The show opens a bit different than normal . Sweet Home Chicago plays while there is a video montage opening . Hulk Hogan reversing a Figure Four from Rick Flair . Chris Adams Superkicking Rick Rude . The Great Kabuki putting a nerve hold on The Black Tiger . Samoa Joe hitting a Muscle Buster on Bob Backlund out on the floor and then Dusty Rhodes raising the Windy City Pro Wrestling Title in the air . After the montage we see Gordon Solie .
Gordon : Well hello there . Welcomed to our new and improved Windy City Pro Wrestling. Some big changes coming soon and we will tell you about them in upcoming weeks . But right now we have a special show for you tonight . A Survivor tag match . In one corner Jeff Hardy , Rey Mysterio , the former World Heavyweight Champion Hulk Hogan and the Windy City Pro Wrestling Heavyweight Champion The American Dream Dusty Rhodes. Their opponents The Shinobi Rick Steamboat, Ultimo Dragon , Mil Mascaras , more on that in a minute and He Shinsuke Nakumura.
From there , the Windy City Pro Wrestling Tag Team Champions , Nick Bockwinkle and Harley Race will be joining us about last weeks World Tag Team Title match .
After that Kerry Von Erich defends his American Television Title against Gino Hernandez.
And tonight, a Bunkhouse Quarter Final match Is our main event and brother I’ll tell you this has all the elements of a war . The Freebird Cameron Grimes taking on Bruno Sammartino.
Before we begin however I want to bring in Gary Hart with Mil Mascaras and ask about last Saturday Night at the Harris Casino . Mil Mascaras turned in his fellow Luchadores Rey Mysterio Jr and El Santo .
Gary Hart: Gordon Solay, the whole world is asking why ? Why did Mil Mascaras become a member of Black Hart . You see Gordon , the Luchadore is a time honored tradition. High flying , pulse pounding action , super heroes in mask and respect .
When a man like El Santo runs off to Hollywood and makes B Horror movies , fighting rubber octopuses, he makes a mockery out of Lucha. When Rey Mysterio Jr , wins a World X Division title and looses it in his first defense to a man who shouldn’t be in his league , he embarrasses Lucha .
Mil Mascaras is truly the last great Luchadore, he wants to win a champion and take it back to his beloved Mexico and let his people be proud of Luchadore once again. But he has also sworn to destroy all those who insult this way of life . That’s why he ……
Mysterio comes out and goes right after Mil . He pounds on him . The two men end up in the ring . Now the rest of Dark Hart come out and it’s four in one . Hardy , Hogan and Dusty come out and even the odds .
Gordon : Wait a minute , I guess we are starting the Survivor match right now .
Survivor Match Hulk Hogan , Jeff Hardy , Rey Mysterio Jr , Dusty Rhodes vs Shinsuke Nakumura, Ultimo Dragon, Rick Steamboat and Mil Mascaras : Mike Smith gets the match under control . It’s Rey and Mil in the ring and it’s ugly . Rey is choking Mil I’m the turnbuckles with his legs . Smith ordering Rey is let go , but he refuses , Smith DQ’s Rey . He’s not putting up with that bull shit .
Gordon : Rey Mysterio Jr is gone , but I can promise you , Mil Mascaras hasn’t seen the last of him .
Mil is laying in the mat , when Jeff Hardy jumps in . Jeff nails Mil with a flying forearm bounding off the ropes . Now Jeff goes up . Mil staggers to his feet , Jeff tries for Whisper in the Wind and Mil turns it into a back breaker!!! He tags to Steamboat who sinks in the Asian Spike, Hart gets to the ropes for the break .
Steamboat chops him and then tags in Ultimo Dragon . Dragon hits Hardy with a series of kicks and then goes for a Dragon Sleeper , Jeff turns it into a Twist of Fate . He goes up top . Swanton !!!! He covers 1…..,2…….Noooooo ! Nakumura breaks it up with a kick to the head . Nakumura, sets up for Bombay , but Hardy somehow side steps and shoulder rolls and tags Dusty .
Dusty comes in , Bionic Elbow . Then an elbow drop on Nakumura. Dusty covers 1…..2….Steamboat back in and has the Spike on Dusty . Smith ordering Steamboat to knock it off , but Steamboat is smiling with a far away look in his eyes . Smith calls for the bell , DQing Rick Steamboat.
Gordon: The Shinobi Rick Steamboat is now eliminated .
Security pulls Steamboat off . Dusty lay on the mat coughing up blood . Smith waves him off and calls for EMT’s .
Gordon : We’ll be back with more of this Survivor match .

Gordon: Welcome back . The American Dream Dusty Rhodes was taken away by EMT’s after the attack by Rick Steamboat. Referee Mike Smith determined Dusty Rhodes could no longer continue , so let’s reset . Hulk Hogan and Jeff Hardy are all that remains on that team . Gary Hart’s team consist of Mil Mascaras , Ultimo Dragon and Shinsuke Nakumura. Let’s rejoin the action now .
Hogan has Mil in a Bearhug, Mil rakes Hogan’s eyes and then hits a leaping clothesline. He puts Hogan down and then goes for a Boston Crab. Hogan fights like hell and gets to the ropes . Mil is stomping away on him . But Hogan does what Hogan does . The roar of 759 fans makes him push past the pain . He gets to his feet , belly to belly by Hogan !!! From there he waits for Mil . Ace Bomber!!! 1…..2…..3 !!!
Gordon: Mil Mascaras has been eliminated. Wait a minute . Brian Cage!!! What’s he doing here .
Cage comes in with a Dog Collar chain and cracks Hogan in the back of the head . Cage takes his leave .
Hogan staggers up to his feet . Bombay by Nakumura!!!! 1….2….3 !!!
Gordon : Jeff Hardy is all alone . This is not good .
Ultimo and Nakumura beat the hell out of Hardy . No man should take these kind of lethal strikes , but Jeff keeps fighting . Ultimo goes for a Shooting Star Press , but Hardy catches him with a dropkick on the way down . Dragon makes the tag however as Jeff falls flat on his face from being worn down .
Nakumura measures his man as he’s getting to his feet …. He goes for the Bombay !!! Jeff slides underneath, reverse DDT !!! Jeff covers 1……2……3 !!!!
Gordon : Jeff Hardy is now in a one on one match up with Ultimo Dragon .
Dragon is pounding away on Jeff with a variety of kicks . He hits a couple of big releases Germans . One that puts Jeff out of the ring . Asi Moonsalt by Dragon . He rolls Jeff back in and now goes for a Dragon Bomb …. Jeff with a Hurnacarana !!! Jeff with a Twist of Fate . He goes up …. SWANTON !!!! 1…..2……3 !!!!
Gordon : WOW !! Not only is Jeff the Soul Survivor , but he just pinned the Unlimited Champion . That is big !! In speaking of big . We have some big news from Mr . John Rose concerning Supershow 1 . Mr . Rose .
Rose : Thank you Gordon . Showtime subscribers, I’m happy to announce that all 3 days of Supershow 1 have been sold out . That means all 3 days will be televised right here on Showtime . On day 3 of that weekend . Nick Bockwinkle and Harley Race the Windy City Pro Wrestling Tag Team Champions will once again take on the IWA World Tag Team Champions The A Listers for their titles .
Also next week , we will have a 15 minute special Apter Report , he will run down all 3 days of Supershow .
Gordon : Thank you very much , John . Right now I do want to bring in the Windy City Pro Wrestling Tag Team Champions Nick Bockwinkle and Harley Race. Gentlemen , you came up a bit short last week , but another opportunity is headed your way on September 5th .
Race : Gordon , this was one of those matches where too bad their had to be a loser and too bad it was us . But , I tell you what those kids are a hell of a lot tougher than we thought they were . We beat the hell out of them and they kept coming . They kept fighting and outlasted us . There is something to be said for stamina .
Bockwinkle : Mr . Solie , so now we formulate a new plan . We got their best and they got ours now we have to be better . We have to be more focused and fix our short comings and this time we take something away from them . And no team is better at that then us .
Race : Maybe it’s a leg . Maybe it’s an arm . We hurt your your back so damn bad , you won’t be able to stand for a month . We will take something away .
Bockwinkle: Or we take your head . We elbow it , we kick it . We disorient you to the point of you not being able to think straight . But Harley talked about stamina . Not only I’d my partner a great wrestler , but he’s one of the hardest punchers I have ever seen in this business . Probably only second to Jerry Lawler and it’s a minimal second . He caves in your rib cage and you can’t breath .
Race : And my partner is the greatest technician to ever set foot in a wrestling ring . He uses one of his 2,000 holds and makes your chest feels like it’s going to explode and you can’t breath . Or he puts that arm around that artery in your neck and squeezes and puts you out .
Bockwinkle : Or we change levels . We go from being great wrestlers and we get a little tricky . We get a little down and dirty and that’s the last thing you want gentlemen . We aren’t afraid to grab a handful of tights . Use the ropes for leverage for a cheap pin . We are Race and Bockwinkle and nobody does it better . We are your next World Tag Team Champions.
American Television Title Kerry Von Erich (C) vs Gino Hernandez: Solid back and forth match Gino gets off a great Russian Leg Sweep and almost becomes the new champ as Kerry just kicks out . But Kerry sinks in that claw and Gino passes out . After the match Kerry keeps on the claw . Gino is bleeding now . Gordon , talks about Chris Adams is gone fulfilling a contract in Mexico this week . HHH though comes in and Kerry releases the hold and we have a stare down . Both men take their leave , never taking their eyes off one another .
Gordon : While we have a moment as Gino is being helped out , I want to bring in John Cena who showed up here last week and brother , I’ll tell you , you made quite an impact sir . What are you doing here ?
Cena : Well Gordon , I’ll tell you , it looks like I’m here to stay . I mean ha ha , one minute I’m having matches with Ric Flair in Kentucky and FU ing guys twice my size and the next I come to the arena . Roy Lee Welch gives me a bus ticket , anything to save a buck by the way, shakes my hand and I get off on Halsted in front of the arena .
I walk in and Dusty Rhodes and Jeff Hardy are in what you Gordon , would call a rather precarious situation. So I decided to jump in the middle of it and introduce myself to Chicago . Hi , I’m John Cena . It’s great to be here , Chicago . Looks like I’ll be sticking around as long as you will have me .
Seth Rollins comes out .
Rollins : All I heard about last week was John Cena . I actually debuted on this show got ignored . Of course I’m a wrestler and not a pin up model for some teenage girl’s bedroom .
Cena : Pffft . Well that’s because no teenage girl wakes up and says , I think Seth Rollins is dreamy . I mean look at his skinny arms and enlarged head on top of that tiny frame . It’s like a Funko Pop come to life .
Seth : Maybe I should shut that mouth of yours , John .
Cena : And maybe you should brush your teeth more , Seth , because bro , damn !!!
Rollins fires a Superkick at Cena , he catches it , spins Seth around and slaps him !!!
Rollins in shock , backs away as Cena now has a serous look on his face with his eyes locked on Rollins .
Gordon : WOW . Ok it’s time for our first Bunkhouse Quarter Final . Let’s go to the ring . And our new ring announcer is Freddy Miller .
Freddy : Gordon , this match is one fall with no time limit , no count outs , no disqualification, our first quarter final Bunkhouse match,.
From Burlington, North Carolina , Freebird Cameron Grimes.
His opponent from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania The Italian Superman Bruno Sammartino!!!
Bruno wants the tie up , but Grimes giving up size and power knows better . He ducks under , gets off a drop toe hold and then converts to an STF . Bruno powers his way out and press slams Grimes who rolls out of the ring . Grimes gets back in and Bruno charges for a spear like move . His shoulder hits the ring post and Grimes has his opening . He ties Bruno up in the ropes and stomps the hell out of his shoulder . Bruno falls out of the ring .
Grimes goes out after him . When Bruno tries to stand , Grimes smashes him with a chair to his back . Now goes up on the ring apron and gets off a Caveman Stomp on to the back of Bruno . He tries to roll Bruno in the ring to no avail . CLOTHESLINE OUT OF NOWHERE BY BRUNO!!! Bruno pummels his man with lefts and rights and then rolls him in the ring .
Bruno waits Grimes gets to his feet and Bruno goes for the Bearhug , but the back gives out . Now Grimes stomps and kicks on the back and then works a seated chin lock ! Bruno begins to fade . The ref checks the arm . It falls once . It falls twice ……. Bruno shows life on the third time . He fights to his feet , Grimes tries for a sleeper , but Bruno runs backward into a set of turnbuckles , squashing Grimes . Bruno with a Samoan Drop !!!
Hayes and Gordy hit the ring . It’s a 3 on one attack . It’s a Bunkhouse so the rules are out the window. Hayes with a Bulldog on Bruno ! Gordy with a Piledriver !!! Grimes goes up …. CAVEMAN STOMP !!! He struts around the ring all cocky . He covers 1…..2….. Ox Baker hits the ring with a baseball bat with s spike through it . Hayes , Gordy and the ref bales out !!! Ox pulls Grimes up and looks right at Gordy . He rubs the spike across the Grimes face , making him bleed . Then Ox goes out after Gordy , he and Hayes are in the run . The ref gets back in , Bruno sees a bloody Grimes , grabs him up , Running Powerslam !!!! Bruno covers 1……2……3 !!!!
Gordon : Well that was one of the craziest matches I have ever seen . For Freddy Miller , I’m Gordon Solie saying so long from the Windy City of Chicago!
