SHARPE has the strength advantage but is too slow and lumbering to keep up with EDGE who ends this match by hittin a spear and getting the three count to open up the night's action!
MATCH # 2-THE DUDLEYS vs THE ZAMBUII EXPRESS
With these four big men in the ring ,you just know it's going to be a stiff,hard hitting affair and it didn't disappoint!
Unfortunately their tempers get the best of both teams and after several attempts to restore some sense of order,the ref has no recourse but to disqualify both teams and declare this match a no contest!
MATCH # 3 -PAUL ORNDORFF vs george south
SOUTH tries but he can't match up to ORNDORFF in any phase and gets a devastating piledriver and pinfall loss for his efforts!
MATCH # 4-NEW WWF TV CHAMPION MANNY FERNANDEZ vs FORMER CHAMP OLE ANDERSON ( NON-TITLE)
MANNY (with his head still bandaged from the post match attack after his upset title win on RAW) tears into OLE with ferocity!
He is beating OLE from pillar to post for several minutes before the action spills outta the ring !
OLE ends up posting MANNY'S skull into the ringpost which opens up the previous head wound!
After the action returns to the ring,OLE takes over and starts working over the arm of MANNY and eventually clamps on a devastating standing chicken wing on the TV CHAMP!
Unfortunately for OLE,and as the fans thought MANNY had submitted,the bell rings but it signaled the time limit had expired and the match was declared a draw!
A bloody MANNY needed help returning to the dressing room!
MATCH # 5-DON MURACO vs RICK MARTEL
In what started out as a scientific match,it soon became not so scientific as MURACO started with the roughhouse tactics which threw off MARTEL and eventually caused him to lose by pinfall as MURACO actually used his feet on the ropes to help with the pinfall!
The fans boo loudly as MURACO left the ring while MARTEL was in a bit of shock!
MATCH # 6- WWF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
BLACK WALLSTREET (C) vs CLL TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS: THE HART FOUNDATION
These teams have met before so this match was pretty much action packed from start to finish!
Halfway thru the match,THE ZAMBUII made their way down to ringside but before they could cause any problems,THE DUDLEYS ran down and tarted brawling with them on the arena floor!
During all this chaos,and with the ref distracted by the commotion,BWS tossed BRET outta the ring and double teamed NEIDHART,eventually ending the match when BAD NEWS BROWN hit him with the ghetto blaster and as the ref turned around he saw the cover and made the three count!
BWS gets the successful title defense and head back to the dressing room as the HART FOUNDATION complain to the ref!
MATCH # 7- BRUNO SAMMARTINO vs KEN PATERA w/LOU ALBANO
This match is highlighted by several tests of strength and is really a toss up until ALBANO'S interference cause a dq on PATERA!
BRUNO wins by DQ but nothing is settled here!
INTERMISSION
MATCH # 8- SUPERSTAR BILLY GRAHAM vs DOMINIC DENUCCI
SBG is just too powerful for DENUCCI to do anything to!
SBG ends this with a bear hug submission victory!
MATCH # 9-RODDY PIPER vs JAKE ROBERTS w/ LORD ALFRED HAYES
A donnybrook from the start as these two couldn't wait to get their hands on each other!
Unfortunaetly the action spilled outside of the ring with both men brawling all the way back down the aisle and near the dressing room area where several wrestles had to seperate them!
The result was a double count out NO CONTEST!
MATCH # 10- WWF HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
SPECIAL STIPULATION: Winner of this match gets an IWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE SHOT this weekend at BLACK FRIDAY!
STAN HANSEN ( C) vs BRUISER BRODY
Talk about a hard hitting match ,these two beat the hell outta each other for over 2O minutes as the action was full speed the whole time!
BRODY had the champ down but missed his flying knee drop and when he turned to get up,he was hit with the Lariat!!
But HANSEN knew how tough BRODY is and picked him up,threw him into the ropes and caught BRODY with a second Lariat!!
HANSN then covered and got thepin!
One helluva brutal match !
As HANSEN is declared the winner ,he grabs the ring announcer's mic and tells FLAIR that his time is up and on BLACK FRIDAY ,HANSEN will be adding another belt to his collection!!
