| NEXTGENRISING STARS WOMENS TAG TEAM TOURNAMENTNight 1   Matthews: Hello everyone and welcome to Night 2 of the NextGen Rising Stars Womens Tag Team Tournament. I'm your host Josh Matthews alongside Ivory. Ivory we saw some amazing action on our first night. Can we top it tonight?.
Ivory: I think we will! Some amazing teams are lined up on this side of the bracket.
Matthews: I have to agree Well let's get this started then.
IRISH CAR BOMBS (Debbie Keitel & Lady Valkyrie)
 
(Debbie Keitel is from Ireland. She has wrestled for promotions such as Pro Wrestling EVE, Phoenix Wrestling, RevPro & is the current Fierce Females Internet Champion. Only 2 years in the business. Classic Heel style. She uses a Sitout Facebuster as her finisher.
Lady Valkyrie or sometimes just Valkyrie was born in Dublin, Ireland. She began wrestling at the age of 17. She's still just 22 years old and has already performed all over Europe in places like Fierce Females, wXw, Over The Top Wrestling & Pro Wrestling EVE. She is also the current PWU Womens Champion. Her finisher is The Guillotine (Diving Legdrop to an opponent hung on the ropes). She and Keitel formed a team recently. They call themselves The Woke Queens but honestly I hated the name.)

THE AMAZONS (Ayesha Raymond & Kavita Devi)
 
(Ayesha Raymond is from London, England. She stands 6' tall. She has wrestled in ROH, Ice Ribbon & SEAdLINNNG. She is the current GWF Womens Champion where she wrestles as Amazon. She wrestled in the 2017 Mae Young Classic losing to Toni Storm. She utilizes her superior size & strength in the ring. Using many power moves. Her finisher is a Sitout Powerbomb.
Kavita Devi was born in Haryana, India. She is 5' 9" and was trained by the Great Khali. She competed in the Mae Young Classic and is currently on NXT. She also uses a power set of moves. Her finisher is a Spin Kick.)
(Neither team wants anything to do with pre-match handshakes. The crowd naturally favors the smaller team at the start. But soon learn these are not "Nice girls". They get Devi in the corner and are ferociously choking and kicking her. Valkyrie goes for a corner splash but Devi gets her boot up. Then she headbutts Keitel sending her to the floor. She grabs Valkyrie and Press Slams her over the top rope onto her partner. She tags in Ayesha then goes out and rolls Valkyrie back into the ring.
Raymond gives Valkyrie a Powerslam for a two count. As Devi is walking back to her corner she is hit from behind by Debbie Keitel and she hits her head on the ring post. Now Debbie enters the ring and they both attack Ayesha. Keitel gives her the Sitout Facebuster and covers but the ref says she's not the legal one. So she gets up and Valkyrie covers. 1.. 2.. No. Valkyrie continues her assault. Tagging in Debbie so she can get in some licks as well. Kavita is up now. Holding her head as she gets in the corner. Valkyrie tries for a Cross Body but Raymond catches her and gives her a Tree Slam. Both women are trying to make a tag. They both do at the same time. Debbie charges right into the Spin Kick. Ayesha gets back in and they give Keitel a Double Sitout Powerbomb. Kavita covers as Raymond snarls at Valkyrie who thinks better about coming in the ring. 1.. 2.. 3!

Matthews: Ivory what a great match that was.
Ivory: I told yo we have some really tough teams. But is anyone as tough as The Amazons?
Matthews: I know there's no one bigger. Let's see who they will face in the 2nd round.
THE APPLE BOTTOM BABES (Tanea Brooks & Brandi Lauren)
 
(Tanea Brooks was born in Owasso, OK. She is best known for her time in TNA wrestling under the name Rebel. She has also wrestled in Ohio Valley Wrestling where she is a former Womens Champion, and just recently appeared on an episode of NXT. She is 5' 10" She's a former Dallas Cowboy cheerleader and played in the Lingerie Football League. While not a great worker she does use her natural athletic ability in the ring. Her finisher is Southern Charm (Split-legged diving leg drop).
Brandi Lauren is from Buffalo, NY. She has worked in various promotions, namely SHINE, Impact Wrestling, RISE & Full Throttle Pro Wrestling where she is the current Ladies Champion, and has appeared once on NXT. She is 5' 6" and has a striker and High Impact based offense. Her Finisher is a Double Underhook Crossface
***VERSUS***
VALENTINE BLACK (Makoto & Misao)
 
(Makoto was born in Kobe, Hyogo, Japan. She is 5' 5" tall. She has wrestled for Ice Ribbon, Smash, Reina Joshi & JWP Joshi Puroresu among others. She has captured numerous titles in almost every promotions she's been in. One of the biggest hidden gems in the sport. Very well rounded in the ring. She can High Fly, Strike or take you to suplex city. She uses a Moonsault as a Finisher.
Misao from Japan has pretty much only worked for DDT and Tokyo Joshi Pro. She is currently one half of the Tokyo Princess Tag Team Champions with Saki Akai. Also stands at 5' 5". Misao use to wrestle with a Superhero gimmick but recently developed a new heel character. Still learning. She does a lot of brawling. More of a Punch & Kick offense. Her finisher is Vanitas (Lifting Double Underhook Facebuster) as well as The Final Cut.)
(The team from Japan extend their hands before the match but then attack. They toss Brandi out the ring and begin to double team Tanea. Double Vertical Suplex. Then a Double Elbow drop. The ref gets Misao out of the ring finally and the bell starts. Makoto has Brooks down on the mat in a Kravat. She tags in Misao who kicks her right in the face. Misao then applies a Nerve Pinch to the trapezius muscle. Tanea is able to snap mare her over. A dropkick connects and she tags in Brandi Lauren who also nails a dropkick. She gives one to Makoto out on the apron too.
Lauren continues on offense whipping Misao into the buckle. She goes for a backdrop but gets kicked in the chest. In comes Makoto who executes a Double Underhook Suplex with a float over into a cover. 1.. 2.. No. They look to give Lauren a double Vertical but Tanea runs in and catches her. They give VB a double lariat. Tanea hits Southern Charm on Makoto but Misao breaks up the cover. Lauren rams Misao's head into the buckle. Brandi goes for a corner Cannonball but Misao slides under the ropes as Lauren crash and burns, Misao tosses her into the railing then runs in and the overpower Brooks and giver her Dead Roses (Rope Hung Reverse DDT (Misao)/ Moonsault (Makoto). They get the 3 count.
***WINNERS - VALENTINE BLACK***
Ivory: That was some finisher.
Matthews: The crowd's not happy but Valentine Black move on. But up next we take a quick break from the Tournament to bring 2 of NextGen's Male Roster.
Ivory: Who do have this time?
HIKULEO vs TREY MIGUEL
(Trey is of course 1/3 of the Rascalz. While HIKULEO is the adopted son of Haku. Younger than his brothers who make up The Guerrillas of Destiny. HIKULEO is a big man and Trey is using his agility and speed to completely frustrate him. He continues hit and run tactics and really is wearing down the Tongan. But he gets caught with a big kick to the face. HIKULEO takes over with big moves like the Tongan Swing (Swinging Neckbreaker) and a Choke Slam but Miguel continues to kick out. HIKULEO goes for a big legdrop and misses.
Basement dropkick to the mush from Trey. He goes for a Meteora but HIKULEO counters into a T-Bomb (Neck Hanging Bomb) 1.. 2.. 3@
***WINNER - HIKULEO***
Matthews: Ivory, NextGen has always had that international flavor. We see it here as the Tongan gets the victory.
Ivory: He is one big dude. I give Trey Miguel a ton of credit. He looked to be in control but one mistake later it was over.
Matthews: That wont be the last we see of them for sure. But lets get back to the ladies.
TRIPLE AYE (Aja Perera & Ariel Monroe) w/Ayla Fox
 
(Aja Perera was born in the country of Brazil. She was raised in Georgia. She stands 5' 5" and has really worked on her physique and conditioning in recent times. She wrestles all over the Indy scene. Places like Shimmer, Queens of Combat, Georgia Premier Wrestling, SHINE & Girl Fight where she is the current Champion. She is also a former SHINE Nova Champion. She wrestles a bit of a Smash Mouth Style. Her finisher is a Wheelbarrow Stunner.
Ariel Monroe is from Clearwater, FL. She's also 5' 5". Nicknamed 'Big Swole' Due to her muscular physique. Aerial made an appearance on the 2018 Mae Young Classic, losing in the 1st Round. Other than that she has wrestled for SHINE, Shimmer & RISE. She is married to wrestler Cedric Alexander. She utilizes a lot of strikes and power moves in the ring. Her finisher is a Blue Thunder Bomb.

BRITISH BOMBSHELLS (Holly Rocamora & Heidi Katrina)
 
(Holly was born in Cheam, Surrey, England, UK. Started wrestling in 2011. She wrestles in some small promotions such as UK Wrestling & British Bombshells. She has also appeared in Pro Wrestling EVE. She is 5' 6" and is very powerful. She uses the Doctor Bomb as her finisher.
Heidi is from Essex, England, UK. Standing an impressive 5' 10". She wrestles all over the World. You can see her for Pro Wrestling EVE, IWA Mid-South, DDT, Pro Wrestling WAVE but mostly in Sendai Girls Pro Wrestling. She is a former REINA-CMLL International Champion & a former Sendai Tag Team Champion with Cassandra Miyagi. She wrestles a Powerhouse style as she is usually much larger than her opponents. She uses a Spear as her finisher.)
(Both these teams are sporting a ton of power and are not shy about showing it off. Holly and Aerial go up in a test of strength. Both women look at some point they may have the advantage but it proves to be a stalemate. They both tag out now Aja wants to try. Heidi holds her hand up and Aja can't reach it. Heidi smirks. Then Perera stomps on Katrina's foot. she grabs her hands and has her on her knees as the crowd cheers. Heidi powers up and and scoop slams Aja who rolls out the ring as Ayla tries to massage her back.
Match continues in a more practical fashion. Both teams making tags and applying wear down holds. Holly caches Aja with a Release German Suplex. She signals for the Doctor Bomb but Ayla yells a warning to her and she gets under the ropes. Holly goes to grab her but Pereara hits a shoulder through the ropes then does a Sunset Flip for two. She tags in Monroe who hits a big clothesline. She signals for the Blue Thunder Bomb but as she sets her up Heidi hits a running boot to the face. Perera runs in and we have all 4 women brawling. Aerial Powerslams Holly for two. Heidi Spears Aja. She covers but Aerial breaks up the count. She is tied up with Katrina in the ropes and they both tumble to the outside. Inside the ring Holly is up and signals for the Doctor Bomb. (Which she calls the Roca-Bomb). She hits it. 1.. 2.. 3!)
***WINNERS - THE BRITISH BOMBSHELLS***
Matthews: The Brits get it done, Ivory.
Ivory: Barely. Triple Aye really gave them a fight.
Matthews: That they did but unfortunately they are out of the tournament. There are only 2 teams left to see in this 1st Round. You ready?
Ivory: You know I am!
THE ODD COUPLE (Karen Q & Session Moth Martina)
 
(Karen Q is a Chinese-American Wrestler born in Queens, NY. She competed in the 2018 Mae Young Classic losing in the 1st round to Xia Li. But she has done a lot more than that. Competing all around the indy scene in places such as SHINE, ROH, Womens Wrestling Revolution and now finds herself in NXT. She has held the ECWA Women's Championship & the Victory Pro Wrestling Women's Title. She uses a Martial Arts Striking repertoire along with some submission wrestling. Her finisher is Spring Roll (Boston Crab).
Session Moth Martina is from Dublin, Ireland. She stands at 5' 6". The meaning of Session Moth is basically an over the top Party Girl. Her gimmick often has her drinking before and sometimes during matches. I liken her to a sexier version of ODB. She has pretty much wrestled everywhere. Stardom, Pro Wrestling EVE, SHINE, Shimmer, Over The Top Wrestling where she is a 2X Womens Champ. She's a comedic wrestler. One that I find somewhat humorous in small doses. Her finisher is.... wait for it.... Mr. Durexo (Mandible claw with condom). I kid you not. When she's wrestling more serious she uses a Code Breaker.)

The iiCONICS (Peyton Royce & Billie Kay)
(Both women are from Sydney, Australia. Peyton is 5' 7" and Billie stands at 5' 8". They became a team in NXT and are now the WWE Womens Champions. But Prior to that Royce wrestled in Shimmer, Melbourne City Wrestling & SHINE as KC Cassidy. Billie used to wrestle under her real name Jessie McKay. She competed for Shimmer, SHINE & PWA Black Label where she held the PWWA Championship twice. Heir Tag Team Finisher is Sick Knee from Sydney (Running one-handed bulldog (Royce) dropped into kneeling knee (Kay). Yes I know these two are not unknowns but I thought this was a good way to introduce them to XWA fans.)
(The iiConics think there small run in the UWF makes them big stars and that they have no competition but This is a very unorthodox team. Karen Q is unleashing hell upon them with chops and kicks. Martina cracks open a cold one in the corner as she roots her partner on. Kay catches Q with a Reverse Neckbreaker. Now the pair from Sydney take over a bit. Trying to cut off the ring and work over Karen. But Karen hits a Jumping Back kick to Peyton. She does a roll to her corner to tag Martina who wasn't paying attention as she was buying a beer from a vendor. She realizes whats happening and tags. She comes in with the can of beer in her hand. Peyton had tagged in Billie, She goes up to Martina and yells that she can;t drink that in a match. Martina looks embarrassed then offers Billie the beer instead. Billie is surprised and says okay. She cracks the can and starts to chug and Martina School girls her from behind. 1.. 2..
NOOO!!!. The beer flew out the ring. Martina has Kay and suplexes here. She goes to the top rope but is dizzy and comes back down to the 1st rope and hits am elbow from there. Billie kicks out at 2. In comes Karen who hits a few hard chops to the chest of Billie. She stumbles back and tags in Peyton. Q goes to give her the leg feed jumping enzuguiri spot but Royce ducks it and then puts Karen in a Bow and Arrow hold. Martina breaks it up and soon its broken down. Martina gets another drink of beer and goes to spit in Billie's face but she ducks and it goes in the referees face. The iiConics toss Q over the top rope then give Martina the Sick Knee From Sydney. The ref has wiped the beer from his eyes and counts to 3. )

Matthews: The iiConics move on! Looks like Martina did too much partying tonight.
Ivory: Speaking of parties I once saw these iiConics on a party cruise one night. Who'd thought they be here now?
