New social media correspondent 'Miss Supercross' Dianna Dahlgren comes down the ring as things get started and she interacts with the fans around ringside ....


Dianna says social media is blowing up about tonight's show, as 8 of the top independent women talent will do battle for a Battle Queens contract in this years 'CHICKFIGHT TOURNAMENT' .... She encourages the fans to send out their live tweets during the show ....




Show starts with the Battle Queens tag team champions The Beautiful People making their way out .... They have both the BQ tag belts and the old WOW tag belts as well .... They make sure and talk about their tag team supremacy when they are cut off by Valkyrie ....

What follows is a tag team summit that also includes the Canadian Ninjas, Weapons of Mass Seduction, and the Bella Twins .... Nicole Matthews still has her arm in a sling from the Bash All Stars show .... Everyone wants a shot at the tag titles, and Valkyrie say they want their rematch .... The Ninjas want a shot too, but Matthews isn't cleared to compete .... So what we get is a tag team 3 way dance with the winning team going on to face the Ninjas once Matthews is cleared to wrestle ....


CHICKFIGHT ROUND 1: Nikki Storm ~ vs ~ Kaitlyn

Kaitlyn is a powerhouse that has competed in Battle Queens before, and Storm is a Scottish pro that has wrestled all over the world in independent promotions .... In this match, Storm is able to counter Kaitlyns power advantage and she scores with the 'perfect storm' (Samoan driver) to get the pin and move on ....


CHICKFIGHT ROUND 1: Kay Lee Ray ~ vs ~Marti Belle

Another Scottish pro wrestler, Kay Lee Ray is making her first appearance in Battle Queens, while Belle has been seen here before .... Ray is the fans choice and she has some exciting moves .... She gets the win on Marti after hitting a Gory Bomb followed by a Swanton bomb from the top ....


CHICKFIGHT ROUND 1: Madison Eagles ~ vs ~ Jayme Jameson

Eagles is widely regarded as the best independent female talent out there .... She has signed to several promotions but has failed to catch on full time .... Jameson, known as the 'Beautiful Beast' is a former fitness model .... Eagles' superior wrestling gives her the advantage and she pins Jameson following the 'Hellbound' (Death Valley driver onto the knee) .... Eagles moves on ....


CHICKFIGHT ROUND 1: Hikaru Shida ~ vs ~ Tomoka Nakagawa

In the final first round match, we have 2 Japanese stars going at it .... Shida and Nakagawa are no strangers, as they have both wrestled for the Oz Academy in Japan but this is their first trip to the states .... Shida carries a kendo stick to the ring due to her extensive background as a member of a kendo club .... These 2 put on a great match, but it is Shida that gets the win following a Falcon Arrow ....


INTERMISSION:

Several members of the Battle Queens roster come out and sign autographs and take photos with fans at ringside .... One lucky fan is chosen to receive backstage passes to meet the stars ....

~ Newest Battle Queens signee and UFC star Paige VanZant is shown seated in the front row watching tonight's event .... Seated in the crowd with her are fellow MMA star Shayna Baszler and MMA legend Gina Carano ....
 

CHICKFIGHT SEMI-FINALS: Madison Eagles ~ vs ~ Kay Lee Ray

A very exciting match where Ray really puts on a show .... Ray hits the Gory Bomb, but Eagles kicks out .... Eagles comes back and hits the small package driver for a close 2 count on Ray but she escapes .... Ray goes up top for the Swanton bomb, but Eagles meets her there and stops her .... Eagles manages to hit a 2nd rope brainbuster that is enough to put Ray away for the 3 count ....


CHICKFIGHT SEMI-FINALS: Hikaru Shida ~ vs ~ Nikki Storm

Shida has wrestled one match for Battle Queens and she is the fans are already in love with her .... Nikki Storm is right on the level with her and these two battle back and forth for nearly 11 minutes .... Storm kicks out of the Falcon arrow and goes for the perfect storm but Shida is out and connects with the Kinshasa knee that she calls the '3 count' .... That's enough to get the win and now the finals are set ....


TAG TEAM 3 WAY DANCE (winner faces the Canadian Ninjas): Team Bella (Nikki & Brie) ~ vs ~ Weapons of Mass Seduction (Eva Marie & Peyton Royce) ~ vs ~ Valkyrie (Mia Yim & Gail Kim)

The Canadian Ninjas are seated on the ramp and they've got popcorn ready to enjoy the match .... The winner of this match faces the Ninjas, and then that winner will get a shot at the BQ tag titles .... The action goes back and forth and Eva nearly steals the win after the sliced red on Mia Yim, but Brie Bella breaks it up .... Gail Kim comes back and hits the Eat Defeat on Brie, but Nikki nearly takes her head off with the huge forearm smash!  Eva tries to roll Nikki up from behind but she barely kicks out!  Eva goes for the sliced red on Nikki, but Nikki blocks it in mid-move and turns it into the rack attack for the 3 count!

The Bellas stare down the Ninjas and both teams point at each other ....  


CHICKFIGHT FINALS: Hikaru Shida ~ vs ~ Madison Eagles

These two put on a 15 minute epic encounter as they battle for the Battle Queens roster spot .... Both ladies survive the best that the other has to offer .... Eagles wears Shida down late and manages to lock her in the STF but the wills Shida on .... Shida makes the ropes and then scores with a step-up enziguri .... Shida goes on a run and tries to finish Eagles with the 3 count but she ducks it .... Shida comes back with a running knee to the back of the head!  Eagles comes back with a yakuza kick!  Brainbuster by Eagles!  Shida kicks out!  Eagles goes for the Hellbound but Shida flips out and lands on her feet .... Leaping knee catches Eagles right under the chin!  Falcon Arrow!  1 ... 2 ... Nooooo!  Eagles kicks out!  Shida lets out a scream and comes off the ropes .... 3 COUNT (knee trembler)!!!!  1 ... 2 ... 3!!!!



Hikaru Shida is the 2016 Chickfight top prospect!!!!  Both ladies are exhausted and the fans give them a standing ovation ....





Vickie Guerrero comes out and congratulates both women, then awards the trophy to Hikaru Shida .... The fans are chanting 'SHIDA!  SHIDA!'  Shida and Eagles shake hands, and because of her performance Vickie also awards Eagles with a Battle Queens contract!  The show ends with Shida continuing her celebration ....
