(Before the show Carlos Colon comes out and welcomes everyone to the show. He informs us that the winner of this tournament will be given a CWX contract.)
1. Daga vs Venum
Before the match begins we see Bullet Club members Jushin "Dark Thunder" Liger & TMDK have set up an area to watch the show. It has been said the winner of this Cup will be offered a place with Bullet Club. Daga & Venum put on a dazzling display. Both men are fast and agile. Venum catches Daga with a Hurracanrana into a cradle for a two count. He tries for a Sunset Flip but Daga counters into a cradle for a near fall. Venum hits a side kick to the gut then goes for an enzuguiri which Daga ducks. Daga hits a jumping knee then an overhead Belly to Belly. Venum rolls to the floor. Daga charges with a Suicida only to be met with a jumping kick.
Back in the ring Venum sends Daga in for a Backdrop but Daga flips and counters into a DDT. He then delivers a Russian Legsweep and transitions into a Crossface. Venum is in trouble here it looked as if he would tap out but was able to get his toe on the ropes. Venum is down in the corner and Daga hits a hesitation Dropkick. He signals for the Daga Suplex but Venum yurns it into an STO. He is set right up in the corner and nails a Moonsault! 1.. 2.. NO! He goes to the apron... Springboard Hurracanrana but Daga counters into a modified Backstabber! He locks in the Mataleón (Rear naked choke). Venum fights but finally taps out.

(After the match we see TMDK & Liger nodding their heads in approval.)
2. Ricky Martinez vs The Hood
While not a huge Fan Favorite the Temple gets behind Ricky against the relatively unknown in The Hood. Ricky sends him into the ropes and catches him with a Powerslam. Fistdrop from Martinez. The Hood backs into the corner as Ricky goes after him, but the Hood sticks a thumb to the eye of Martinez. Bulldog by the Hood then he follows with a few stomps to the head and neck. He goes for a Saito Suplex but Martinez floats out and lands a kick to the gut then delivers a Brainbuster. 1.. 2.. No.
The match continues and both men are getting in a few licks. Then Ricky has Hood in the corner he climbs to the 2nd rope and is raining punches down on the masked man. Hood hooks him from underneath and powers him up and Martinez hits his head on the ring post coming down. Hes staggered and Hood takes him down with a clothesline. He stays on him... Tornado DDT! 1.. 2.. NO! Martinez barely kicks out! Hood looks for a Piledriver but Ricky backdrops him then gives him a Side Backbreaker. He goes up looking for the Plasma Crunch (Codebreaker off the top rope) but Hood had it scouted and Dropped to his back and raised his knees which caught Martinez in the family jewels. No DQ in the Temple although the referee is admonishing The Hood. He grabs him and delivers a Double Underhook Facebuster(Pedigree). He covers for the 3 count.

3. Austin Theory vs Sonjay Dutt
Fans are behind Theory as he really impressed in his last match. But Sonjay gets the advantage early. He is beating the young kid down with kicks and punches instead of the usual High-Flying offense he was once famous for. He has him outside the ring and drops him gut first across an upright steel chair. Theory is holding his ribs in pain. Dutt returns to the ring and climbs the ropes for a dive to the floor. He leaps but Theory saw him coming and catches him in the breadbasket with a punch. He throws Dutt in the ring and nails him with a shotgun dropkick that sends him into the buckle.
Theory Monkey flips Dutt out then looks for the Theory of Revolution but Sonjay is able to counter into a legdrop Bulldog. He covers for two. Dutt goes for a Brainbuster but Austin blocks it and instead turns it into a Spinning Neckbreaker. Theory goes to the 2nd rope and nails a Forearm to the head of a still down Dutt. He covers 1.. 2.. no. Austin looks for a Brainbuster but the inured ribs stop him from getting him up. Dutt quickly hits a Fireman's Carry Gutbuster. Theory is down as Sonjay quickly scales the ropes and hits the Moonstomp! 1.. 2.. 3!

4. Lio Rush vs Bo Dallas
Two men who are a little more well known than some others in the tournament. IT's a contrast in styles with Lio being the consummate high flyer while Bo is a mat wrestler. And early on it's Bo who is dictating the pace. He has done everything he can to ground young Lio by working the leg. But Lio is able to hit a spinning single leg Mule Kick to the jaw of Dallas then follows with a Tilt-A-Whirl DDT. He hits the ropes and hits a running Shooting Star Press for a two count.
Lo looks to scale the ropes but the attack on his leg has slowed him slightly and Bo is able to catch him on the ropes and delivers a Powerslam off the middle rope! Dallas stays on him and hits Bo Dazzler (Sitout lifting double underhook Facebuster) 1.. 2.. NOOO!! Rush still has some fight in him. Bo snarls and sets him up for the Dallas Driver. but Lio is able to hook the ropes and Bo hits the mat then Lio hits a Springboard Corkscrew 540 KIck! Bo is staggered and LIo pounces and delivers What A Rush (Twisting inverted double underhook Facebuster)! 1.. 2.. 3!

Special Main Event: Cibernetico vs Mil Mascaras
It was announced at the start the winner of this would receive an Aztec Title match at the CWX TV taping. Cibernetico is an imposing figure who has been chasing gold in CWX over the last few months. Here is one more opportunity for him. But he faces a legend in Mexico in Mascaras. Some say his time here in CWX has not gone well. But tonight he can put himself in a great spot.
This is a simple power and strength vs agility and skill match-up. And it's Mil who is winning that battle early on. He even hits a hanging vertical suplex which was impressive considering the size of Cibernetico. MIl goes for a High Cross Body but Ciber catches him and delivers a Fallaway Slam. Now it's Cibernetico taking charge as he is unloading clubbing blows. Mil is being battered all over the ring and ringside area.
They wind up on the apron and Cibernetico goozles Mil for the Apocalyptica but when he lifts him MIl is able to counter and DDT's Cibernetico right on the apron! Mil sends him back in as the crowd rises. He goes up... Flying Body Press connects! 1.. 2.. 3!

(Mill celebrates then points up at Jushin Liger who is still watching and makes the sign of the belt. Liger just stares silently while TMDK scoff at the Mexican hero.)
