Mauro Renallo & Wade Barrett are ringside to kick off the show and they talk about what we just saw .... After being attacked by The North earlier today, Jeff Cobb has been taken to the hospital and we can confirm that Cobb indeed has a broken arm .... Because of the injury The Chosen Bros are unable to compete in the tag team tournament! .... It was scheduled to be the Chosen Bros vs. The North, but due to the chaos that match has been cancelled and instead it will be Matt Riddle vs. Ethan Page one on one!

They hype the rest of tonight’s show, which will see Candice LeRae in a Paradigm ring for the first time since her husband Johnny Gargano’s injury .... Deonna Purazzo and Drew McIntyre will also make their in-ring debuts tonight, with McIntyre taking on Jay Lethal in the main event .... They also hype Elite Champion Chris Jericho’s appearance on tonight’s ‘Pat McAfee Show’ ....


1. Deonna Purazzo (UNITED STATES) vs. Nina Samuels (GREAT BRITAIN)

The match begins and Purazzo is like a surgeon in the ring, breaking down Samuels in lots of different submissions holds .... excellent mat work here as Purazzo weaves her tapestry at Samuels’ expense .... after working the arm, Purazzo locks in the Venus De Milo for the tap out win ....


Purazzo grabs a mic and says she is an artist, and the the only proper way to open this show is with someone with class like the 'Virtuosa' .... Purazzo mentions the upcoming Monarch title tournament, and claims that a title that exemplifies class in this business ....  Purazzo is interrupted by the arrival of Bianca BelAir!  GURRRRL UH UH!  BelAir says she doesnt even paint, but if she ever decided to, she would be the EST at that just like she is the EST at everything else.  Purazzo says that BelAir doesnt have class, and the title deserves to be around the waist of someone with sophistication.  BelAir removes her hoop earrings and is ready to fight, but Purazzo slides out of the ring and tells her to save it for the Monarch title tournament ....

Now Thunder Rosa comes out!  Rosa has a mic and she claims she is going to be the one that wins the Monarch title .... The segment turns into all the women squabbling about who is going to win the championship as we go to the back ....


BACKSTAGE w/ DASHA FUENTES -

Dasha gets a word with MVP, who is here alone tonight .... MVP clarifies, saying that Lashley isn't here because he's hurt, he isn't here because Eric Bischoff GAVE him the night off .... * * We are shown a replay of Lashley attacking Lee and locking on the Hurt Lock, but Lee deadlifting the 278 lb Lashley and sending them both crashing through the LED board to the concrete floor below .... both guys do stretcher jobs out of the arena * * .... MVP is tired of hearing about Keith Lee, and says Lashley is the one everyone should be talking about because he's a machine and a destroyer .... Lashley will be back next week, and he says Keith Lee should call in sick that day because bad things happen to him when he and Lashley are in the same building at the same time .... Dasha asks why MVP is here tonight when Lashley is at home, to which MVP simply replies 'Its just business ....'


2. Alexander Hammerstone w/ Austin Theory & Brandi Lauren (UNITED STATES) vs. Angel Garza (MEXICO)

Austin Theory gets sent to the back for being caught interfering in the match .... During the chaos, out of the crowd comes Alberto Del Rio!  * Del Rio has a full beard and his shirt is wrinkled and stained and untucked .... He looks like he hasn't showered in a month .... * .... Del Rio grabs a chair from ringside and tosses it to Garza, who looks confused by this .... Garza sees the ref is still distracted by Brandi, so he quickly tosses the chair to Hammerstone!  Garza flops like Eddie Guerrero, acting like Hammerstone hit him with the chair .... the ref turns and sees Garza down and Hammerstone with the chair, and immediately calls for the bell giving Garza the win by DQ!

Garza eyes Del Rio cautiously, but he smiles and winks at Brandi, who is even more pissed knowing she provided the distraction that allowed the shenanigans to happen ....


BACKSTAGE w/ DASHA FUENTES -

Now we are in Jay Lethal’s locker room as he is getting ready for tonight’s match .... His former partner Elijah Burke walks in!  Lethal doesn’t look too happy to see him .... Lethal clarifies his comments last week and says they weren’t directed at New Age Rage .... Burke says it doesn’t matter, he’s just here to support Lethal .... he tries to hype him up for McIntyre tonight and says he’s here to watch Lethal grab the brass ring because it’s his time .... Pope will be watching and he’s got big plans ...


3. Ilja Dragunov (RUSSIA) vs. Ridge Holland (GREAT BRITAIN) vs. Kota Ibushi (JAPAN)

The issues between these 3 have started with a brawl between Holland and Dragunov, then came to involve Ibushi as well.  Here they go to war in a triple threat match full of striking and strong style .... Ibushi would hit the Gold Star powerbomb on Dragunov, only to have Holland break it up .... Holland scoops Ibushi up for Northern Grit but Dragunov breaks it up with a Torpedo Moscow to Holland!  With Holland down, Dragunov lines up Ibushi and hits another Torpedo Moscow for the 3 count!

Dragunov celebrates, but Holland is shown fuming at ringside, obviously the issues between these two are not over ....


BACKSTAGE w/ DASHA FUENTES -

The North are in the back and say its too bad about Jeff Cobb's 'accident' earlier tonight .... They were just trying to help him get in the car but he stuck out his arm on purpose because he didnt want to fight them.  Oh well, Looks like they get a bye to the finals.  Eric Bischoff comes in and says thats not the case because he swapped their position in the bracket with Mustache Mountain.  So no Mustache Mountain gets the bye to the finals, and tonight The North face The Empire!  Page and Alexander arent happy about this at all ....




Pat McAfee comes out and says last week he got a lot of heat on social media, especially from his guest tonight, for his choice of guest on the debut of the PAT MCAFEE show .... His guest tonight feels that HE should have been the debut guest, and he welcomes out the Paradigm ELITE champion Chris Jericho ....


McAfee tries to talk nd but Jericho interrupts him ....


JERICHO - 'Quiet McAfee ... Quiet ... QUIET!  You must think you are some kind of big shot now huh?  ESPN ... Barstool Sports ... Sirius XM ... your own Podcast ... and now a prominent segment with Paradigm Wrestling.  You're welcome.  Because we all know that success is because Chris Jericho, the Haley's Comet of Wrestling, is your ELILTE champion bay bay!  Too bad you have already screwed it all up.  Drew McIntyre?  Really???  You choose Drew McIntyre as your debut guest, instead of the biggest star in this or any other company???  I am tired of the disrespect.  I'm tired of the disrespect from you, from these people in the audience, and even from Eric Bischoff.  You are all a bunch of SYUPID IDIOTS!  And last week I said I was making a list of everyone that owed me a thank you for elevating this company, and guess what McAfee?  Do you know what happens when you don’t thank Chris Jericho?  Do you know what happens when you disrespect Chris Jericho?  Do you?  Do you know what happens?  Thats right McAfee ... YOU JUST MADE THE LIST!' 

The lights flicker and go out!  A spotlight shines in the rafters, showing Noir perched in the balcony wearing his mirror mask .... the light shines off his mask like a disco ball .... The lights drop again and when they come back on Cara Noir is gone .... Jericho is FURIOUS and he’s yelling at McAfee and claiming he is behind it, but Pat plays innocent and insists he doesn’t know what’s going on .... Jericho just cuts the interview short and storms off, ending the segment ....




KEITH LEE video package ... Lee is promoted as coming back next week ...


4. Candice LeRae (UNITED STATES) vs. Reika Saiki (JAPAN)

The crowd is really behind Candice here despite Saiki being popular as well .... The action is back and forth, but Candice is able to negate Saiki’s power and catch her in the Gargano Escape!  Saiki fights it but eventually taps out ....  



BACKSTAGE w/ DASHA FUENTES -

Back in Jay Lethals locker room, we see MVP approach Lethal wanting to 'talk business' .... He offers his assistance tonight but Lethal declines .... He says he doesn’t need MVP to be a success .... MVP tells him to think about it and he leaves, and as he walks out we see Elijah Burke standing outside the locker room waiting on him .... Burke says ‘let’s talk’ and then they walk off together ....


5. Paradigm Tag Team Title Tournament: The North (Ethan Page & Josh Alexander) —— CANADA vs. The Empire (Shinske Nakamura & Hideo Itami) —— JAPAN

The North are backed into a corner here and they come out fighting .... Itami and Nakamura are more than happy to meet them .... The action goes back and forth, but more shenanigans by The North allow them to get the win after Page sacrifices his partner, allowing Nakamura to hit the Kinshasaa on Alexander while Page immediately rolls Nakamura up from behind with a handful of tights for the quick 3 count!!!!

POST MATCH:  Riddle hits the ring and attacks Alexander & Page!  He lights them up with strikes and kicks but the numbers game catches up to him quickly and the North double team him .... Nakamura & Itami come back in and make the save for Riddle, and Nakamura has Page set up for the Kinshasaa but Alexander grabs his leg and pulls him to safety .... the North bail out ....


BACKSTAGE w/ DASHA FUENTES -

In the back, Dasha catches up with Candice LeRae after her match .... Dasha says Candice has been added to the Monarch title tournament coming up at the Cockpit show .... Candice is very emotional and says it is bittersweet given that Johnny is home hurt .... but she’s a professional and she knew she had to be here tonight to do her job .... She says she is going to make the most of her opportunity .... Dasha asks her for a health update on Johnny and Candice teases that an announcement could be coming from him sooner than you think .... Theyve both had to make some tough choices lately ....

We hear clapping coming from off-screen and the camera pans to show Eddie Kingston .... Eddie congratulated her on her win and says as long as she stays in the women’s division with the other rats they won’t have a problem .... He says she needs to ‘stay in her lane’ and nothing will happen to her or ‘Mr. LeRae’ ....


6. Jay Lethal (UNITED STATES) vs. Drew McIntyre (SCOTLAND)

Hard-hitting match that can go either way down the stretch .... Lethal hits several big moves making you think he was about to win, but McIntyre survives .... Lethal would survive the Future Shock, but McIntyre avoids the Lethal Injection and scores with the Claymore to pin Lethal in 16 minutes ....


Elijah Burke is out to console Lethal afterwards, and McIntyre offers a handshake to Lethal but he refuses and walks out leaving both of them standing in the ring ....
