MICHAEL COLE /CHRIS CRUISE welcome everyone to the show!
COLE says that VINCE McMAHON will have a big announcement tonight concerning WWF programming!
Also that WWF TV Champ-OLE ANDERSON will be interviwed!
The WWF POC show will be revealed and the brackets to crown the first WWF Heavyweight Champion will be unveiled!
1st Match- the PDWT w/JIMMY HART vs RENO RIGGINS/MASKED BADSTREET
Just basically a showcase for the PDWT as they make this seem like a sparring session for them!
After several minutes of a beatdown on both guys,YOKO hits the big BONZAI SLASP on BADSTREET and gets an easy pin!
2nd Match- TAZZ vs JOHNNY"DAD BODY" ROSE
Another match where TAZZ,the originator of the REAL Suplex City, shows off his vast skills as he basically spends several minutes just suplexing the hell outta ROSE in as many variations as he can !
Finally after a whip into the ropes and delivering a belly to belly suplex,TAZZ mercifully ends it!
As his hand is raised by the ref,BUZZ SAWYER and KEVIN SULLIVAN rush the ring and blindside TAZZ and administer
a beat down until security and some WWF road agents put a stop to it!
WWF TV Champ-OLE ANDERSON then comes out for an in ring intv with CHRIS CRUISE!
CRUISE congratulates the new champ but questions him on STAN HANSEN showing up unexpectantly and helping OLE win the belt!
OLE gets angry at the question and reiterates his statement that he has no affiliation with HANSEN and in fact doesn't even know him personally!
At this point, CHRISTIAN comes down the aisle and enters the ring!
CHRISTIAN gets in OLE'S face,badmouths him for a few, and challenges OLE to defent his title right now!
OLE hesitates for a moment but the accepts!
3rd Match- WWF TV TITLE MATCH -15 MINUTE TIME LIMIT
OLE ANDERSON(C) vs CHRISTIAN
CHRISTIAN starts off hot and takes control for several minutes which causes OLE to leave the ring to gather his thoughts!
CHRISTIAN follows him out of the ring and that's a mistake!
OLE catches CHRISTIAN with a blow to the mid section and then throws him shoulder first into the ringpost!
OLE tosses him back in and you know what happens next!
Working on that arm for several minutes with stomps and a few body slams with CHRISTIAN'S arm behind his back,all lead up to OLE cranking that injured arm until CHRISTIAN has to submit!
OLE successfully defends his title and CHRISTIAN continues his losing ways here in the WWF!
TAZZ comes out and tells COLE that he challenges BUZZ SAWYER and KEVIN SULLIVAN to a tag team match for next week!
He says he just got off the phone with a very good friend of his who will be here next week!
4th Match-SID VICIOUS vs METHSIAH!
Yet another in a line of squashes tonight as SID destroys this well know street fighter and mercifully ends it with a power bomb and pin!
BUZZN SAWYER and KEVIN SULLIVAN then come out and tell MICHAEL COLE that they accept the callenge thrown out by TAZZ!
Their demeanor and maniacal laughing outbursts seem to indicate that they aren't worried at all about this!
Via videotape and shown on the TitanTron,WWF owner VINCE McMAHON tells everyone that due to the WWF'S overwhelming popularity and growing roster of talent ,that in two weeks WWF will debut a new hourly program in syndication throughout the WWF viewing area called WWF SUPERSTARS!
This program will showcase some of the WWF roster that you don't usually get to see,or vary rarely get to see,on RAW!
All matches will be new and SUPERSTARS will even have titles exclusive to this program !
VINCE also announces that in SEPTEMBER, RAW will be moving to 2 hours long and be broadcast LIVE!
JESSE VENTURA is in the ring and runnin that mouth and calls out anyone from the locker room to come out and face him!
The crowd pops as HACKSAW JIM DUGGAN comes down the aisle!
5th Match- JESSE THE BODY VENTURA vs HACKSAW JIM DUGGAN!
A very competitive match that unfortunately ends up as a double count out as these two took the battle to the arena floor and thats wher it stayed!
MICHAEL COLE then announces that the WWF PARADE OF CHAMPIONS SPECTACULAR takes place THIS Monday and is FREE on the USA NETWORK!
It will be a three hour show and will be a one night tournament to crown the FIRST WWF Heavyweigh Champion!
This tournament will be divided into two seperate brackets with the winners of each bracket meeting to determine the champion!
There are different time limits for each round!
They are as follows:
1st Round:20 minutes
2nd Round: 30 minutes
3rd Round: 45 minutes
Finals: 1 Hour!
