The themesong for The Pinnacle #3 is ‘Whatever it takes’ by Imagine Dragons. The show opens to a highlights package playing to this hyping up tonights matches.




We go to the ring with Jessica Mauboy who sings the Australian National Anthem. Justin Roberts then introduces the commentators for tonight. The first is Mike Tenay. Substituting for Chris Bosh who is action tonight is the one and only Chad Cash (booooo). The third commentator is the special guest commentator for the night UWF Heavyweight Champion JOHN CENA!!!

Tenay and Cash run down the match card for tonight. Cena says he has particular interest in the main event in which the winner goes on to face him for his title at Wrestlemania. When asked who he thinks will prevail, Cena says he think that little vegan dweebs luck is about to run out and he predicts Daniel Bryan is in for a humiliating night.




APW AUSTRALIAN TITLE: BUDDY MURPHY [C] vs ADAM BROOKS

Murphy and Brooks are great friends with Murphy having trained and bought Brooks into the business. After a recent tour of Canada, Brooks has learned a new move in the Canadian Destroyer which he has been putting people away with left and right. Murphy has seemed to be jealous with the attention his friend Brooks is getting lately with his impressive move. The two start off with a fist bump and have a nice athletic contest. Murphy works as a subtle heel and takes over on his smaller opponent. Brooks makes a fiery comeback and out of nowhere hits the Canadian Destroyer! 1…………..2………….3

Winner and NEW APW AUSTRALIAN CHAMPION: ADAM BROOKS (10:15)

Brooks cant believe he has won his 2nd APW Australian Title. Tenay and Cash put over the move but Cena does not seem as impressed. Brooks tries to help his friend Murphy to his feet but Murphy is a sore loser and pushes Brooks away before storming off up the isle by himself cussing out fans.

APW TAG TEAM TITLES 3 WAY ELIMINATION MATCH: THE REVIVAL [c] VS THE ROCK N ROLL EXPRESS VS THE NEW AGE RAGE (w/ALI ‘CALI’ ELLIOT)

The rules are only 2 men in the ring at a time, yet opposition teams CAN NOT refuse a tag from the opposing team. Elimination rules. Morton from the The Rock n Roll and Lethal from the New Age Rage start off. The two teams go back and forth with some high flying action. The Revival begin to laugh there ass off on the outside as they watch their opponents beat the piss out of each other. The two babyface teams smarten up and agree to tag in The Revival to shut them up. The Express and NAR take turn kicking the crap out of The Revival. After some under handed tactics The Revival take back control over The RNR Express and put Gibson away with The Shatter Machine. (ROCK N ROLL EXPRESS ELIMINATED). The Revival then get the heat on Burke before a hot tag is made to Lethal. The Rage go on exactly that, a rage! They get some revenge on the team who took them out of action for 6 months and plant Dash with The Rage Killer to get the win.

Winners and NEW APW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS:THE NEW AGE RAGE (ELIJAH BURKE & JAY LETHAL w/ALI ‘CALI’ ELLIOT) (12:07)

The Rage celebrate with some fans as Tenay puts them over as perhaps the best tag team in APW History, Cena makes fun of how the Rock n Roll have fallen since their alignment in RWA.




GREGORY HELMS VS CHRIS BOSH

Helms, who has dropped The Hurricane gimmick he was using 18 months ago in a tag team with Chris Bosh, has had a chip on his shoulder since returning to APW. He blames Bosh for turning him into a joke. Bosh has come out of retirement for one night to teach the kid a lesson. Bosh schools Helms with some old tricks making Helms looks foolish. Helms throws a tantrum and goes to the outside. Bosh shows he still has it and hits a nice dive. Bosh throws Helms back in the rign but Helms takes over after a neckbreaker. Helms goes for a Shining Wizard but Bosh ducks and nails Lioncock (Punch to Groin) Cena on commentary is besides himself as to why it isnt a DQ. Bosh goes for the Screwyou Driver but Helms floats over into the Eye of the Hurricane which he is calling the Nightmare on Helms Street. Helms inst finished. He picks Bosh up and nails him with the Vertebreaker. 1…...2…...3

WINNER: GREGORY HELMS (6:17)

Helms celebrates much to the chagrin of the fans. Cash says he might be on commentary for a few more weeks as Bosh recovers from that brutal move. Cena puts over Helms’ new attitude and says that is how you get things done!




THE VILLAIN CLUB (‘The Villain’ Marty Scurll, ‘The Bastard’ PAC, & ‘The Bruiser’ William Regal) vs THE MIGHTY DONT KNEEL (Dowie James, Nick Miller, & Shane Thorne w/Bill Dundee)

These two teams have been feuding for the best part of 6 months and it finally comes to an end tonight. The Villain Club have officially aligned themselves with the APW Heavyweight Champion Finn Balor and plan to take over APW, while the militia for ‘good’ in APW has always been Bill Dundee and his young Aussie proteges and they plan to kill the cancer before it grows. TMDK take care of Regal early on until an illegal umbrella shot by Scurll allows The Villains to take control of Miller. The crowd get right behind there local heroes and rally Miller to make the hot tag to Dowie. Dowie comes in an cleans house. It breaks down into a chaotic 6 way with all men hitting there signature moves on one another. PAC goes to plant Dowie with the Red Arrow but Dowie gets his knees up and plants PAC with the Dowie River Plunge (Tiger Driver) for the 3!

WINNERS: TMDK (9:45)

The Aussies celebrate as the commentators wonder what Finn Balor thinks of this. Cena says that the villain club might want to make it back to Balor later tonight if they know what he means.




APW JUNIORWEIGHT TITLE: DARBY ALLIN [C] vs RODERICK STRONG

Roddy and Darby shake hands before the match which makes Cena sick on commentary. The two have an exciting clean Juniorweight match. Strong takes control and works the back of Darby planting him with a bunch of sick backbreakers. The finish comes when Roderick Strong goes for his Strong Hold (Boston Crab) but Darby counters and rolls him up in a cradle. 1…..2….3

WINNER: DARBY ALLIN (8:15)

Tenay puts over Darby as this being the biggest win of his career as Darby and Strong shake hands. Cena says he doesn't get the whole punk facepaint fakeboard thing.




APW WOMANS TITLE: INDI HARTWELL [C] (w/ Victoria & The Filip Brothers) vs RHEA RIPLEY (w/Toni Storm)

Indi has held the title for 1 year and is the definition of chicken shit heel as she has barely won a match clean for her entire reign thanks to her best friend Victoria and her stooges The Filip Brothers who she strings along. Rhea Ripley is undefeated since arriving in APW however a brutal assault on her leg on the last APW by Indi’s mob has left her at 50% at best. Toni Storm is providing some much needed back up for her friend. Rhea throws Indi around like a rag doll until Indi hits a dropkick to the injured leg. Indi works the leg. Indi goes for the Indi Death Lock (Figure 4) but Rhea kicks her off and nails a big lariat. Rhea on one leg makes her comeback and the crowd are going nuts. Victoria tries to get involved but Storm drags her down and takes her out by throwing her into the guard rail. The ref is distracted by this which allows The Filip Brothers in the ring. They go to sandwich Rhea but she moves and the two idiots clash heads. Rhea then body slams Stevie Filip onto his brother all on one leg!!!! The crowd pop for that but Indi rolls Rhea up from behind. 1……………………...2…………………………

RHEA KICKS OUT AND TRANSITIONS INTO THE PRISON TRAP!!!!!! INDI IS STUCK IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RING AND TAPS OUT!!!!

WINNER AND NEW APW WOMANS CHAMPION: RHEA RIPLEY (7:01)

Rhea and her friend Toni celebrate much to the enjoyment of the crowd as Indi Hartwell’s reign of terror finally comes to an end at the hands of the local hero.




UWF INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE: JON MOXLEY VS MJF (w/WARDLOW) SPECIAL REFEREE:???

MJF introduces the special referee to be:



ZELINA VEGA

The manager of the #1 contender to the UWF Intercontinental Title at Wrestlemania The Great Muta is the special referee. Moxley seems agitated by this while MJF laughs his ass off. Obviously MJF and Vega have some sort of deal. Moxley takes MJF off guard with a tackle. Vega is quick to block the attack when she warns Moxley about using a closed fist. Moxley gives her the finger and tells her to disquallify him which MJF begs her not to do (because he cant win the title that way). Moxley beats the piss out of MJF until Wardlow nails him with a lariat. Vega pretends to have something in her eye at the exact same time of contact. MJF gets heat on Moxley. MJF tries some pins with a Vega fast count but Moxley keeps kicking out. MJF begins to get frustrated. Moxley makes a comeback and plants MJF with the Death Rider. He pins MJF but Vega does an incredibly slow count and stops entirely at 2. Moxley gets up and backs Vega into a corner and threatens to do his worst. Wardlow tries to get involved but Moxley socks him with a right. MJF nails Moxley with a dropkick sending him into Vega crushing her. MJF goes for Crossrhodes but Moxley counters into a back body drop. Out runs MUTA who enters the ring and nails Moxley with a spin kick! MJF picks Moxley up and holds him for Muta. Muta goes for a superkick but Moxley ducks and Muta nails MJF!!!! Muta turns around goes to mist Moxley but he ducks again and Muta MISTS ZELINA VEGA!!! Vega is blinded and screams in pain. Moxley throws Muta out of the ring and plants MJF with another Death Rider. Moxley does his best MJF impression and yells at Vega to count quick. Vega who is blinded does a fast count not knowing its Moxley on top!!!! 1.2.3

WINNER: JON MOXLEY (18:20)

Muta takes Moxley down as soon as the match bell sounds. Moxley and Muta brawl into the crowd before referees and security break up the scuffle.




APW HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE: FINN BALOR [C] (w/THE VILLAIN CLUB) vs CM PUNK

Punk returned at the Royal Rumble and won earning a title shot at Finn Balor. Balor has recently aligned with The Villain Club, however Punk on the other hand has NO friends based upon the way he was such a manipulative asshole during his last APW run. Punk’s old friend and manager Armando Estrada has offered Punk the services of himself and his monster Bronson Reed for tonight to even the number, but Punk declined much to the chagrin of Estrada.

Balor and Punk have a great contest. Its even early on until Punk takes control. The Villain Club provide a distraction at ringside which they are there for which allows Balor to take control.  Balor works the ribs of Punk that he injured two TV tapings ago with a Coup De Grace. Punk eventually makes a comeback. Punk gets a number of near falls but the interference and distractions from the Villain Club behind the refs are becoming ridiculous. Punk goes for a GTS but Balor grabs the ropes. Punk yansk Balor off but the momentum swings Balor’s legs into the referee taking him out. The Villain Club jump the ring and the 4 on 1 assault begins. This brings out Estrada and Bronson Reed!

Reed takes on all 4 members of The Villain Club as AAE yells out instructions. It takes all of Scurll, Regal, and PAC to get Reed to the outside where they continue the brawl. In the ring Punk catches Balor with a roundhouse. Punk then sees AAE standing in the ring and Reed on the outside. Punk yells at Estrada ‘WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!!!’ Punk and AAE go back and forth as Balor sneaks behind Punk and nails the 1916. The ref makes a slow count. 1……………………...2………………...KICKOUT!!!!

Balor is up and grabs Estrada by the throat. Balor is about to sock AAE but Punk makes the save with a spear. Punk tells AAE to get out of his business once again. Balor shoves Punk into AAE sending Estrada to the outside. Balor nails a slingblade and goes up top for the Coup De Grace. Punk moves but Balor rolls through. Balor charges at Punk but gets caught in a GTS!!! 1………..2…………..3

WINNER AND NEW APW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION: CM PUNK (32:35)

Punk is awarded the title and gets his arm raised. AAE enters the ring and raises the other hand of Punk. Punk jerks his hand away which sends AAE flat on his ass. Punk tells AAE to F*** off which the commentators apologise for. Punk leaves as AAE sits on his ass in the ring dumbfounded.



A highlights package to the tune of Radioactive by Imagine Dragons plays which highlights the rivalry between Daniel Bryan and Kurt Angle. At GLORY Kurt Angle was screwed out of the UWF Heavyweight Title by MJF. In the meantime Daniel Bryan won the Best of the Best tournament to earn the right to face John Cena at Wrestlemania. When Kurt Angle learned the news that Daniel Bryan had won the WM title match instead of he, Angle got jealous. Angle turned on Daniel Bryan in a vicious beatdown turning his back on the fans. Angle then cost Daniel Bryan the APW Heavyweight Title by assisting Finn Balor to win. Bryan then forfeited the UWF juniorweight title to regain his focus as he was being spread to thin in the lead up to mania. Bryan then offered to put his Wrestlemania title shot on the line to get his hands on Kurt Angle. 2 months ago Daniel Bryan was the APW Heavyweight Champion, UWF Juniorweight Champion, and #1 contender for the UWF Heavyweight Title at Wrestlemania. After tonight he may have lost it all. Oh and John Cena is on commentary. What could go wrong?




WINNER FACES JOHN CENA AT WRESTLEMANIA FOR THE UWF HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE: KURT ANGLE vs DANIEL BRYAN

This one starts out at break neck speed with both ment reading stiff shots. Bryan sends Angle to the outside and hits a big suicide dive. Bryan charges at Angle full speed ahead but Angle catches Bryan and gives him an overhead belly to belly into the timekeepers area folding Bryan up like an accordion and taking out the timekeeper! Angle lays some more kicks into Bryan and then drags him out and send him into the steps. Angle brings Bryan back into the ring and gets some heat.

Bryan makes a comeback and starts getting his kick game going. Bryan comes off the ropes with a huge lariat combo and plants Angle with a dragon suplex for a close 2 count. Bryan goes up top and nails a diving headbut for 2. Bryan goes for the labell lock but Angle counters into a german suplex combo. The straps come down and Angle sets Bryan up for the Angle Slam. Bryan floats over and nails an arm drag sending Angle through the second rope on the commentary side. Bryan rebounds off the other side of the ring and nails a suicide dive but he hits Angle with so much momentum that Bryan flies over Angle, lands on the commentary booth, and hits Cena with an errant kick knocking Cena down. The ref tires to get Angle into the ring which allows Cena to club Bryan across the face with his medically approved doctors glove apparatus. This busts Bryan open who is now knocked out on the floor. Angle gets in the ring while the ref begins to count to 10.

7…………..8………………..9…………...Bryan drags himself back into the ring to beat the ten count with blood pouring down his face. Bryan uses the ropes to drag himself to his feet. He is on spaghetti legs as Angle like a cat nails the Angle Slam. 1………………..2…………….KICKOUT!!!

Angle argues with the ref who is adamant it was just a 2 count. Angle grabs the ankle and locks in the Ankle Lock!!!! Bryan screams in pain with blood pouring from his face to the mat. The crowd erge Bryan not to give up. Bryan raises his hand threatening to tap but with one last ounce of strength launches himself to the bottom rope!!!!! Angle cant believe it. Angle drags Bryan to his feet and goes for an Angle Slam. Bryan floats over, ducks a lariat by Angle and comes off the ropes, ducks another lariat by Angle, and nails Angle with a running knee right to the head!!!!!! Both men lay on the mat completely out of breath. That last knee has also busted Angle open as blood pours from Angle’s face now. The ref counts to 9 before both men get to there feet. Bryan nails a right. Angle follows. Bryan with another. Angle throws a haymaker but Bryan dodges and uses the momentum to take Angle down with an armbar and transition into the Labell Lock!!!! Bryan has it cinched it!

Blood pours down the face of Angle as Bryan cranks back on the neck. Angle will not tap out. Bryan has had it locked in for 45 seconds. Eventually Angle passes out. The ref raises the arm of Angle. Hes out. The ref calls for the bell.

WINNER VIA REFEREE STOPPAGE: DANIEL BRYAN (43:53)

The ref breaks the hold as Bryan collapses in exhaustion. Referees and medical staff come out to attend to Angle. Byran eventually drags himself to his feet and gets his arm raised. Then BAM!

CENA CLOCKS BRYAN FROM BEHIND WITH THE MEDICALLY APPROVED DOCTORS LOADED GLOVE. Bryan collapses in a heap as Cena shoves the referee out of the ring. Cena mounts Bryan and starts laying in more shits with the glove to the open wound of Bryan. Blood is now POURING from the face of Bryan as Cena continues the assault. Referees and some of the babyfaces like TMDK and Roderick Strong make the save as Cena exits the ring with a huge ass smirk on his face. Bryan is a bloody mess, so is Angle. Cena stands tall at the top of the isle and raises his UWF Heavyweight Title as the show goes off the air.
