HLW RISING STARS 3

Striker: Hello. Im Matt Striker and WELCOME to HLW Rising Stars.

(Short video plays with showing the faces and a couple of clips from Indy scene of the contestants to the show. Playing to the sound of The Next Movement by The Roots.)

Striker: We're here with another exciting episode spotlighting the future of the industry. We started with 8 men and 4 women. As I said in our first episoide there was always a chance that someone due to the exposure they recived here may get a contract on another show. Well one did. Justin Gabriel has signed with SSW and thus he is no longer here on Rising Stars. We congratulate Justin and wish him all the best, In our Main event we will one of our young stars face off against HLW's own "Superstar" Dolph Ziggler. Now on to our first match.


Rey Bucanero
Mexico

Big E. Langston
Brooklyn, NY


(Rey tries some quick kicks and chops which seem to do nothing more than annoy Langston. Langston gets ahold of Rey and hits Unbelievable (Crackerjack). Big then Gorilla slams Bucanero to the mat. Big goes for legdrop but Rey moves out the way. He hits a hard low kick to the back and chest of Langston. Rey then hits a two footed dropkick to the side of Langston's head. He covers but gets 2. Bucanero goes up top and hits a twisting leg lariot knocking Big E down again. He hits a standing moonsault for the cover 1.. 2.. No! Langston kicks out Rey chops the chest of Langston but there is no effect. He goes for a low kick but is caught and Langston hits a T-Bone Suplex. Rey is dazed and Big E finishes him with Notorious (Jackhammer). 1.. 2.. 3.)

Winner: Big E. Langston

Striker: Big E. Come on over. You just got your first victory here on Rising Stars. How does that feel?

Langston: Well to be honest I should have won last week but the referee disqualified me. But thats okay y see? I showed everyone here if you cross me in that ring and take a cheap shot I'm gonna take you out. I'm here to show the world who I am. It's all good baby bay-bay!

(As we come back from break the camera shows Matt Cross sitting in the crowd.)



Striker: Welcome back and I have with me The Kamikaze Kid. Now kid you have been selected tonight to face HLW Superstar Dolph Ziggler. Your thoughts.

KK: Well Matt this is a huge oppurtunity for me Whoooo! I'm coming straight forward cause thats the only way the Kid knows how.

Striker: Okay Kid you sound ready. Good luck later tonight.


Naruki Doi & Sammi Lane

Tito Nieves & Michiko Omukai

(Mixed tag action here the men start it off With doi hitting a quick scoop slam and knee drop on Nieves. Naruki goes for a clothesline but Tito turns it into a backslide for 2. Both men tag in the women now. Lane hits a low kick and whips Michiko to the corner and floows her in. But Ohmukai does a float over and hits a german Suplex with a bridge for 2. She goes for a dropkick but Lane evades it and now locks on a headscissors. Ohmukai is able to do a headstand to escape she goes for a low kick but misses and Lane quickly tags back in Doi. By rule Nieves enters. He hits an arm drag on Naruki then he locks on a headlock but Doi powers into a Saito Suplex. Doi sends Nieves into the buckle he charges but runs into a boot. Tito with the Flying necktie. he covers 1.. 2.. No Lane breaks it up. That brings in Michiko. She lays in some big forearms and lane is firing back. Ohmukai hits a reverse neckbreaker. Meanwhile Doi hits a Hanging Suplex on Tito. Then locks in a a leg lock on him. Meanwhile Sammi Lane just dropkicked Michiko out the ring. Tito makes the ropes Doi hits a Powerslam and then goes up top but Michiko grabs his leg before he can launch he looks down at her and yells. Tito is up he climbs up and hooks Doi and delivers a Super-plex. Both men are slowly up Doi goes for a mid kick but Nieves cathes it and hits The Boricqua Blast (Swinging leg hook fireman's carry slam). The ref counts 1.. 2.. 3!)


Winner: Tito Nieves and Michiko Omukai


Striker: Hard fought victory guys, congrats. Michiko how do you feel?

Omukai: I feel very good. I am happy to show the fans here in the UWF the skills of the far East. But also hat I can wrestle an American Style. So UWF I'm coming! Get ready!


COMMERCIAL BREAK



(Show returns with a video highlighting Scotty Mac. Scotty is a former student of Shawn Michaels and uses the Super-Kick to pay homage to his teacher. But he is not so much like HBK in attitude. He's brash and feels he's the only one there with the skills and the pedigree to be in the UWF. Soon everyone will know the name Scotty Mac!)


Dolph Ziggler

Kamikaze Kid

(The bell rings and the Kid charges at Dolph who quickly hops out the ring but KK jumps out after him. Dolph rolls back in and here comes the Kid but as he rolls in he is caught by a sledgehammer blow for Dolph. Ziggler is pounding away on the Kid. He hits a text book verticle Suplex then Gets up and mugs for the crowd. Ziggler sends him in the ropes and hits a elbow butt to the face. Dolph is smiling away. he goes for a leg drop but KK isn't there! KK is coming at Dolph. Dropkick, followed by a flying shoulder tackle. Dolph is off balance and Kid hits a Thesz Press for a 2 count.  KK hits a Tornado DDT he covers 1.. 2.. NO! KK jumps up climbs the ropes and hits a Flying Cross Body. 1.. 2..


NO! Dolph kicks out KK is going back up leaps once more but is caught by a spectacular Dropkick. Dolph hits his jumping elbow drop. He makes the cover 1.. 2..




NO!!! Kid is still fighting. Ziggler tosses him outside and follows him out. He goes for a suplex but KK reverses it. Kid goes to ram Dolph's head onto the ring apron but he blocks it and rams KK's head instead. Dolph rolls in and the ref is admonishing him. KK is about to get in the ring when over the railing comes Scotty Mac. Scotty turns Kid around and hits his Super-Kick. Then jumps back over the railing.

Dolph had the ref tied during this. Now Ziggler jumps out again and drags the lifeless body of Kamikaze Kid up and rolls him in the ring. Dolph hits The Paparazzi Plunge (Leaping reverse STO). It's an easy 3 count.

Winner: Dolph Ziggler

Striker: Kamikaze Kid definately turned some heads but still comes up short. But what was Scotty Mac's reason for interjecting himself? Questions that will need to be answered next time on Rising Stars. Until then Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall. Good night folks!

(Before show ends camera switches backstage where we see Tito Nieves ptting his bag in the trunk of his car. When up walks an older gentlemen.)



Man: Good evening Mr. Nieves. Congratulations on your match tonight. My employer was impressed with your skill and would like to speak with you.

Nieves: Who is your employer?

Man: I cannot say but here is a phone number. Please give him a call. What do you have to lose?

(The man walks off with Nieves staring at the business card given him as the show ends.)
