CAPITAL OFFENSE 2018

1. Aja Kong w/Gedo vs Eve Torres

(This is a brutal beatdown with Aja really looking to inflict pin. She hits her with the Uraken, a Powerbomb and Powerslam but ends it after a Back elbow from the top rope.)

Winner: Aja Kong

2. Premier Athlete Brand w/Mandy Rose vs Paul London & Brian Kendrick - NextGen Tag Titles

(Fun fast paced match that the crowd got into. Kendrick catches Conley with Sliced Bread #2. He covers but Anthony Nese breaks up the cover. Later, after a Mandy distraction, Kendrick takes a bad bump to the floor and PAB hit London with Blue Chip (Nese Vertical Suplex/ Konley Springboard Dropkick.). They get the victory to retain.)

3. Jimmy Snuka & Richie Steamboat vs Gallows and Anderson

(Jimmy and Richie were the decidedly big underdogs in this one. And early on Bullet Club has Steamboat in a lot of trouble. You can see Snuka's frustration on the apron. He has to break up covers a few times. Richie is able to make a hot tag and Snuka takes over on both men. Gallows tries to hit Jimmy with a Bicycle Kick but Jimmy evades ans Anderson is caught instead. Then Snuka schoolboys Gallows with a handful of tights for the win.)

Winners: Jimmy Snuka & Richie Steamboat

4. The Uprising (Cesaro, Hero & Schultz) vs Sam Houston, Evan Karagias & Billy Kidman

(Total domination by the Uprising. hThey beat up all 3 men and then pin Karagias after thw Neutralizer.)

5. MsChif vs Melissa Anderson - Femme Fatale Championship

(This was a war from the opening bell. These two women put on a brutal show. Just reaching back and pounding the other as hard as they could. MsChif hits the Desecrator but Melissa kicked out to a huge pop. They continue to battle. Anderson hits Chif with the Air Raid Crash. Then locks in Kondo Clutch (Figure-four Cloverleaf). Chif is trying to get to the ropes. Just as she's there Anderson drags her back to the center. Chif is looking like she's done the fans are chanting "tap" But then the bell rings as the 30 Minute Time limit expires.)

DRAW: MsChif reatins the title

INTERMISSION:

During Intermission Paul Heyman comes with Kevin Steen & El Generico. He cuts a promo on how the RnR Empire are nothing but placeholders for these belts. Kevin Steen has known what it means to be a World Champion and is happy to bring Generico along for the ride. Generico seems a bit insulted by this remark but just nods his head anyway.

6. "Magnum" Adam Cole w/Lauren vs ???

(Cole never cared who his opponent would be. Imagine his surprise when it turned out to be Will Ospreay. Ospreay is fired up and really has Cole on the ropes for the opening minutes. But Adam catches him with with the Corona Kick. Coleateral connects and then Cole puts him away with the Florida Key.)

Winner: "Magnum" Adam Cole

7. Chris Candido vs Nick Jackson - Cruiserweight Championship

(Candido is his usual cocky self. But then after a brief altercation with OMEGA and Schultz, the referee ordered everyone to the back. Without his Uprising buddies Chris is not as confident and Nick Jackson takes it to him in spades. Nick is used to tag Team competition but is doing very well here. He catches Chris with a Superkick and then hits a Quebrada for a near fall. He goes for a single More Bang For Your Buck but Chris gets his knees up. He schoolboys Nick with a handful of tights for the win. Nick asks the referee for a replay. He gets it and wins the challenge. Match is restarted as Candido is livid. Nick hits a Springboard dropkick and then goes up top. As he leaps with a flying forearm Candido pulls the ref in the way and he gets waylayed. With the ref out Chris clobbers Jackson and then hits him with the Blonde Bombshell but the ref doesn't count. Instead he calls for the bell and DQs Candido.)

8. Purple Rayne w/Prince vs Canadian Ninjas - World Women's Tag Team Championship

(The Ninjas are pissed they didn't get the shot at Wrestlemania and are trying to upset all the plans for the show by winning the belts here. The match is back and forth. Then Madison catches Matthews with a Reverse DDT. The Champs work her over for a bit. But can't hold her down. Out to the stage comes Ashley Massero & Brooke Tessmacher. They are handing out discount cards for their favorite New Orleans Strip Club where they will be making a special Wrestlemania week appearance. This gets the attention of the champs who are not amused. But by being distracted it gives Nicole a chance to drop them both with a Double clothesline. Hot tag to Perez who is on fire. She goes for the School Girl Crush on Star but Prince jumps on the apron complaining to the referee. Portia grabs Prince by the collar as the referee is being distracted by Rayne choking Matthews on the bottom rope/ Prince throws some glitter into the eyes of Perez. Star then German Suplexes her with a bridge as the ref turns back and counts to 3.)

Winners: Purple Rayne

(After the match the 2 Chicks Same Time enter the ring. They are telling the referee about Prince's interference but there's nothing he can do. Then Purple Rayne shove them and its on. Both teams are brawling then the Ninjas join in and the champs are sent running.)

9. Hiroshi Tanahashi vs Robert Roode

(This has been brewing a while and now its come to head. Both men go tooth and nail. Tanahashi gets Roode in a Sharpshooter. Robert fights it and gets to the ropes. Tanahashi hits a Side suplex. Then goes up for the High Fly Flow but he misses! Roode hits a Northern Lariat. He covers for two. Then locks in an Arm trap Crossface. Tanahashi is in trouble but doesn't tap out. He is able to break the hold. Then catches Roode with two Slingblades. He goes up again but this time as Roode stands he is met with Tanhashi's Frog splash. 1.. 2.. Kick out by Roode. Bodyslam by Hiroshi. He looks to go up again but Roode goes after him and delivers a superplex. 1.. 2.. Kick out by Hiroshi. Roode goes for the Glorious DDT but Tanahashi counters into a Northern Lights Suplex for another 2 count. Roode stumbles to the corner. Tanahashi comes charging for a corner splash but Roode catches him and drops him head first into the ring post. Tanahashi is out on his feet. GLORIOUS DDT! 1.. 2.. 3!)

Main Event: Shawn Michaels vs Bad Luck Fale - XWA Championship

(Fale attacked Shawn at the season Premier show and tonight the champ has a receipt for the Bullet Club enforcer. It's all Michaels early on as his speed and agility is give Fale fits. But Shawn gets caught with a Spinning Sidewalk Slam. Now it's Fale's turn to put on the hurt. He beats down on Shawn for a good while. Then goes for the Bad Luck Fall but Shawn gets free and hits a Flyng Forearm. He nips up and looks for Sweet hin Music but Fale catches the foot and lays out Michaels with a Lariat. He gets him up and nails the Grenade. 1.. 2.. NOOOO!!! Shawn kicks out. Fale hits the ropes for a splash but Shawn moves. Shawn goes to the 2nd rope and nails a Flying Double Axe Handle to Fale who falls flat on his back. Michaels goes back up... Flying Elbow connects! 1.. 2.. NO! A forceful kickout by the challenger. Shawn though tunes up the band. Hangman Page comes running down the aisle and jumps on he apron where he eats Sweet Chin Music instead. But Fale spears Shawn right after. He lifts Shawn up for the Bad Luck Fall but the Daniel Bryan appears and is trying to get in the ring. The ref stops him but Samoa Joe slides in the other side and low blows Fale. Shawn drops to the mat not aware of what happened. But he tunes up the band... Sweet Chin Music! 1.. 2.. 3!)

Winner: Shawn Michaels

(After the match the members of the Triad have a good laugh at the expense of Bullet Club. Saxton says the war between the two groups is on and Wrestlemania is going to be the Final battle when Adam Coe and CM Punk fight for the World Heavyweight Championship.)
