Jim Ross: "Hello once again wrestling fans! And welcome to WCW Nitro! We have a huge show lined up tonight as we will have the Semi-Finals of the WCW TV Tournament. And not only that, but the IWA Womens world champion, Asuka will be in action. But I understand right now, we have an announcement from WCW General Manager, Eric Bischoff."





Eric Bischoff: "Thank you JR! As you announced last week, WCW will play host to the huge IWA ppv, Superclash on April 24th. And I'm proud to announce that on that night, we will crown the first ever WCW Heavyweight champion. And we are going to do it in a 30 man Rumble match! The last man standing will be your WCW Heavyweight champion!"





Jim Ross: "That's huge news! I cant wait to see that one unfold! Fans, its time for our opening contest."



WCW TV Ttile Semi-Final: Jerry Lawler vs Sabu

Lawler has some trouble with the methodical Sabu in the early going. And once Sabu gains control of the match he keeps it for several minutes until there is a ref bump. Lawler then makes his comeback, but The LOC and Eddie Gilbert rush to the ring and Gilbert nails Lawler with a chair. Here comes the Freebirds!! The Birds and LOC fight all over the arena. Inside the ring Sabu hits the Arabian Facebuster (Jumping somersault leg drop onto a steel chair) The ref crawls over, 1......2.......3!!! Sabu advances to the Finals!



As we head into break, we once again see The Radicalz make their way to sit at ringside.








***COMMERCIAL BREAK***





Gene Okerlund: "Welcome back fans. We just seen another wild brawl between Eddie Gilbert and The LOC with The Freebirds and Jerry Lawler. That thing is getting more and more out of control as the weeks....."


Okerlund is interrupted by the appearance of Owen Hart.




Owen Hart: "So the IWA wants to hold a huge pay per view on April 24th? And how convenient is it that the so called IWA Cruiser champion, Rey Mysterio, hasn't been seen in how many months? Hes probably took the title down to Mexico and sold it for a few pesos. How can the IWA let this stand? IWA.... Enough is enough! Do yourself a favor. Put me into a match against Mysterio at SuperClash and I will bring the title back to a country that symbolizes Class and integrity..... Canada!! And then you can have a champion to be proud of."

Gene Okerlund: "OHHHH MY!! Owen Hart with the surprise appearance. What else is going to happen here tonight?"



Match Two: Asuka vs Ruby Riott for the IWA Womens title

Riott goes for a handshake before applying a side headlock. Riott wrenches the arm and shoulders her. Riott goes for a shoulder block, but Asuka stays standing. Asuka shoves her. Riott hits the ropes, but Asuka follows her in. Riott shoulder blocks her down for a one count. Asuka quickly grabs the arm and takes her down. Asuka shoves her into the corner and rips at the face. Riott quickly elbows her back and goes for a head-scissor, but Asuka kicks her in the ribs for a two count.

Asuka sends her shoulder-first into the turnbuckle. Asuka chokes her on the ropes and pulls the hair. Asuka puts her on the apron, but Riott knocks her back. Asuka quickly hits her with a hip attack to send her to the floor. Asuka gets on the apron and hits a sliding knee strike to the chest. Asuka goes to send her into the barricade, but Riott sends her over instead. Back inside the ring, Asuka goes for a hip attack, but Riott moves. Riott then kicks her in the chest to knock her out of the ring. As Asuka gets to her feet, a fan hits her in the back of a head with a chair!!!!



IT'S BRITT BAKER!!!!


The ref calls for the bell. Baker jumps over the barricade and pummels Asuka with the chair. Baker walks over to the announcer and rips the housemic out of their hand. Baker then places the chair over Asuka and sits down on it, holding Asuka down.......



Britt Baker: "Remember me Asuka? The woman you tried to blind six months ago! The woman who is the last recorded number one contender to your IWA World title? Did you think that just because the IWA decided to shut down operations due to some overrated pandemic that I would just go away? I've been waiting for this very moment. For six long months, I have done nothing but consume your existence. And now, I will do nothing short of destroying that very existence. I'm back Asuka! And I'm coming for that IWA World title."

Gene Okerlund: "Fans, after what's went down the past few weeks, we would not be doing you any justice without interviewing my guest at this time, "The Total Package" Lex Luger! Lex, it seems that you and Sting may not be on the same page as of late. Some say that you might even be in business for yourself?"




Lex Luger: "What are you talking about Okerlund? This is typical media.... making more out of a situation than what's really there. All I did last week, is what any true best friend would do. I seen Sabu using the tables, breaking the rules, and I seen the Stinger was in trouble. So I came down to help my best friend out. Nothing more..... nothing less! Please, stop making up all these accusations and trying to make problems between me and the Stinger!"

Gene Okerlund: "Well there you have it from the horses mouth. Luger says there's no problems between him and Sting. Fans it's time for our Main event of the evening."



WCW TV Title Tournament Semi-Final: Matt Riddle vs Ric Flair

Test of strength to start before Riddle takes it to a wristlock and gets a cross armbar, looking for the early win. Flair rolls and strains, only getting out after stomping Riddle in the face and then going for a few chops in the corner. Riddle comes in with slaps and Flair cuts him off with a big knee and Riddle hits a big one on a springboard. He goes for the followup baseball slide slap but the Flair dodges and lays him out from the apron before running him into the guardrail twice, looking for a countout.

Flair chucks Riddle across the ring on a biel throw, following it up with chokes and scrapes in the corner. Riddle tries to come back with slaps but Flair cuts him off with a stomp to the foot, working the leg of Riddle. Flair goes for the figure four and Riddle reverses it into his own fisherman buster! Flair goes for the leg and Riddle comes at him with knees to the ribs before the rolling Karelin Lifts. Double knees in the corner and Flair returns the favor with a huge suplex.....that Riddle no sells! Flair begs if, then lights up Riddle with chops. Riddle lighting Flairss chest up with kicks, but Flair comes back with a forearm but eats a knee and a German Suplex. Riddle grabs the Kimura but he can't get it all the way in and Flair goes for a suplex only to have Riddle pop out. Elbows for elbows! Then Riddle hits BRO-TO-SLEEP!!! 1.....2......3!!! MATT RIDDLE ADVANCES TO THE FINALS!




The fans chant BRO! BRO! BRO! As Flair looks on in shock! Flair cant believe it! Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard come down to try and calm Flair down but Flair is going nuts! Flair walks around ringside arguing with the fans then sees Chris Benoit and The Radicalz laughing at Flairs loss. Flair talks some smack as Arn and Tully try to hold Flair back.....Flair slaps Benoit in the face!! Benoit and the Radicalz jump the barricade and they brawl all around ringside with The Horsemen as security Storm the ringside area as show fades to black.
