29 : The Rhodes family .
Freddy Miller : Hello fans . As some of you know , Gordon has sustained injuries at BGR , he will be back next week . I’m Freddy Miller and we have an exciting show for you this week . We are kicking it off with the World Tag Team Champions . Let’s go to the ring .
IWA World Tag Team Titles Nick Bockwinkle and Harley Race vs The Long Riders : The Long Riders look almost alike , being brothers . So they can somewhat fool the ref . They keep Bockwinkle in their corner early on . Scott chokes him with the tag rope , while Bill puts the boots to him . Scott tags in , whips Bockwinkle off the ropes … Bicycle Kick !!! He covers 1….2.,.. Harley breaks it up with an elbow to the back of the head .
Bockwinkle battles to his feet and gets a sleeper and turns it into an inverted DDT on Scott Hogg Irwin . He makes the tag to Harley who hits a flying knee and then a falling headbutt . Harley gets off a Piledriver . He gets the 3 as Bockwinkle holds off Wild Bill Irwin with a side Suplex . They join Freddy Miller at the podium .
Freddy : Harley , Nick , you guys are putting your titles on the line in just a few days at 12 Days of Christmas and here you are defending tonight against a tough Long Riders team .
Bockwinkle: Mr. Miller , when you are a World Champion that’s what you do . Night after night , you defend . It doesn’t matter if it’s The Mulkeys , The Hardys , these two tough son of a bitches out here , the Gagnes , The Freebirds , Midnight Express , the cheap version or the other one , or Black Wall Street . You defend and you win and you move onto the next . Flair does it , Britt Baker does it , MJF does it , Jungle Boy is just starting and well we do it better .
Race : Nick you hit the nail on the head . Freebirds , Midnight Express, Black Wall Street. Take a look at the carnage we left in the ring just now . That’s how you are going to end up . Flat on your damn back , looking at the lights . We will leave the way we came in , still the World Tag Team Champions . As my partner said nobody does it better than us .

Dynamite Kid vs Ultimo Dragon ; This is kind of a redemption match for the fledgling Dark Hart. Dynamite hung a loss on Mil last week and that started a spiral . Ultimo starts out quickly with lethal strikes , but Dynamite stops his cold with a headbutt . Then a knee to the head . He hits a Northern Lights Suplex for 3 and the win .
Freddy : A great match . Right now let’s watch a match recorded from last week at the Hammond Civic Center.
Dusty Rhodes & ??? vs Jimmy Snuka and Bad Luck Fale/ Gary Hart: Dusty comes out by himself . Remember Eddie Guerrero was traded . Dusty gets in the ring and Hart orders his men to attack , but what a surprise when Cody slides in with a chair . He blast Fale in the head . Dusty hits a dropkick on Jimmy and tags into Cody . Jimmy Staggers up , Cody hits Cross Rhodes !!! He tags in Dusty . Bionic Elbow Drop. 1….2…3 .
Freddy : And here they are . Dusty and Cody Rhodes !
The fans go crazy .
Dusty : Freddy Miller , I’ve been saying all along my boys are part of the American Dream . They carry that flag on their backs and they keep it alive , baby . You see we live in a new world . A world of frightening and uncertain times . A nasty virus has the whole world on notice . From here the Windy City of Chicago , across the Great Lakes to the coast of New York to the far reaches of California and across the Atlantic Sea to Europe all over the world .
But the one thing you always got as this world changed is family , baby . Family will always be around . Always have your back and always hold you up in your darkest hour . Now Gary Hart , he thought he had his family pull a fast one on me , but waiting in the wings was a nightmare an American Nightmare , my baby boy Cody has come home .

Freddy Miller: Cody , they are chanting your name .
Cody : You know , as hard as I fought to ignore my family’s legacy , I should have known . This amazing wonderful man and my big brother Dustin cast a very large shadow . A shadow I was afraid of . I was afraid these people wouldn’t accept me and now I see I was wrong .
Freddy Miller: Cody , tell them what you told me . Explain how we got here .
Cody : Freddy , you know the story , but for them , I’ll tell it again . When I was in AEW , I wanted to be the top guy . Cast my own shadow , so I rebelled . I bad mouthed this man and talked about how he was never there and I waged war with Brian Danielson . Brandi and I almost got a divorce over it . She said being my own man was fine , beating up on Brian Danielson was fine , but bad mouthing my dad was wrong . He was always there and around when he could be .
She was right . While Dad loves the wrestling business , it’s still just food money to him . A way to take care of his family . That’s what good father’s do . She was right . When I won the Boys Club amateur wrestling trophy , there was Dad . When I won the Georgia State title in wrestling in high school , there was Dad . When I graduated high school , there was Dad . When I broke in on the lowest level of pro wrestling you could , a church basement on the South Side of this great city under a mask with 15 people in the crowd , one of them was Dad .
I got traded to WCW . I never saw the ring , because the first night I was in the back , I saw Brian Christopher walking around , bad mouthing his father and all I could think , is dear lord !! That was me !! I did that . I asked for a trade . I holed up over in Blue Grass Rasslin for a week , while John Rose negotiated a trade to get me here . There in the back , I met Jungle Boy .
Jungle Boy talked about my dad . How he had 3 heroes in his life , my Dad , Bob Armstrong and his own father who passed away recently . How he missed him . How it hurts to have him here and I missed my dad even more . The day came . Eddie Guerrero showed up the next night and I was packing my bags headed to Chicago . Jimmy Snuka and Bad Luck Fale along with Gary Hart were so proud of themselves . Thinking Dad was alone . Well the Dream is never alone no matter where he is . Because the Dream has the legacy . One I now embrace . I’m the son of a legend and damn proud of it .

Hart : You guys think you’re so smart . Well let’s make it interesting . 12 Days of Christmas . Let’s go to war . You guys against Bad Luck Fale , Jimmy Snuka , Yokozuna and Shinsuke Nakumura. Survivor Series match .

Dusty : Chi Town !!! We gonna get Funky Like a Monkey Dec . 12th . At Wintrust Arena !
Hart’s men go to attack , but Dusty and Cody are joined by Hogan and Ibushi . The action spills in the ring . The show goes to Showtime Programing .
Freddy : Fans welcome back . Tonight starts the search for a new American Television Champion . Two back to back Battle Royals the winners of those will square off Christmas Night . Let’s go to the ring for the first .

Harts boys Team up and toss out everyone , but Studd . Hart offers a contract to Studd and $10,000 . Studd grabs up Hart and tosses him into Nakumura. The two of them spill out of the ring down to the floor . Studd boots Fale in the face knocking him out . Yokozuna charges , Studd catches him with an elbow and hip tosses him out . Winner and moving on Christmas Night , Big John Studd .

Nothing can stop Hogan and Bundy getting at one another . But Jimmy Snuka is going to try . He takes Hogan’s eyes and then headbutts him . He knocks him near the ring ropes and then a Superkick is fired , but Hogan catches it and grabs up Jimmy . He tosses him to Bundy who catches him and stumbles backward . Hogan follows it up with a dropkick and the two spill out of the ring .
Freddy Miller: It will be Big John Studd and Hulk Hogan Christmas Night for the American Television Title!!! We are out of time . Gordon will be back next week . Good night everybody.
