Gene Okerlund: "OHHHH MY..... Hello wrestling fans, and welcome to the debut edition of World Class Main Event! We have read your emails and letters and by popular demand the higher ups here in World Class have granted you with a second show. And on this show, the World Class TV champion will be in action every week! And our Main Event tonight will see the champion, Brian Cage, defend his title against Davey Boy Smith! But to start things off we wanted something big for our debut edition. And speaking of debuts...... lets get you yo the ring!"
The cameras pan to the ring where we see The Russian team of Nicolai Volkoff and Boris Zuchov! They are infuriating the kive audience by waving the Russian flag around. Then we hear the music of their opponents......
Its Demolition! The live crowd pops huge as Ax and Smash make their way into the ring.
Tag Team Match: Demolition vs Boris Zuchov & Nicolai Volkoff
The Bolsheviks attack, but Demolition fights the attack off, and end up pounding Volkoff into jelly. Ax and Smash take turns working the arm of Volkoff. Ax takes him over with a snapmare, then goes back to the armbar. Zhukov gets the tag in and gets some offense in on Smash. Ax tags in, plants Zhukov with a slam, and wipes him out with a clothesline. Smash tags in, gets some shots in and Zhukov, and tosses him to the floor. Ax tags back in, and slaps on a chinlock. Smash tags in, takes him over with a snapmare, then back to the armbar. Zhukov escapes with a rake of the eyes, but Ax comes in for another chinlock spot. Smash back in, and he meets the boot on a charge attempt. Volkoff tags in, and they double team Smash. Ax comes in to even the odds, and the Russians get whipped into each other. The Bolsheviks get the upper hand for a few seconds, but Demolition recover and Zhukov is put away with the Decapitation elbow drop!
Gene Okerlund: "Are you KIDDING me? What a debut for the team of Demolition here in World Class. That should certainly catch the eye of one Bobby Heenan and his tag team champions, Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard!
Speaking of tag teams..... come in in here..... Bobby Eaton and Stan Lane! But conspicuous in his absence is your manager Jim Cornette! A man we havent seen since Parade of Champions, when Lance Archer defeated Cornettes hired hitman, Tomasso Ciampa! Stan Lane.... care to fill us in here?"
Stan Lane: "Its quite simple Okerlund..... Jim Cornette is far from being finished with Lance Archer! And hes out touring the country going from territory to territory looking for the man to end Lance Archer once and for all. But while Jimmy is gone..... I'm going to give him a huge surprise."
Gene Okerlund: "A surprise? Cmon now Stan.....your gonna have to give us more than that!"
Stan Lane: "The surprise is this.... when Jim returns, he will be managing the World Class Heavyweight champion.....because I challenge Lance Archer to a match right here next week! But not just any old match..... this one will be a handicap match..... as me and Bobby Eaton will face Lance Archer for the World Class title!"
Bobby Eaton: "WAIT...... WHAT?? Us against Archer?? What the Hell Stan?"
Gene Okerlund: "Ohhhhh my......fans you heard it here first.....next week Lance Archer defends his World Class title against The Midnight Express in a handicap match! Fans, we have to take a break.....dont you dare go away!"

And as you can see here, the language barrier is already present, but Gentlemen nonetheless, we wish you both all the luck in the......"
Okerlund is interrupted by the appearance of........
Cameron Grimes!
Cameron Grimes: "Hold the phone Geno and start speaking for yourself! Wish them luck? The only thing I wish is that the border patrol would show up and take them both back to where they came from! I mean it's obvious neither one of em are supposed to be here...... why else would they be hiding their faces! Now if you want a man to represent World Class in the IWA junior division, look no further than Cameron Grimes! Cause I can take it to the moon baby!"
Gene Okerlund: "Correct me if I'm wrong..... but didnt you lose in the first round of that tournament to Jushin Liger? But since you are out here, I would like to know the association you have with Michael Hayes and Terry Gordy...... The Freebirds?"

Good stuff ... I like the continued push of Cage. I hope he defends the TV title on every main event show'
Interesting stuff with the Midnight Express
Logan was the weak link of that team anyway lol
You've done well with Owen and Bulldog since getting them. I like the emphasis on Owen
OK, here's the thing ... lol ...
With concerning Hogan. Unless the world champ is a member of your promotion, I hate the world champion just randomly showing up for a run-in. Like he's just hanging out backstage at an event in another promotion but not announced or featured on a show. Thats just a pet peeve of mine. Now, if the World champ is announced and shows up on the show and is treated like a big deal, then he does the run in it makes more sense to me. Or like if he was jumped by a guy on a previous show and he makes a surprise appearance to get payback, etc. ... Not just on hand unannounced to make the save for a guy ... Thats just me ... I've seen it done a lot by a lot of people over the years ... not trying to be negative, just my 2 cents ...
With that being said, I have loved the interactions and the relationship building between Hogan and Cage. Other than Archer, I think Cage is the guy that you have done the best with in his push. Plus im a mark for the guy in real life.
good show
