It’s standing room only inside the temple and the fans are RABID …. Pyro erupts from the ringposts and above the entranceway …. As the pyro explodes, the camera focuses on the MLW flag flying above the arena before panning the crowd …. We hear the voices of MAURO RENALLO and PAT McAFEE welcoming us to the show ….

The show opens with DONALD TRUMP making his grand entrance to the Temple as the Presidential theme plays …. As it is with everywhere he goes, Trump is a very polarizing figure and receives a mixed reaction ….


TRUMP – “Thank you, thank you (*waits for applause to die down*) You know, when I was president I said I was going to make America Great Again, and I made America the strongest nation on the planet Earth.  And now, starting tonight with all of your support, I am going to Make Wrestling Great Again.  I have taken a UK-based promotion, Paradigm Wrestling, and turned it into a truly Global brand.  I have opened my check book to sign the biggest former free agents in the business, and the doors of MLW have been opened to the best fighters from all over the world.  I have single-handedly assembled the deepest roster in the entire UWF!  And that great roster of fighters is going to have the opportunity to fight, to get rich, and to establish themselves as the top stars in the fight world …. Or they will die trying …. Because THIS IS THE TEMPLE!  This is not an arena where children come to cheer for their heroes.  This is not a place for PG-13 sports entertainment.  This is a place of courage, of honor, and my personal favorite, VIOLENCE! ….”    

One of the secret service men standing next to Trump hands him a briefcase, and he opens it to reveal the $1000,000 ‘Super Fight’ prize that will go to the winner of tonight’s main event between SHANE TAYLOR and BOBBY LASHLEY ….

TRUMP – “And in tonight’s main event ‘Super Fight’, this is what awaits the winner …. $100,000.  I have talked to both Bobby Lashley and Shane Taylor, and both of those men are ready to wage war tonight and ….”  


“GLO-RIOUS …. I WON’T GIVE IN … I WON’T GIVE IN … TILL I’M VICTORIOUS …”


Bobby Roode has arrived in the Temple!  Roode enters the ring and Secret Service block his path to Trump.  Trump assures them everything is ok and they let Roode through, and he wants to shake Trump’s hand …. Roode takes a mic and puts himself over as being one of the people Trump paid a lot of money to bring in to MLW, and says that Robert Roode is the foundation that this company will be built on …. He is the future of MLW, and the future will be ‘GLORIOUS’!

Trump says he likes Roode’s confidence, but he said that he was bringing in the best fighters from all over, like Roode’s opponent for tonight … Donovan Dijak!


ROBERT ROODE
vs.
DONOVAN DIJAK

Dijak was the final GFW champion before the promotion closed down …. Dijak looks good here, and it is clear that Roode isn’t facing some jobber …. Roode is able to overcome and pin Dijak with a Perfect-Plex after an entertaining match ….  


VIGNETTE:

We see a montage of Matt Riddle training …. It is filmed like a fight scene from a movie as Riddle takes on several sparring partners inside an octagon environment …. Riddle takes the first partner out with a Final Flash knee strike, then the 2nd guy comes in and Riddle takes him down and taps him out with an armbar …. The 3rd and final sparring partner comes in and Riddle takes him down and finishes him with ground and pound …. Matt Riddle returns TONIGHT …


TAYNARA CONTI
vs.
XIA LI

Both women are making their MLW debut, and both look very good …. Conti is a judoka that is a legitimate black belt in Judo and a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.  Xia Li is a Chinese fighter proficient in Wushu combat …. Both women show a sign of respect, both being martial arts fighters, by bowing to each other to start the match …. Good striking and action in this one, and both women lay their shit in pretty snug …. Conti avoids a running meteora in the corner, and when Li comes up limping Conti is able to hit the Tay-KO (Gory Special twisted into GTS) to score the 3 count ….

POST MATCH: We see a Chinese man in a black suit and sunglasses watching the action from the crowd …. When Xia loses, she turns and locks eyes with the man in the crowd, but he just turns and walks away in disgust ….


IN THE BACK:

Lashley is getting ready for tonight’s main event …. MVP is there and he asks what Shane Taylors problem is … MVP doesn’t really know … Lashley tells MVP he knows MVP represents Taylor, but Lashley is going to destroy him tonight because he’s tired of his shit ….


Back in the arena, we get the grand entrace of the brand new MLW champion, KILLER KROSS!!!!  …. As Kross and Scarlett make their entrance, we see highlights of Kross’ destructive debut at TEMPLE OF DOOM, where he destroyed Chris Jericho to win the MLW title ….



SCARLETT: “We interrupt your regularly scheduled program to give you a message from YOUR champion …”


KILLER KROSS:  “Do you hear that?  Tick Tock … That is time ticking away for the MLW locker room.  To some people, time ticks ever so slowly … To others, it is gone in a flash.  Time is the one constant in the universe.  Some waste it while others treasure it.  But no matter where the time is tolled, everyone … EVERYONE … Pays the toll.  At TEMPLE OF DOOM, Chris Jericho paid for his sins.  He was the first, but he will not be the last.  No, no, no.  Time can't be stopped, and neither can my rage.  Rage against the notion of hope.  There is none.  Rage against the notion that somehow there is an answer to the madness.  The skies will turn red and the sun will explode.  We are in the Last Days, and I am the herald that will bring forth the new beginning …. I … AM … INEVITABLE!  And all anyone can do in that final hour is ….”

SCARLETT:  “Fall ... and ... Pray ...”

KROSS: “Tick Tock ....”


They are interrupted as ‘JUDAS’ by Fozzy hits and out come CHRIS JERICHO!  Jericho is accompanied by an army of security that is trying to stop him from getting to the ring!  Jericho busts past security and hits the ring, going at it with crazy fists on Kross …. Kross no-sells it all and snatches Jericho up like he’s a child and tosses him across the ring with an exploder suplex!  Kross stalks Jericho … DOOMSDAY CLOCK DROPS HIM RIGHT ON HIS HEAD!  


Kross gets the crazy look in his eyes as he stands over Jericho, then he holds out his hand to Scarlett …. She hands him a roll of athletic tape, and Kross then starts taping up his fist with the tape!  He mounts Jericho and starts hammering down with the ground and pound using the taped fists!!!!  Kross opens up a huge cut above Jericho’s eye and he is bleeding all over the place!  Kross gets off and stares down at his bloody fist and gets that crazy look in his eyes …. Jericho tries to stumble back to his feet, BUT KROSS KILLS HIM WITH THE ZERO HOUR (running KO forearm to the back of the head)!  Jericho is a broken and bloody mess as Kross and Scarlett leave ….


MATT RIDDLE
vs.
ANGEL GARZA w/ Alberto Del Rio

Garza comes out introduced by Del Rio …. Garza puts himself over and says that he is lucha royalty, so that makes this HIS temple and HIS people …. Riddle comes out as a surprise opponent and the people pop big for Riddle’s return …. Garza laughs off Riddle and the ‘BRO!  BRO!  BRO!’ chant …. Garza charges BUT RUNS RIGHT INTO THE FINAL FLASH FROM RIDDLE!  Garza is pretty much done at this point, but to make sure Riddle picks him up and drills him with the Bro-Derek!  3 seconds later it’s all over ….

Riddle celebrates as Del Rio tends to Garza, who is still seeing stars ….


VIGNETTE:

WAR MACHINE vignette … We see an army of armored Vikings carrying shields and torches, and they are banging on their shields as the Viking horn sounds …. The soldiers part, and Hanson and Rowe step forward …. War Machine will make their MLW debut next week ….



THE NORTH (‘All Ego’ Ethan Page & ‘Walking Weapon’ Josh Alexander)
vs.
THE GUNN SHOW (Colton & Austin Gunn)

The Gunn Show really shows some promise here, but the North are too good and they end up finishing Colton off with the Northern Assault (Torture Rack by Alexander tossed into Sky High by Page) ….

POST MATCH:  The North get the mic and cut a promo talking about how this is a new era …. This is supposed to be the ‘Major Leagues’, but it’s an insult that the MLW tag titles are held by a ‘team that isn’t really a team’ …. Gargano & Ciampa disgrace the titles, and it should really be a team like The North!

This brings out the MLW tag champions Tomasso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano!  And they are together!  Ciampa & Gargano lock eyes with each other for a moment, then both guys turn and sprint for the ring!  Gargano is now matching the intensity of Ciampa, and becoming more and more like him the more they team together …. They brawl with Page & Alexander and clear the ring!  Gargano & Ciampa have Page set up for ‘Meet in the Middle’ but Alexander reaches in at the last minute and pulls Page to the floor to safety ….. Ciampa & Gargano stand tall, but AOP’s music hits!  Akam & Rezar come out at the top of the ramp and stare down Ciampa & Gargano, making it clear that there is unfinished business between them after what happened at TEMPLE OF DOOM ….


IN THE BACK:

We see Shane Taylor getting ready for his match against Lashley tonight …. MVP is there to try to talk Shane out of it, and he says he’s in a tough spot because both guys are his clients …. Taylor says MVP is responsible for getting him in the door here, but says when he walked in he changed the game …. MVP told him that they were going to do it together, but then MVP wants to walk it back when Lashley returned from his ‘vacation’ …. He says Lashley is the past, but Shane Taylor is the future and if MVP was a betting man then he would put his money on Taylor because Taylor is betting on himself ….


Up next, Becky Lynch comes out to the ring …. she looks worse for wear after her fight with Gina Carano at Temple of Doom, and she has a black eye and a broken nose …. Mauro and Pat show stills from the knee strike she took from Gina Carano during the match that broke her nose, but she still continued and finished the match ….


Becky says no excuses and she puts Gina over and thanks her …. For months Becky came out here in front of the world and called out everyone, and it took Gina Carano showing up for her to get the real fight she was looking for and together they headlined the first ever MLW big event …. and even with a broken nose and tasting my own blood, she loved every minute of it …. She loved it so much that she showed up here tonight wanting to fight again but the doctors won’t clear her …. Becky says she didn’t tap out, she finished the match and she passed out instead …. She finished the match, but it’s still an L in the loss column, and that doesn’t sit well with her …. So she wants to be the first person out here saying she wants to fight Carano again, because she is the only woman on this roster that can give her the fight she has been looking for ….

This brings out VALIFORNIA, led by Socal Val and the UWF Womens tag team champions Deonna Purazzo and Chelsea Green along with Raquel Gonzalez …. Deonna has the mic and chuckles at Becky …. Why is she even out here?  Becky is a loser, she isn’t even a champion …. She says Becky is a loser and the only reason she is out here again is because she is an attention whore and has no class …. She tells Becky to have some self-respect, do the right thing and bow out gracefully while she still can …. This is Valifornia’s ring and Becky is on their time now …. Becky won’t leave the ring …. Deonna tells Gonzalez to get rid of Becky, but they are interrupted by the arrival of Gina Carano!  

Gina enters the ring ang basically ignores the fact that Valifornia is even there, and she walks right past them …. Deonna looks insulted …. SoCal Val takes the mic and makes an offer to Gina to give her a spot in Valifornia, all she has to do is take Becky out now …. Gina steps and gets right in Becky’s face, and Valifornia start celebrating like Gina is gonna join them …. But Gina turns and stands side by side with Becky instead!  That is enough to send everyone retreating from the ring but Raquel Gonzalez, who steps and gets nose to nose with Gina like she gives zero fucks …. Finally, after a few tense moments, Gonzalez backs away as Purazzo beckons her to leave with them …. Gina turns back to Becky, then offers her a hand shake …. The two shake hands and Gina leaves the ring as Becky’s music plays ….


HIGHLIGHT PACKAGE:

We see highlights of TEMPLE OF DOOM and the appearance of Adam Cole …. As the package is playing, we get static and it is intercut with quick images of a room with newspaper clippings of Adam Cole all over the wall …. There is a knife sticking into a picture of Cole on the wall ….



MAIN EVENT: $100,000 ‘Super Fight’
BOBBY LASHLEY
vs.
SHANE TAYLOR

MVP is at ringside and Lashley gets pissed and sends MVP to the back …. It’s clear that these guys just don’t like each other, despite the fact that MVP manages both of them …. Taylor is clearly out to supplant Lashley ….

These two collide in a big hoss battle …. They do the spot where each guy hits a shoulder tackle off the ropes trying to knock the other guy off his feet, but Lashley baits Taylor then lays him out with a clothesline …. In the early moments Lashley shows his advantage of having more experience than Taylor, but Taylor eventually turns the tide with his talent level …. Similar to Keith Lee, Taylor has good striking and movement for a guy his size …. Taylor surprises Lashley with a 340lb suicide dive to the floor, and we get a lot brawling all over the ringside area …. Lashley manages to spear Taylor through the barricade and into the front row, but Taylor makes it back into the ring at a count of 9!  We get both guys in the middle of the ring trading strikes now, but Lashley would hit a German suplex that Taylor no-sells and he hits a pump knee strike that rocks Lashley.  Taylor hits the Marcus Garvey Driver (Package Piledriver) for a close 2!!!!  Taylor calls for the finish, and he scoops Lashley up for ‘Welcome to the Land’, but Lashley slips out and transitions into the Anaconda Vice!  Taylor starts to fade, but he summons the rest of his strength to pick Lashley up and charges into the buckle, slamming Lashley into the corner with such force that it snaps the top rope!  Both men are down and the ring is in shambles! …. Both guys try to get to their feet, when 3 men hit the ring and attack both guys!  They are identified as Wesley Blake, Steve Cutler and Jaxon Ryker, THE FORGOTTEN SONS!  The ref immediately calls for the bell

We have seen these guys function as hired guns for Donald Trump back before the MLW rebranding, but haven’t seen them in months!  They attack Lashley and Taylor, who are already weakened, and beat them down.  Ryker takes Lashley out with a powerbomb, then Cutler and Blake hit the Lost & the Damned (reverse DDT + Diving foot stomp) on Taylor …. Ryker takes the briefcase from ringside containing the $100,000 and the Forgotten Sons leave with the money ….
