Beyond #10

Beyond’s style focuses on the different fighting styles that are employed by its’ wrestlers (brawling, hybrid, technical, strong style, and lucha libre) with a heavy emphasis on the competition and the combatants fighting spirit .... In Beyond, it is a variety of wrestling  with a little mix of Attitude era-WWF ....

Huge pyro explodes from the stage and 10,000 strong are on their feet in the Beyond ‘Asylum’ in SoCal .... Mauro Renallo and Corey Graves join us ringside and it’s time to go ‘BEYOND’!!!! ...




We get the opening pyro as MAURO RENALLO and COREY GRAVES hype tonight’s show ....


We go straight to the ring as the Beyond tag team title tournament continues with an anticipated match ....



This match is killer for about 10 minutes .... textbook tag team formula .... it breaks down late as all 4 men are in the ring and start brawling and the brawl spills to the outside .... the fight continues and the ref lets it go, but the battle heads up the ramp and through the curtain .... the ref has no choice but to put the count on and neither team can make it back to the ring before the count of 10 ....

POST MATCH: Cameras follow the brawl as it continues through the backstage area .... refs try to break it up but they are dispatched, then we get the cops involved .... However, in the melee Scott Steiner accidentally strikes a police officer and more cops come in and end up arresting all 4 guys!  It’s total chaos!!!!


BACKSTAGE SEGMENT w/ CHARLY CARUSO

Charly catches up to Shane as the police are taking the Revival and Steiners away .... Shane is pissed that they ruined the tournament .... he says he has no choice, so now the winner of the other semi-final match will be the new Beyond tag team champions ....


Up next, Kurt Angle comes out to the ring and addresses the Russians .... Nikita attacked him with the Russian chain last week, and now he has challenged him to his specialty, a ‘Russian Chain Match’ .... Angle accepts the match .... Angle then brings up the appearance of Shelton Benjamin last week .... Just because Shelton shows his face here and helps him, he thinks all is forgiven?  He doesn’t trust him ....

Charlie Haas comes out!  Haas says he and Shelton have been through some stuff too, but it was Haas’ idea for Shelton to reach out to Angle .... Shelton comes out now, and says that he doesn’t regret anything because he did what he had to do in order to get to the next level .... he did what Angle would have done .... but he DOES regret losing their friendship .... Benjamin says he’s not looking for forgiveness, but he hopes Angle can understand and he wants to make it right .... Benjamin says he will have Angle’s back next week when he faces Nikita in the Russian Chain Match .... Benjamin extends his hand, but Angle says he doesn’t need Haas to play peacemaker, and he doesn’t need Shelton to watch his back .... Angle walks off ....


BACKSTAGE SEGMENT w/ JENN DECKER

Johnny Gargano & Candice LeRae are interviewed backstage .... Johnny says they’ve gone from undesirable to undeniable .... a week ago they weren’t even part of the Beyond roster and now tonight they have a chance to become tag team champions and make history in the IWA just like they did in the UWF .... Candice says tonight may be their only shot, but they are going to make the most of it ....  


Lance Storm is out again, playing up the ‘beat pure wrestler’ gimmick .... IF I CAN BE SERIOUS FOR A MINUTE .... He names off the people he has beaten under Pure Rules and asks can anyone challenge him?  He is the best technical Wrestler in Beyond and he wants someone to come out and prove him wrong .... Jay Lethal makes his debut and accepts the challenge ...



Lots of back and forth here, as Lethal gives Storm the toughest test yet under the Pure rules stipulation .... Lethal forces Storm to use his rope breaks and both men are out as we hit the 10 minute mark .... Storm gets Lethal in the Canadian Maple Leaf but Lethal uses his last rope break to get out .... Storm counters Lethal Injection with a superkick to the back of the head, then hits the Deep Impact (cradle piledriver) but Lethal kicks out!  Lethal comes back and hits Hail to the King but Storm kicks out .... Lethal then hits the Lethal Injection but the time limit expires as he is trying to make the cover and the match is ruled a draw ....


BACKSTAGE SEGMENT w/ CHARLY CARUSO

The Rock is pacing back and forth .... He faces Diesel tonight .... Rock says everyone wants to target the Rock, everyone wants the Great One to make their monkey ass famous .... first it was Randy Orton, and now Randy Orton is gone bye bye .... now it’s Shawn Michaels and his 7ft life partner Big Daddy Cool Diesel .... well, the Rock says it’s a good thing for you that Gay Marriage is legal in the state of California!  Tonight the Rock has a little target of his own and that target is right in between Diesels right and left butt cheek .... so tonight Big Daddy Cool, the Rock is gonna take his little target, turn that sum bitch sideways and stick it straight up your candy ass!  If ya smell ... what the Rock ... is COOKIN!




The Bulldogs came up short against the A-List last week, but they get back on the right track in a very entertaining tag team match against Imperium .... Kidd’s speed is a perfect combo with Davey Jr’s power and the Bulldogs show they are going to be a force to be reckoned with .... The Bulldogs show off their new finisher, which is a mushroom stomp aided powerbomb ....



IN-RING SEGMENT:

Charly Caruso interviews the newest signee to Beyond, Drew McIntyre .... McIntyre says he signed with this company with the intent of making an immediate impact, and he has his sights set on the Beyond title .... He is interrupted by Finn Balor, the man that will face Chris Jericho for the ELITE title right here next week .... Balor says it is his time and he is going to be the new champion next week, and McIntyre can just get in line .... McIntyre says good luck, because then it will be Finn that McIntyre beats for the title ....

This brings out ELITE champion Chris Jericho.  Jericho calls them both stupid idiots because they are out here talking like it’s a forgone conclusion that Balor wins next week .... Jericho is Le Champion and he calls himself the Maltese Falcon of pro wrestling, and he’s a national treasure .... He is not going to lose because he is the best thing going in this business .... you’re welcome ....

Rock wastes no time in attacking with right hands, but Diesel stops all that with a clothesline .... Diesel with knees and forearms in the corner and hits Snake Eyes .... Diesel shoots him off but eats a swinging neckbreaker .... They brawl to the apron and Diesel hits a sick looking side slam on the ring frame!  Diesel gets 2 and then wears the Rock down with a bear hug as HBK looks on approvingly .... Rock battles back, breaking the move and hitting more right hands .... he gets the big guy up for a Samoan drop!  HBK to the apron but gets knocked off with a right hand!  Rock turns around right into a big boot from Diesel!  Diesel sets Rock up for the jackknife, but Rock battles out with right hand .... Diesel drops him and Rock hits the spinebuster!  Off comes the elbow pad!  Rock hits the ropes for the people’s elbow, but HBK pulls the top rope down and Rock tumbles to the floor!  As soon as the Rock hits the floor, HBK is putting the boots to him and the ref immediately calls for the DQ ....

POST MATCH: Rock fires back with right hands and sends HBK over the railing into the crowd!  Rock sets up the announce table and then retrieves HBK and he’s going to put him through the table with the Rock Bottom!  Diesel is back up and breaks up the move before Rock can do it!  HBK and Diesel double team Rock .... POWERBOMB TO ROCK THROUGH THE ANNOUNCE TABLE!!!!  The ref keeps trying to call them off, so Michaels lays him out with Sweet Chin Music!  Shawn takes the referees belt off, and Diesel holds Rock as HBK whips him across the back with the belt!!!!  Michaels lashes Rock until his back is bleeding, and he and Diesel leave the Rock broken and bleeding ....


BACKSTAGE SEGMENT w/ JENN DECKER

Jenn is with the UWF World Champion CM Punk ... she asks him about his recent issues with Matt Riddle as well as Hulk Hogan attacking him here last week .... Heyman takes the mic from her and conducts the rest of the interview ....

Punk says Hogan showed up here last week so at least he’s not gutless, but he’s still a coward .... Hogan has to attack Punk from behind because Punk is the ‘Best in the World’ .... Make no mistake, if Punk is gonna take him out it’s gonna be face to face and the fact that Hogan had to beat him with a steel chair just proves that Hogan is running scared because CM Punk is the real champion .... So Hogan has his handlers accept his challenge on Twitter, well that’s fine because that means it’s official now .... In 2 weeks they will face each other in match 1 of their Best of 3 challenge .... Punk says the match is on his terms and in his house, so it will be right here in Beyond .... And hopefully this time Hogan won’t come out of the crowd and jump him from behind ....



Miz and Gargano renew their rivalry from Progress as they begin with some back and forth ring work .... Morrison comes in and wants Candice tagged in but Johnny matches up with Morrison instead .... Miz and Morrison are both in and double team Johnny but Candice hits a diving hurricanrana on Miz .... Morrison and Miz are dispatched, and Johnny holds the ropes open as Candice hits a heat seeking missile suicide dive .... tornado DDT on Miz by Candice gets a 2 count!  Morrison stops it with a superkick and now Candice is in trouble as A-List cut off the ring .... Candice is beat down, but she hits a balls-plex on Morrison for a double down .... hot tag to Johnny and he runs wild!  Tilt a whirl into the Gargano Escape on Miz!  Morrison breaks it up!  Johnny takes Miz and Morrison out with superkicks, then hits ONE FINAL BEAT on Miz!  Maryse pulls the ref out before the 3!  Maryse dares Johnny to hit her but he won’t, so instead Candice takes her out with a spear!!!!  Morrison goes for a superkick on Candice, but Johnny throws himself in the way and takes the bullet for Candice!  Candice is on her own!  Low blow to Morrison!  Unprettier!  1 ... 2 ... Miz breaks it up!  Candice with a tilt a whirl into a DDT on Miz, then she goes for the Unprettier but Miz reverses it into the Skull Krushing Finale!  Johnny tries to make the save but Taya grabs his leg ... 1 ... 2 ... 3!  

The A-List have won the Beyond tag team titles!!!!  The Cinderella run of Johnny & Candice is over, and the new champs celebrate with their entourage ....
