WCW Monday Nitro #21

     







The show opens up and we instantly see a long, black, limousine pulling in backstage of the venue. The doors open up and we see...... The 4 Horsemen! The Horsemen walk through the venue and out into the live audience, towards the ring, where we see a few tables around the ring full of champagne and caviar.  As the Horsemen party it up, Mean Gene Okerlund joins them at ringside......





Gene Okerlund: "OHHHH MY!! What have we here? Ric Flair.... if I may? What's the special occasion?"       




Ric Flair: "Mean.....Bygawd Gene! Who needs a special occasion when your a Horsemen? This is a lifestyle for us. But tonight I wanted to make it extra special to help celebrate Arn and Tully proving they are the best tag in all of pro wrestling by winning the Crockett Cup!"      

Gene Okerlund: "While it was quite the accomplishment,  some may argue that the new IWA World tag champions, Harley Race and Nick Bockwinkle may own that honor."  




Arn Anderson: "And how did they fare in the Cup? Last I recall, they was laying on their backs, looking up at the lights, courtesy of a couple of pretty boy rockers. Make no mistake Gene..... The Horsemen are where its at in professional wrestling!"    

Gene Okerlund: "Far be it from me to bust up a good party. But you may want to go lightly on that bubbly as you will be in 8 man action this weekend against Jimmy Snuka, Jungle Boy, Tommy Rich, and Bob Armstrong!"     

Ric Flair: "Gene, my friend.... have a drink! Trust me.....facing those guys will be like having a night off! WOOOOOO!"        



The cameras pan backstage where we see the APA sitting, drinking some cold ones and playing poker.





When they get a knock on their door. Its........


Eddie Gilbert!





Eddie Gilbert: "HOLD ON.... HOLD ON! Take it easy.....I'm here on business!"          

JBL: "What the Hell kind of business would you have with us?"        

 Eddie Gilbert: "Well.... your a protection agency aren't you? I need protection from that lunatic, Jerry Lawler! He's already put Austin Theory on the shelf. And he's threatening to take out all of HotStuff International! So what do ya say? You guys take out Lawlef and I will pay you dearly!"  


The cameras see Ron Simmons looking Missy Hyatt over from head to toes.


JBL: "We ain't interested in your money and we sure ain't interested in saving a little pencil neck geek like yourself. You can go to hell! Now get your ass outta here before you really make us angry!"    

Ron Simmons: "DAMN!!!!"

Match One: Jerry Lawler vs Mark Jindrak w/Eddie Gilbert & Missy Hyatt         

Jindrak tries attacking Lawler before the bell but the King is ready for him! Lawler lights Jindrak up with a series of punches.  Lawler then kicks Jindrak in the nuts...... PILEDRIVER BY LAWLER!! 1..... 2.....3!!! As Lawler kicks Jindrak out if the ring, Sean O'Haire storms the ring with a chair. He swings at Lawler but Lawler ducks and nails him with those patented lefts! Lawler then hits O'Haire with the chair. Lawler puts the chair on the mat...... PILEDRIVER TO O'HAIRE!!!

Outside the ring, Gilbert and Missy are throwing a fit as Lawler tells Gilbert his time is running out.



***COMMERCIAL BREAK***



  Match Two: Liv Morgan vs Becky Lynch          

Morgan kicked Lynch down and then slapped on a chinlock. Lynch came back with forearms, a clothesline and jumping side kick. Lynch went for the Dis-Arm-Her submission, but Morgan sent her into the turnbuckle. Morgan went for her jumping knee attack to the face, Lynch counter with a roll through and got the pinfall win. As the replay is being shown, Okerlund joins Lynch in the ring......

  Gene Okerlund: "To say that this young lady has definitely caused a stir since arriving in WCW would be an understatement. Not only have you cost Britt Baker the IWA Womens World title,  but you broke her arm in the process. And it was recently announced by WCW General Manager, Eric Bischoff, that Britt Baker will....
   





Becky Lynch: "ENOUGH about Britt Baker, will ya? I broke her bloody arm and put her on the sidelines where she belongs! I'm not here for Britt Baker! I'm here to take my spot as the best damned women's wrestler on the planet. So that means I'm here for Asuka!! And once I get my......"          









  Asuka: "HA!! You want Asuka?? You no ready for Asuka!"        

  Becky Lynch: "Is that a fact? Well then.... why don't you get in this ring and I will show you just how ready I am!"        

Asuka charges to the ring and as soon as she gets in, the fight is on between her and Lynch! The fists fly then Lynch sets Asuka up for the Dis-Arm-Her.... but Asuka escapes and goes for the Asuka lock but Lynch escapes. The two fight all over the mat with neither woman getting an upper hand. Then out of nowhere comes.....





BRITT BAKER!!!


Baker flies into the ring and superkicks Lynch! Asuka tries to get at Lynch, but Baker shoves Asuka aside and to the mat. Lynch charges Baker with a clothesline but Baker ducks and then Britt his Lynch in the face with her cast!!! Lynch falls out of the ring, bleeding from the blow!


Britt Baker: "Becky Lynch..... you jealous Bitch!! You cost me the IWA Womens World title and broke my arm!! That was your first mistakes! Your next mistake..... YOU SHOULD HAVE KILLED ME! Now.... Gene Okerlund,  I believe you was trying to make an announcement before you was so rudely interrupted?"       

Gene Okerlund: "OHHHH MY!! As a matter of fact..... yes I was! Per Eric Bischoff.....there will be a match right here next week on Nitro for the IWA Womens World title as Asuka will defend against Becky Lynch......and DR. D.....M.....D....... BRITT BAKER!!!!"           





As a bloody Becky Lynch watches on at ringside, Britt Baker walks right up to Asuka and stares at the IWA Womens World title.....

  Britt Baker: "The Doctor Will See You Now!"        


Baker and Asuka stare each other down as we head to break!

  Match Three: Tajiri vs Buddy Murphy w/Zelina Vega        

Good back and forth action between these two but in the end we see Zelinas "Best Kept Secret in All of Pro Wrestling " Buddy Murphy  get the win with Murphy's Law (Pumphandle lift into Samoan Drop or Death Valley Driver)





The cameras pan backstage where we see Efic Bischoff in his office talking to WCPW own John Rose on the telephone.....





  Eric Bischoff: "Alright Rose.... it's time to stop playing grab ass here. I want my WCW tag titles back! Sid and Luger couldn't get it done. And neither could Benoit and Malenko. And while your guys Evolution may have the titles, they are still obligated to defend them on WCW programming. So I'm sending a plane for them next week..... where they will defend them here on Nitro!"         



***COMMERCIAL BREAK ***





The crowd goes wild as we come back from break and see the WCW Heavyweight champion, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin making his way to the ring......




  Steve Austin: "Every where I go lately the people keep asking me....."Champ, who's gonna be your next challenger?"        

  Audience: "WHAT???"      

Steve Austin: "I said they wanna know who's my next opponent......"         

  Audience: "WHAT?"        

  Steve Austin: "Who's my next challenger!"        

  Audience: "WHAT?      

  Steve Austin: "What my ass!! I said they wanna know who I'm gonna stomp a mud hole in and walk it dry! And to tell the truth..... I really don't give a rats ass who it is! Because if they get in this ring with the toughest S.O.B. in the entire WCW I'm gonna stun their ass right through that mat! And that's the bottom line......"       





  Teddy Long: "Now hold on playa..... let me Holla at ya!         


Austin stares a hole through Longbas he makes his way into the ring!


  Teddy Long: "Now Stone Cold.... your one bad dude. Make no mistake about it. But I have a man who has been ignored for far too long here in WCW. And his name just happens to be Big Van Vader! The WCW has fined this man so much the last few months that its hurting the pocketbook, ya feel me? So that's where you come in! Your the top guy here.  Your holding the gold, making all the money. It ain't nothing personal ya see.... it's just business! But im here to tell you that once you put your name in that dotted line to defend that WCW title against Vader...... it's YOUR ASS that's gonna get kicked Playa! Now feel that!"         


Austin looks out into the crowd and smirks, then looks at Long and flips him off!! The crowd pops huge as Long can't believe the disrespect of the Texas Rattlesnake! Long, feeling embarrassed,  slaps Stone Cold!!! Austin grabs Ling, backing him into the corner,  talking shit to Ling every step! The crowd shrieks as we see the presence of......


VADER!!!!


Vader charges in behind Austin and hits a Vader splash in the corner, smashing Austin! Vader elbow drops Austin as Teddy Long shouts out instructions.  Vader stands over Austin then climbs the turnbuckles...... VADERSAULT TO AUSTIN!!! Long grabs the WCW Heavyweight title and holds it in the air as Vader poses his Dominance as show fades to black!
